I asked for a smoking room and orbitz assured me of that only to find out they dont have smoking rooms. The room was small compareable to other rooms i have stayed in before and for the price it was not worth the cost at all. Very diappointed. The inaccurancy of the description of the hotel on the orbitz web site was ridiculous. I will never use orbitz again. To top it all off the price assurance what a joke i had other family memebers staying the that paid 30.00 dollars a night less thanks for nothing. Also my girlfriend was scared to death by the mouse running through the parking lot and the overly active security everytime we pulled in here he come in a beat up chevy cavalier. Dont they have cameras? Never again will i put my trust in orbitz to plan my trip. Not worth it at all what so ever.

General location was close to restaurants & the college we visited. Smoking rooms. Great for a short stay. If you want a non-smoking room be sure to be clear about that.

Their website leads you to believe much more of it. It really is just basic accommodations, clean, but many small aesthetic flaws (read: old). Fitness center has nothing but old, beat up equipment, so don't count on a good work out unless you just hit the open road - better to try the free gym pass available to guests. Speedy room service! Excellent portion size for the price. Overpriced for what you get, but convenient location.

I?ve done quite a bit of traveling with the kids and have always strived to stay at decent motels. I always felt that Clarion was a cut above, I was WRONG. This place is not for resting your weary head, this is party town?all-night-long. Upon arriving, I found the lobby to be very nice and clean. I now know not to let this be an indication of the level of service or of guests? manners. The room was alright, except for water and used soap still in the tub. We could also hear a thump, thump, thump of loud music that seemed to be coming from an adjoining room. At 9:00 p.m. we turned off the T.V. and lights, only to find that the music was even louder and more annoying. At 10:00 p.m. unable to fall asleep because of the music, I called guest services to alert them of the loud music. I was told they would send security up. I dressed and went into the hall to see that a security officer was indeed arriving several minutes latter. I invited him into our room so he could hear the noise; he agreed that it was loud enough to be disruptive. He told me to notify him if it remained loud after he talked to this guest, he then left. I don?t know if he even talked to them, because the music seemed to get louder! At 11:00 p.m. a called guest services to politely alert them again, and once again was told it would be taken care of. Mind you, it was difficult to hear the fellow at guest services because there was very loud music coming from his end. After a half an hour passed and there was no discernable change in the volume of this music. I decided to go to the front desk, and if I received no satisfaction the kids and I would be checking out. Upon leaving the room and along the way to the lobby I was surprised at the spectacle that surrounded me. Several people roaming the halls talking loudly on cell phones. Kids running to and from rooms, doors hanging open with much revelry within the rooms, loud music EVERYWERE. Card reading security doors were swung wide open, inviting anyone o

Good, free parking, and friendly parking security people. The pool looked nice, but we were not able to access it due to a private banquet. The sheets were a bit uncomfortable, thin and there was an iron burn on the carpet. The bathroom was dark. It really was not a bad hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstance. It seemed unsafe, not clean, there was a spider in the bathroom, the rug seemed dirty, the doors were not secure.

The hotel was fine -- rooms could use some renovations, but they were clean, which to me is more important than anything. The indoor pool was very nice. The kids LOVED it.

No microwave, refrigerator, safe in room. Noisy halls, staff was so-so, not much of a continental breakfast, bar, restaurant closed? Arrived on x-mas evening. Only one staff member on duty. Woke to no restaurant or bar open, stated closed till new years? Staff was so-so and could hear a lot of talking (loud) in hallway in the morning and disrupted your sleep. Continental breakfast was not too good, pretty basic and guests were on their own. The pool area was the only nice place to be and the decorations in the lobby were nice and warm. Lobby staff was good but lacked information about restaurant, etc. in the area.

I wanted to book their ""Presidents Suite"". When I called the reservation desk I was told that I had to talk to the sales deptartment to ""negotiate"" a price. Noone answers in the sales dept. I left 4 voicemail messages and NEVER received a return call. Don't even bother to call.

It was close to many locations. It could have been cleaner. Overall, hotel was fine. It was close to where I needed to be and close to many convenient locations. Television selection could have been better.

We stayed here because it was close to the University and we wanted a Full Service hotel with dining and bar. The stay was horrible, no working remotes, dirty blankets, dirty bathrooms.Very LOUD party in hallway. Didn't get sleep, mentioned on check out and sent letter. NO RESPONSE, bad customer service. We will have to find another facility to stay when visiting our daughter at the Univ.of Toledo!

The location around restaurants, stores & movies is great. Nice staff & clean room to sleep in. Beds a little too firm, and pool water too cold I couldn't stay in more than 3 minutes if that long. Every thing went well except the beds too hard and the pool water too cold.

This place is entirely misrepresented. The pool was ok. The exercise equiptment was all broken. The tiles around the fixtures in the bathroom were also broken. Access to the rooms and the pool was uncontrolled presenting a real safety issue. The blankets were old and had mulitple cigarette burns even in a non-smoking room. The hallways had a definite odor. All of the pop machines were empty as was the snack machine.

Friendliness of employees. Closeness to interstate. I thought it was a nice place to stay and the people working there were friendly and efficient. Overall it was a very nice stay.

first impression when walking inn checkin was at 3:00pm we waited in lobby for 4 hours before our room was ready. it was impressive upon entering but it took it took 4 hours to get our room. the toilet was dirty with urine. and at 11:30 when i turned down the bed the sheets were filthy and stained. clearly no one had cleaned the room from the night before. the hotel staff moved us to to better room. it was dirty too. they gave us free breakfast the next day for our trouble. the hotel resturant staff were great. that was the best breakfast i got from a hotel.

Good value for price. We got put into a smoking room that smelled of smoke and we are non smokers. This hotel is nicely located, good facility.

"I was not happy with this hotel for the price charged. Customer service was awful, and we had to deal with several rude young girls at the front desk. The TV was dodgy at best, and we had to wait three hours to get a remote that actually worked so we could watch a movie. The rooms were clean, but nothing special and overall I've stayed in much nicer places for much less out of the pocket. Look elsewhere unless you're content to sit at the lounge for the night and really want to have a restaurant in the hotel."

"This hotel has good location near university and shopping mall and other stores. Also close ot expressway. Was probably once an elite place, but is now old looking and in need of an overhaul. The room was nice with a king bed, but the hallways were dingy and dirty. The price was right and it served our purpose. I would stay here again, but there are other nicer places in Toledo."
