The Ramada inn/Safari Joe's water park was great fun. The room was very clean. The maid even placed my son's stuffed animals on the bed after cleaning.

The overall of the premises along with the staff was phenomena my family and I will have nothing but good to say about the hotel.

The hotel staff was very very helpful. Our first room after bringing in luggage coolers etc the toilet did not work. So they let us move to another room.

The theme. No movies to rent, no room service. There were a few very big things missing from this hotel. Movies, room service, and a pool separate from the water park.

Safari Joes = slaughter of precious animals that should be adored in the wild or sometimes at zoos, but NEVER stuffed and mounted on the lobby wall of a hotel! The water in this hotel smells like rotten eggs. The first time a someone took a shower in our room, we were gagging from the stench of the water. Other family members who were staying in separte rooms reported the same experience with their water. Our room was dark and had no overhead lighting. Upon entering the room we had to stumble about to find a lamp to turn on so we could see. There is no a/c unit in the second bedroom of the suite with 2 Queen beds NOR is there a privacy curtain separting the 2 rooms. Our room was still toxic from new carpet and had not been aired out properly. The pillows were too soft and flimsy, feather stuffed and provided NO support. The Queen size bed had a Twin size bedspread adorning the foot of the bed and could only be used to cover one person. The staff at the front desk are friendly, prompt and professional. They were glad to provide us with extra blankets and towels as we needed them. The FREE, serve yourself Continental Breakfast includes a Carbon's Golden Malted Waffle station YUM! Animal lovers may be mortified to dine with the heads of so many beautiful animals that were slaughtered, stuffed and then hung on the walls of the dining room. Among the dead animals you will see mounted on the walls at Safari Joe's include an Elephant, Polar Bear, Zebra, Giraffe, Grizzly Bear, Hyena, American Buffalo, Moose, Wart Hog, Fox and much, much more! We could not believe there's a giraffe, polar bear, zebra and elephant. It's crazy!

This hotel is brand new with simple, clean rooms and an eager staff. It is in a somewhat remote area but not a bad drive to the Lake Michigan shore, and the area is developing wineries, antique shopping, and the like.

Water park pool and hot tub access available to hotel guests. Assumed water park was included with package. The hotel was clean, comfy, and convenient. The indoor water park was a fun addition for families and we enjoyed our stay.

The overall atmosphere was enjoyable. However, they DO NOT honor the price that the room is booked for. I was there on openig day, had I not had sent invitations out to my kids friends, I would not have stayed. I do not lie to be quoted one price (written) and robbed of another price. I had to go to the ATM to get more money to feed the kids. The price was $30 more for each room. I had 3 rooms. That's $90 that could have been spent elsewhere. Also, by holding the rooms with a card and still paid cash, they froze another $60 ($20 per room) for any incidentals that may happen. It took a month for the funds to be unfrozen.

The water park and safari theme were excellent. The information about who killed the stuffed animals was not appropriate for young children. The rooms and service were excellent and the water park and safari theme were appreciated by the entire family.

the beds were very comfortable, rooms clean, very courteous staff. Breakfast did last long enough, should have been opened forlonger period. This is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend to everyone and would definitely stay there again, if I am in the area.
