The place had a funny smell. Rooms were adequate but dated. The soda machine was broken. Hallways were warm. It was over priced for what we got.

We were very tired from traveling and I felt sick so we went to lie down for a rest and all I could here was country music coming from another room so we asked to change rooms and they let us. What a pain going up the stairs with all of our belongings. The pool was too cold so we couldn't go swimming. The Jacuzzi was not in order so we couldn't use that. There was no free continental breakfast. The rooms were semi clean and very tiny. No nice views and the price was not worth it. We've stayed in much better places then this. Also it was very hard to find since they did not have good road signs. The location of the motel was in the middle of no where surrounded by N.Y. State Penatentry which was scary and depressing. I definately would not recommend this motel to any one unless they were my enemy.

Easy check in, easy check out. No elevator visible, traveling with elderly relative.

When my guest and I arrived and checked into over room we were very disappointed. Especially when it came to the bathroom facilites. First of all the faucet was leaking still even when you turn handles completely to shut it off. The water for the shower would change from extremely hot to extremely cold. The walls in the bathroom looked there was mold growing and the same thing goes the inside of the bathtub. Also my guest and I wanted to get something to eat in the restuarant. It was 8:40 pm but the restuarant was closed. The menu stated 9pm. We just wanted to order some dessert, perhaps get it to go. The room had a musty smell to it . So all in all this is not what I expected especially for paying a lot of money. After my experience I feel I should get some kind of compensation.

We ended up at this hotel on a trip back from Canada to NYC, had hoped to stay at Turning Stone casino but it was booked. This option was reasonably priced and we were quite surprised to get a 2-room suite in a Ramada Inn! The location is quite far from the highway and we were glad we found it during the day. Room was clean, staff was friendly if a bit slow-paced (isn't everyone when compared to New York?). We did not try the pool but it looked like it was popular. Bar advertised it was open until 11 but when we returned at 10:30 it was already shut...on a Saturday night! So if you plan on patronizing it you may want to check with the staff. All in all it was not a great location but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room.

It was the closest hotel near the prison I had to visit. Old, dank, dead zone. Room was larger than expected, but was at the end of mile long hallway vs in the middle via staff's description. This ill-reported location was bad for my guest who has bad arthritis. I requested in advance but did not receive extra towels any of the 4 days I was there. One of the 2 smoke detectors was without a battery. Mentioned it to staff. I had a friendly visitor crawling under the hallway door into our room. Our bed linen's were not changed on the day my guest decided to stay in. As a result, we were not sure if they ever got changed. We couldn't use the vending machine or the free internet access computer in the lobby as they were both out of order-the whole stay. The hotel is a dead zone, no internet plus, no cell phone reception.

When my guest and I got into our room it had a musty smell to it. The bathroom facilities were the worst. While using the shower it would change from hot to cold. The bathroom sink faucet you couldn't shut it off without a struggle. Also the restuarant and lounge close early. My guest and I wanted to get something to eat, but restuarant closed a half hour early. I was expecting it to be better.

clean, pleasant, room was loaded with all the things you need, refrig, micro, cooffee pot iron etc, massaging shower head. very pleasant staff!

Cheap and clean. Remote location made restaurant use mandatory. Hallways smell of smokers.

The hotel is out of the way and could be difficult to find if you don't pay close attention to road signs. The showers are COLD, not cool or lukewarm. The front desk said the will send someone to check it out, but it never happened. A much earlier review cited the same problem. The on-site restaurant opens at 6:30 am. Tthe door is open, the tables are set, and the lights are on but no one is available to seat or serve you. It wasn't a good experience, I recommend travelers avoid this place.

First of all, when we got into our room it cold and I mean cold because the window was open because it didnt close. We than ask for anoter room and when we took a shower, the temperature kept on changing from extreme hot to extreme cold. When we told them at the desk when we checked out they said they cant give us any compensation because we went through a thrid party.

Very hard to find as there are no signs for the motel or no road signs with names of roads. This motel was clean. I would not recommend the restaurant as there were no waitress on Friday night, just a bar maid. Dining room was not open, had to eat in bar. Food was not up to expectations.

This hotel is located next to an airport that is closed. The good thing in this is that it is quite. The worst thing about it is that it is kind of out of the way. Make sure to map the place before you hunt for it in the dark. There is a restaraunt available on site (we ate one breakfast there only one morning, it was okay). There is other food about 5 miles either side, so be prepared to drive a bit. Over all it was a good place for us to stop.

We tried most local hotels when visiting family and by far this is best for Rome/Oriskany area. Freindly staff and great place for family. Other hotels in Rome are very bad and very over priced -- especially Quality inn!!

Most of the facility was recently renovated. Very safe and friendly staff. Mildew in the bathroom grout/caulk, old bathroom fixtures. For the price, it was suitable. We only stayed one night. Most of the hotel was recently renovated, including the restaurant and lounge which had a brand new pool table and electronic dartboard which still had price tags on it. The rooms were renovated but the bathrooms were skimmed over. The bathroom caused both my fiance and my allergies to go crazy. Mildew in the grout and caulk of the tub, old fixtures. They tried to make the bathrooms look renovated but did not replace the sink, toilet, tub or tile. Exposed plumbing for the sink was old and rusty. The faucet was old and more water leaked out of the handle than came out of the spout. On the other hand, the beds were new, with new sheets/blankets there was new carpet/furniture/draperies. You could still faintly smell the fresh paint and wallpaper. For a business traveler or family on a budget, it was more than serviceable, especially for the price.

Good at giving directions. Couldn't get the wireless to work in our room. Way off the beaten track, difficult to find. There was no elevator. Things seemed outdated and dingy for the most part.

Very clean, remote location, close to cities. Quality or price of food, pool not cleaned. Very quiet, clean, friendly place to stay excellent for safe romantic walks, beautiful scenery surrounds this fairly well maintained, slightly off the beaten path, motel. Only problem was the price of meals don't mind the price so much as quality and quantity.

Definitely business travel environment. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms. Found it pleasant business travel hotel. Almost empty on weekend we were there. Slightly out of way for casino which is way we were there. would recommend and stay there again.

Kind front desk staff. Quiet non-residential location. Fitness room trash never emptied in 5 days. Rough ceiling patching in rooms. Stale smell in hallways. Would be more accurately described as a one-star hotel.

Excellent accommodations for the price. You will not find Italian Marble in the bathrooms, But they are very clean and the room was very comfortable! Streets are poorly marked. If it wasn't for GPS, I would have had a difficulty finding the place. We used this hotel as a half way piont for a trip to Ontario. We stayed just one night. The staff was nice, the room was clean and comfortable. We called for room service for dinner and for the two of us it was only $22 including tip. The food was good. Do be sure to get very good directions. If it wasn't for GPS, I would have needed mapquest to get there. We will definately be using this hotel on our next trip out to Buffalo and or Ontario.
