The hotel is situated on the Outer Ring Road of Leeds, A6120 at the junction of the A64 to York. From the M1 South Follow the signs for the M1 The North Leeds (East). Exit at junction 46, signposted A6120 Leeds (East) and airport. Take the first exit onto the A6120 and straight over at the next roundabout. With Sainsbury's on the left hand side, move into the right hand lane follow the Ring Road A6120 at the next roundabout. Go through Crossgates town centre and get into the right hand lane at the roundabout. Take the third exit (the Travellers Rest Public House will be on your left hand side) and follow the dual carriageway to the next roundabout. Go straight forward up the hill and the hotel is on your right hand side at the top of the hill. Stay in the right hand lane and double back on the roundabout, turn left into the hotel car park. From the M62 East (Hull) and West (Manchester) Exit at Junction 29 and follow signs for the M1 The North. The directions are then as above. From the A1 (M) North and South Exit at Junction 45 signposted for Leeds A64. Follow the single carriageway for approximately 4 miles. The hotel is on the left hand side at the first roundabout you reach. Take the first exit left and into the hotel slip road and car park. From Leeds City Centre and the M621 Follow the signs for the A64 York Road. Follow this dual carriageway out of the city centre for about 5 miles. At the first roundabout you come to, Halfords will be on your left hand side, go straight forward past the Texaco petrol station. At the next roundabout, (Eddy's Motorcycles on your left) turn left and go straight up the hill. The hotel is at the top on your right hand side, double back at the roundabout and turn left into our slip road and car park.

Worth going that little bit furtherI booked this at late notice as I was simply to tired to continue journey late at night.I normally stay at a different chain slightly closer to the M1 for ease. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly despite me getting there late, (near midnight). Room was clean and quiet, No traffic noise. room service 24hrs. Its well worth the extra 5 mins off motorway.

Adequate and what you would expect from a chain hotel. Breakfast not available before 8.00am is no good for anyone working at the weekend (as I was).

Nothing to write home about.Average in most areas.Waited 10 minutes on the first night for a waiter in the restaurant - no-one showed up. Ate out.

Very good value for money, pleasant staff and large room. Everything had a well used feel and reminded me of a hall of residence! Having said this it was a bargian price and suited our needs.

Oh DearVery close to the place in which I was working this was the only plus point. Had to have house keeping to the room twice, for very obvious reasons (enough said) I had room service- not bad and was told that the plate would be removed within the hour, the next morning it was still outside the room. Very noisy and matrass very lumpy and full of springs. Shower also poor.

Appropriate for the priceThe hotel is corporate, soulless and bland, but perfect for a cheap night's stay when you don't expect to spend any time in your hotel room. Check in and out was quick and efficient, there was plenty of parking and the staff were friendly. The bar food was as bad as you might expect.

Ramada Leeds NorthEnjoyed our stay. Staff friendly if not too efficient at times (drinks took a long while to arrive from the bar.) Room generally OK, bed comfy, pillows a bit flat. Bathroom could do with an update. Not too far from the city centre. Would probably stay again.

Ramada Leeds NorthHotel was easy to find and had good on-site parking. Although room was booked for 2 x adult occupation room was only set out for single occupancy and there was only one set of towels etc. This is apparently the "Ramada Standard" and guests are expected to find the other set of towels stored at the top of the wardrobe. Also never enough tea bags left in the room - and no biscuits on arrival - again, the "Ramada Standard". This is not acceptable for the amount of money charged per room. And there were 2 wedding receptions over the weekend - both very noisy with little consideration for other hotel guests. Food was good, though, with plenty of choice and very large portions.

One night in LeedsStaff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was very nice. The room was pretty tired and dated though and could have done with a good clean. Okay for a short stay but wouldn't want to stay there for much longer.

Ok as a cheap stopover, £50 B&B for two. Location is excellent for York or North. Cleanliness was an issue, we asked to change rooms, this was no problem. Second room was good, comfy clean bed. Breakfast was good.

Ramada Leeds NorthHotel looking very tired could do with some money spending on it as it has seen better days.The food was very average but the seats in the resturant could do with upholstering as the two that I used were both through to the wire.Woke to find no hot water and after a while was give a room down the corridor to use for showering, as away on business and tight for time not over joyed

Excellent value for money, nice comfortable room but a bit small, good sized bathroom. Good room service, very pleasant staff, reception a little understaffed, a friend tried to call and no one answered the phone on several occasions. Definitely stay again.

Not a bad stay for the priceI paid £44 for a double room on Laterooms on the day of my arrival. For the price it is very good, a decent sized room with adequate facilities.The double bed was actually 2 single matresses which wasn't ideal but cant complain at the price.All in all a decent stay

ramada dissapointmentNo.t what we would expect from a hotel that claims to charge over a hundred pounds a night normally.The drinks in the bar were extautionate .The shower curtain in the room smelt absolutely sour and offputting every time we walked into the bathroomand then before returning to our floor, we discovered the ceiling had come down to expose dripping water and electrical wires near to it.

This hotel is ideally situated for us visiting family and is also well placed with good links to visit lots of attractions in and around leeds.Having stayed here several times on the whole this is a reasonable option for an out of town hotel, the only thing that lets it down is the service. It seems that when this hotel has a large coach party or held a function the previous evening you can forget any sort of service at breakfast, food is in short supple if any at all, and staff tend to run around like headless chickens not knowing what to do first so service at breakfast is on the whole poor.However the rooms are clean and tidy and reception staff courteous and polite, although some of the beds may have seen better days and could do with replacing unless your happy feeling every spring in your back when you sleep, avoid room 119 uncomfortable bed and very hot no a/c.Having said all that its most likely that we will be staying again as for us its the nearest hotel to visit family, so dont be put off by our comments just be prepared this is a good value for money hotel.

Ramada Leeds North The shower curtain had a significant odour, otherwise the room was adequate. The breakfast left much to be desired. The egg was cold and hard, the sausage bunt and the mushrooms swimming in fat. Overall, this hotel was sufficient for the money paid (£53) but would never have justified the full ticket price.
