The hotel has a great location, we went to Six flags, Hollywood and LA and the hotel was in the middle of everything. We drove in from Oregon and didn't arrive until 12:30 in the morning and the staff was very friendly and had my reservation waiting. We got a very clean room and I loved having the free WIFI. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping up our room while we were staying. There is also a lot of stores within walking distance and a short drive to a mall about 7 minutes and close to the major freeways. I had a great vaction and having a good hotel room helps. If I had to change anything it would be having a hot breakfast in the morning, but continental does the job.

Located in Canoga Park, close to Topenga Blvd (27) with lots of restaraunts and shopping areas nearby. PCH is a 20 minute drive via the picturesque Rt.27. The room and the bathroom were really clean and the two queen beds were very comfortable. The room was equipped with a fridge and a dry cleaning service. The plasma screen TV was a nice touch. A great place to come back to after an all day sight seeing.

The room was very Modern. I would definetly stay there again. I have stayed in many hotels and I am a native to Las Vegas which is pretty much nothing but hotels and I thought the room was nice. The location was secluded and quiet. No maids walking in , no disturbances, fast check-in and out, close to places to eat, Fridge in the room and vending machines on property, coffe maker. What more could you ask for ?

My wife and I booked a room at the Ramada Canoga Park 11/26/08 to 11/30/08 to enjoy some of the attractions LA has to offer. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a King Size bed with 3 heavily worn pillows, linens that smelt old, a LCD television, and a bathroom which was quite evident of severe water damage. The bathroom had grout between the tile that appeared to be tinted green by the water (like the green on a leaky copper water pipe), mold in the grout in the shower, was missing floor molding (no pun intended), and the wallpaper was peeling in multiple locations. Sure there was granite countertops, but it was evident they skimped on the remodel and just tried to get the best bang for their buck! Departing from the bathroom, the main hotel room wasn't much better. There was still the peeling wall paper, but there were also holes in the ceiling which had been patched very poorly. These holes were the size of a softball, and looked like a 3 year old tried to patch them with silly putty. Next to one of the holes, there was what appeared to be blood spatter, or some sort of red spots (which were consequently above the smelly bed). There were holes that had been poorly patched in the walls, which then had wallpaper slapped over them in an attempt to hide them. We attempted to operate the television with the remote, but the channel buttons didn't actually control the channels! We placed a call to the front desk, and were told to use the white buttons on the remote (and were given attitude which seemed like we were bothering them). Moving on to breakfast, or lack thereof. I knew there was a continental breakfast, and most hotels I stay at offer a few choices, of bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, etc. The breakfast area in this hotel consisted of 3 tables (all with granite counters) but smelt of urine. The room was about 10'x12' and had your choice of 2 cereals, white or wheat bread, a very limited selection of individually wrapped danish, orange juice, and coffee.

Clean room. Very unfriendly and unco-operative staff. I requested a room away from roadside. Room was given but had plumbing problem. So I was given another room next to a busy street. I was told that there is no other room available. Hotel was 1/2 vacant which I could tell from the empty parking lot. I was awakened by sirens at 1:300am and could not go back to sleep. Next day I had a class to attend and kept dosing off during the class.

Who wrote these reviews? Relatives of the owners or employees? We had 2 rooms and both smelled disgustingly foul. Bathroom picture shows nice granite vanity, but the place is filthy, smells disgusting and has no towel rods! Breakfast room is very small, smaller than my kitchen. Doesn't matter because the breakfast was not good. Basically toast with coffee. We left to eat elsewhere. Ramada and the on line travel website should be ashamed of this selection. No one is at the front desk. I've never written a review before, but this was the worst place we have ever been, and sours us on the whole chain.

We chose this hotel in order to visit relatives in the area and found that that the room was really quite a great value for the money. It had been recently updated with a flat screen TV, nice countertops, microwave and fridge, excellent beds, and pleasing decor. The desk clerk printed boarding passes for our flight, brought me a a bottled water when I coughed, and was very nice.

All of the employees at the hotel, including the desk clerk and the maids were friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient. There's only 1 washing machine & 1 dryer - I had to wait. I found the hotel was very clean, well-organized, and every employee was helpful, pleasant, and efficient. As a senior leisure traveler I definitely enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Further, the high-speed Internet service was excellent as well as the room's appearance and cleanliness! In short, I was a happy camper!

The hotel is amazingly well cared for, with really nice plantings separating the cars from the first floor rooms. The room was furnished with black laquer furniture, with chinese red and gold bedspreads that felt far too heavy and plush for a simple motel. All rooms have flat panel TVs mounted on the wall, as did the breakfast room and lobby. Breakfast fare was above average with minute maid OJ and Orange Guava PassionFruit juices from a dispenser, along with white and wheat bread for toast, as well as Svenhards danishs - individually packaged Fruit and cereal with milk rounded out the choices. I nice, quiet place to stay, only a few miles from the 101 freeway.

It was very clean, confident, everything we needed. But we were scared to leave the room on our last day, cause the room next door to us was broken.

Clean, Good Location. WI-FI Speed. Manager's attitude. Small free space for the room. Good. Avoid the manager and you will be fine!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Limited cable TV channels, room was in the corner of the building, long narrow hallway into room. This hotel room itself was nice. A microwave and refrigerator were provided and there was a continental breakfast in the morning. However, the furtniture was too big for the room so moving around was not easy. A bad neighborhood and I did not like the trapped feeling when the door was opened.

Newly remodeled, clean, microwave and refrigerator in room. Far away from freeways and neighborhood not too good. The hotel is newly remodeled and clean. Refrigerator and microwave, as well as LCD TV are a plus. Very clean, but far away (7 miles) from freeways.

Nothing. Everything. This hotel was in a risky area of town, poorly lit parking and no security. I would not stay again at the Ramada.

The room was attractive with a nice flat screen TV. NA. The place was decent, clean and in a convenient location. The area was not the best for safety. The fact that the staff tried to nickel and dime us for more money for a double room when the place was pretty much empty. Left a bad taste in my mouth. They lost me as a customer of this reason alone!
Date of Stay:

Convenient, good bed, quiet. Television did not work in the AM, weak lighting. Motel served my purpose for a one night stay. It was clean, comfortable and quiet.
