Date of Stay: June, 2009

I was there going to the Mayo Clinic for a week. The shuttle takes you anywhere in Rochester for free. Everyone at the Ramada is very helpful and friendly. Using their internet connection does require your computer to have wireless capability which my computer does not have, but they have 3 computers in the business center for use by guests. The beds are comfortable and the free breakfast is good. It is handicap accessible.

Clean, friendly. The bottom of the had sharp gritty surfaceI cut my finger and my son cut his foot on it. Nice, clean hotel good place to stay with kids.

Personal were pleasant and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. A little more noisy on the week-end when more families were there but still overall a very good choice. Would stay there again if in the area.

The hotel had nice accommodations There were kids everywhere. If your plans include using the hot tub. Good luck finding time when its not packed full of kids I would definitely stay there again but definitely with like a family. There were kids everywhere. I would recommend that the hotel set away like eleven to midnight just for adults for pool/hut tub use.

If you are taking a family member to the Mayo Clinic for treatment, this is a great place to stay. The people were wonderful, accommodating and very generous. The location was fabulous.

We have stayed in many Rochester hotels and this was our best experience yet. The shuttle service to Mayo Clinic is like no other. They have many scheduled times that they will happily take you, and they will also take you anytime you ask and bring you home up until 11:00 p.m. Many hotels end this service at 6:00 p.m., which often doesn't fit with what is going on at the hospital. The pool has a large "flume" slide and basketballs and basketball hoops. The hot tub is large enough to fit many people instead of the tiny 2-3 person ones we have seen at some other places. It was great to start each day with the continental breakfast so we didn't have to run around and get something at a restaurant. The Apache Mall is nearby, along with other shopping and restaurants. The shuttle will even take you to those. We stayed four nights. One night was not so great because of a noisy neighbor, but the other nights were great and we were very happy with our choice.

Breakfast is fantastic - lots of kid friendly items. Now that it is self serve again, it is MUCH nicer. Lots of variety and the waffles are excellent.

I was given a first floor room. The price was too high for a week day. The hotel was fine. I was not informed on where the breakfast was to be.

We booked our room because travelocity showed it as a ""Deluxe"" room with a king size bed. We found out there was no difference between deluxe and standard rooms. The shower worked poorly and the bed was pushed way over against the wall leaving an empty space of 6'x8'. 3 stars and 5 happy faces was not an accurate measurement.

Hotel staff was very friendly. They would answer questions and the shuttle would take us anywhere we wanted to go, restaurants, the mall, the Mayo Clinic, etc. The hotel was prefect for kids. They would have fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon and the hotel had a great pool area with waterslide, basketball hoops, small child's play area, video games and hot tub! The pool area also had a glass ceiling so it was like you wer outside without being outside. There was also a workout area but I didn't use that. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Standard type continental breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel, Theresa's Restaurant, was not very good but everything else at the hotel was great!

Clean, good value. All what I hoped for. Noise, restaurant. Overall, good experience. The pool area was very nice. The AC heating unit was noisy. The service in the bar was below average. I would stay there again.

The Ramada Rochester Mayo Clinic Area was an excellent value. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel has a shuttle to the Mayo Clinic if needed. The hotel restaurant - Teresa's - was a step above typical hotel restaurants.

Convenient to freeway access. Could not get hotel key card to work, had to go to desk to receive new one, with luggage in tow. It was nice, quiet, had pool and exercise room, restaurant was excellent. Had problem with door key-card, but front desk clerk gave me two replacement key-cards.
