Very good location. Toilets didn't work well, I had to switch rooms. For the location and the price the room wasn't bad. I had to switch rooms due to a faulty toilet, and the second room was noticeably nicer than the first, with better bedding, a better view, a newer television and more space. I needed internet access and it was outrageously expensive here: 50HKD (about $7 US) for 15 minutes.

Good value for money in Hong Kong

This was my first time in Hong Kong, and I was very pleased with the Ramada Kowloon. We stayed here for three days and two nights, and it was wonderful. The receptionist was polite and tried her best to speak English. We resided on the eighth floor, and the moment I entered our rooms (we had three) I was astounded! They were so neatly fixed and clean and the colors were soothing to my eyes. My room did not exactly have the best view, which was of the neighboring high-rise buildings of the middle class citizens. However, the beds were always in neat shape and were very comfortable to sleep in. I guess the housekeeper comes in everyday, since once I left my clothes unfolded on the bed, and when I came back, they were neatly folded on my bed. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, living up to Ramada standards. However, the negatives include that you have to pay for anything you consume from the room (unless it's your own of course). Also, we did not get the non-smoking floor, and someone in the room across the corridor from us was constantly smoking, thus bringing nicotine scent into our room. But, the closet was very spacious and the whole room was always bright. Also, the hotel is right in the vicinity of many stores, and right across the street is a McDonald's. Also, just on the corner is a foreign currency exchange. Very convenient! Some well-known stores, such as Giordano, Lacoste, Espirit, and Bossini are a 20-minute walk from the hotel, but other stores such as Po San Company, which sells souvenir T-shirts at bargain prices and Watson's are within ten minutes. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Hong Kong.

The location was fantastic -- very convenient to everything. The elevators were small and you had to wait a long time for them. This hotel is perfect for the person who is looking for a convenient location and good service, but doesn't necessarily need a fancy hotel room. The room was basic, but clean and quiet. The most important things one looks for when looking for a good night's sleep after being out for the day. The staff was very polite and friendly and when calling housekeeping for extra towels and blankets, they were delivered almost immediately. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort and service over "fancy accommodations". It's a good value.

The Wi-Fi facility at this hotel belongs to an era bygone. They want $120/24 hours and it is highway robbery - internet is free in most places. They have to change this policy quickly or else no smart travelers are going to stay there. Otherwise, I had a good tme staying there.

Perfect location (airbus A21 stop is just in front of the door, bus trip was 1-hour long from the airport and 50 min. to the airport). MRT station is at a short walikng distance. Room clean and spacey enough for 1 person, aircon worked well, buffet breakfast was good. Recommended for short stays for singles.

I really didn't know anything about this hotel, a hongkongese friend of mine just advised me to go to Tsim Sha Tsui and I followed his advise. This hotel really convenient because it is in the center of Hong Kong, not far from the MTR station, not far from Nathan Road (both 2-3 minutes by foot). The prices are OK, the hotel is clean. I would advise it for anyone who doesn't know Hong Kong and who expects a good price-performance ratio!

The location of this hotel is excellent, within easy walking distance of both the MTR and the KCR, as well as all the main attractions and shopping malls on Nathan Road and the Kowloon waterfront. The side streets leading over to Nathan are full of interesting small businesses to explore. The hotel is very accommodating about leaving luggage after check-out, while you shop. The beds are comfortable - not hard, as many hotels in H.K. are. The rooms all have safes and hair dryers. Hand towels in the bathroom would be nice. The operation of the T.V. can be confusing as there are many options - pay movies, et cetera. A simple explanation for regular T.V. watchers would help. We have not really made use of the other facilities in the hotel, as the location is so great for meeting our needs.

The room will not be suitable for someone who's claustrophobic. Otherwise, the hotel's location and friendly staff are excellent.

The room is so tiny even by Hongkong standards, the ceiling is very low and airconditioning is not in good working condition. The bed, true enough as i read in one of the comments, is VERY HARD. We had to request for extra comforter to ease the hardness of the bed even for a little bit. The frontliner/ female receptionist is a snub, unhelpful and unfriendly. The elevator serves up to 17th floor only, and since we were assigned at the 18th flr we had to climb to & from the staircase each time!!! We will definitely not go back to this hotel again.
