OK for a nightGood central location. Room OK but small, bathroom tiny, no air con which would have made the rooom better, we had to leave window ajar as the room was very hot (window had a fixed wire so only small opening) - which meant sleep was difficult as the seagull noise was HORRIFIC all day and night. Leisure facilities good clean and well amintained, but as in basement of hotel and no natural light made it feel a bit dingy. It is unlikely that I would stay here again.

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and our room faced the street - the windows and walls do not block out much of the noise from the streets below. Excellent location!

The Room was warm (if a little shabby), the bed was comfortable, the water was hot (although the mildew on the ceiling was a little worrying!) and the breakfast was ok. What let this hotel down was the utterly dreadful service! The lady who cleaned my room was lovely, but the bar, resturant and front desk staff were not just difficult they were downright rude in some cases. The resturant food was horrid, if you have to stay here I would recommend the "Staging Post" pud for great service and excellent food.

Does What It Says On The TinFine for an overnight stay. Clean, good value and friendly/helpful staff. Good location in the centre of Inverness with on-site parking. Not a lot of character though. Like most of the big chains it's perfectly acceptable without being memorable.

Never again!!My room over looked the front of the hotel and to say it was noisy must be the understatement of the year. I arrived mid-afternoon and the traffic noise was intolerable. Early evening when the bars across the road were filling up, verbal noise and loud music was every bit as bad. I arrived back in my room at around 11.45pm, and well into the night there was shouting and and screaming in the street below. Guests came in late (1-3 in the morning), constantly banged doors shut and had no consideration for other guests. This is the first time I have stayed in this hotel and I chose it because it was close to the bus and rail station, but in future I would rather book a cheaper hotel a bit farther away and use the saved money on taxi fares. I would not recommend this hotel ever to anyone, not because of the quality of the hotel, but because of it's location.It was mandatory to tick one of the boxes below, and I have, as I would have been unable to post this review without doing so, but in my opinion, I would not choose this hotel for any purpose simply because of the noise levels.

Weekend AwayHotel was easy to get to despite being in the city centre and ample parking available to the rear.Ideal for a night or two in the centre of town near to all shops and pubs. Room was larger than most I've been too with a large bed so no fight for the covers/space required. Staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be near the nightlife but would add there was no problem with noise late at night.

Because we were travelling by train, the location was very convenient. Our room was at the front overlooking a drab shopping street. Rooms at the back (which were fully booked, we were told) had a river view. The pool was excellent but the changing rooms need attention.

Ramada Jarvis, InvernessVery average in many respects, the hotel is a little tired and dated but a confortable and clean room and a very central location. Overall, good value and a great breakfast. I would certainly stay again. One tip, check you know your way to the car park - it wasn't easy to find!

We enjoyed excellent facilities with river view. The gym looked great but did not sample its delights. We used the pool, sauna and steam room and they were all very clean and relaxing. Downside is the shower in the room was not the easiest to work but showers in pool area brilliant. Great choice of breakfast to suite all tastes. Not tried the evening meals so cannot comment.

Excellent staff at this hotel!We found the receptionist very friendly and helpful. In fact all staff couldn't have done more for us.The studio room on Level 4 was great, overlooking the river and much quieter than on our last stay when we faced the street.The hotel was very convenient for the shops and the bonus was being allowed to leave the car in their carpark next day.

The double room which I had booked turned out to be an adapted room for disabled with no bath. The bathroom had a damp smell. The receptionist whom I asked for a change was very helpful but unfortunately the only other room which I could be offered was a twin. This I accepted. The room was small with basic amenitiesOn the positive side, staff were very helpful and attentive and the food, bioth dinner and breakfast were very good

Experienced TravellerA good quality Hotel in the centre of things - where you want to be if you are visiting or staying overnight in Inverness. Friendly staff & nice environment. Reasonably priced. Good value. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Poor accomodationRoom was old,tatty and not clean. Biscuit crumbs on floor.Shower was not hot even when fully turned up and the water flow was very poor. I had also requested a double bed but was given 2 single wher the beds were old and the matresses past their best. All in all value for money was extremely poor. Certainly have bno plans to use this hotel again.

Must do better...!This would could have been a much nicer stay for me, if only my reservation had not been booked using my first name as my surname and the bathroom of the room I eventually got had a shower that was not covered in black mould and was either scolding hot or freezing cold. Oh and I was charged more on check out than I had booked.....Other than all these problems the hotel staff were fairly nice, especially in the resturant and the food was very nice.

the staff were very helpful as we had booked a twin room and got a double bed instead of 2 singles but they soon changed that. everyone did all they could to make ouir stay pleasant although the barman at night was quite abrupt when he wanted us 2 leave. apart from that an excellent time was had by all.

Ramada InvernessOur room was really nice the staff were all very pleasant and helpful but the room was very noisy. It overlooked the main street and after the bars emptied the noise was quite bad.....then at 0600 the bin lorries etc started their rounds causing more noise, I would recommed a room overlooking the river to anyone considering this Hotel

Room 310Hotel was really nice and a great central location.Restaurant and bar very good and elevators all worked well.Room 310 had a street view which wasnt what i was wanting. A river view on the other side was what i was looking for. Strret noise was loud. The balconey which was locked for safety reasons was full of cigarette butts which was not nice at all. Yhe bathroom was ok , rather small and towel rail hanging off wall. Saff friendly and helpfull.Would go back but will only take a river view room.

recommendedClean spacious room over looking the river and right in the centre of town. Swimming pool a bit dated. Friendly staff.
