The room was good and had a desk for working. Small shower and lack of hot water. Generally OK for the money. Take showers in the morning because at night there is little hot water.

I was very satisfied with the price I paid for the stay. Book for standard room but was upgraded into deluxe room (dunno the reason for that....btw, thanx HotelClub!) without any charges. The room was excellent. Service was impressive. Location was good, just exactly in front of the tram stop and buses stop. Definately recommend this hotel to travellers.

Decent hotel at one end of street with many food markets. Trams pass by hotel and tram stop nearby. Not right in centre but only 15-20min walk to the main bus/train station.

I had reserved a room in a better category than normal, but not a suite. They did not even ask me... I got out of the elevator - SMOKE! I went into the room: room-size ok, but smokey! I didn't want a smoking room, so I had to go back down to the lobby to complain. They were not helpful and said "no more non-smoking rooms" (even though I had to fully pay and guarantee my room in advance, they did not keep a non-smoking room for me!). So I asked to be given any other rooms. They said: none. Very unfair. The next day, I switched rooms. The 2nd room had a very hard bed - almost as hard as wood. I had to go back down to the lobby again to complain... Receptionist said "all the rooms have same bed". I said it's impossible because the previous night, the room had a much better matress. So they said they will put something to make bed softer while I went out. I got back in evening: bed still super-hard. I called them to complain and they said they will send someone to fix. She put pretty much a bedsheet over matress. Still very hard. It was late, so slept on hard mattress. Overnight - I turned on A/C 28degrees... room was FREEZING! So next day, I told them. They said "all rooms are the same way". I said it's impossible because previous night was better. They said someone will come to fix it. The person came and was teaching me how to use A/C controller, like I'm an idiot! I had to get into shouting match with receptionist to switch rooms. 3rd room had decent matress, no smoke and decent A/C. I hated shouting match to change room.

The family trip was supposed to be happy if we did not choose to stay in this hotel. The stay in the hotel was unpleasant. The body language portarayed from the staff spells the unfriendliness towards the tourists. I wonder whether the treatment will differ if I am not a Chinese. From my observation, I noticed that the hotel do not welcome children. The male staff, especailly, will stare at my children whenever they moved about and attempt to charge at them when they see my children pointing at the 'No smoking' sign that was on the table. My children could not even laugh in the lobby. The staff will ask them to be quiet. The bed is horrible. The shuttle bus service is not punctual thus time is wasted waiting in the lobby. I took the shuttle bus to the Airport Express on my last day. The male staff 'throw and toss' my things onto the bus. This resulted the sling on my bag to break. The attitude of the staff is bad. The Good name of the hotel will not go far if they have staff who are rude and with bad attitude .

The attractiveness and friendly staff. Once inside the hotel, I felt as if I had stepped into a new world where I was royalty and everyone was going out of there way to please me.

I especially would like to thank to Simon Leung for his assistance.Hotels location is very good as it is easy to go to central or causewaybay with tram which has a stop just infront of the hotel door.We will definitely stay in the same hotel next time we visit

Just a 15 minute walk to the MTR 5-10 minutes by bus/tram. 5 minutes away from Central on the MTR. Very clean and tidy.

For the price, the Ramada Hong Kong is a great deal. The rooms are and large and most are "mini suites". This is very unusual in Hong Kong. Everything is clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel is in Western Hong Kong, which requires a short Tram ride into the tourist area, but the tram stops right in front of the hotel, runs every couple minutes and only costs 2 HKDollar - (only about 25 centsUS) Unfortuanately, there were 2 bad things about the hotel, which for me, are important, and will stop me from staying there again. The Bed is very hard - no padding whatsoever. Like sleeping on stone. I just could not sleep comfortably in those beds. My body ached in the morning. I complained to the front desk, but they said all the beds were the same, and Asian clientele prefer these hard beds. (??) The other issue was the gym. Although advertised as a complete workout gym., it was a small room with no weights and only a 5 very sad exercise machines which broke every time I tried to use them....very disappointing. So if you like to sleep on a rock hard bed, and don't need a workout rorom, this is definately a good choice.

Very nice room, excellent service, good price value. 20-30 minutes walk from the metro-subway. Very good value for the money. Nice clean good size room. New and updated amenities. Varieties of shop and restaurant around. A bit far from public transportation.

The only nice person was the concierge. The check-in staff were rude and spoke bad english, the tour desk mucked up our HKG tour booking and the restaurant staff did not even get up from their meal to serve anybody. The hotel location is very bad as it is quite a distance from Central and located amongst smelly fish shops. At the airport, desks A01 and B01 could not direct us to the hotel so we took a limousine bus at HKG$480 only to find that when we had to return to the airport the bus was just around the corner and cost only HKG$40!!! Better directions needed!!!

Their shuttle service to the city does not run on Sunday or after 6 pm. There is also a long break around noon with no service. On the other hand if you don't have alot of luuggage there is a regular city bus which takes you almost to the door of the hotel from the airport and is inexpensive.

Many positives about the hotel. Clean, safe, very attentive service, nice rooms, good location (short cab ride to Center and Airport Express). The bed was horrible. Literally felt like sleeping on a concrete slab. Companions in other rooms agreed.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Location was not quite as good as expected but still decent. Very clean and comfortable. An excellent hotel for people traveling on a budget because we were able to find some decent rates. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. It was not located close to the MTR...had to take a tram through the dried seafood district to get to the station. The trip was cheap and easy though. Also, the hotel is an inexpensive cab ride from Central District (approximately $10 CDN). Overall, a good spot in Hong Kong.

A little bit expensive the normal rate, but with "[website]" it was acceptable. The internet is not free, not even the hotel's business room. The breakfast variety not big but very delicious. Good location, recomended for everybody.

The person in the reception area was very accommodating, although we carried our luggage to the reception area. The room was clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast (although we bought separately) was worth the money. Good value for money hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights in Jan08. The room is pretty big for Hongkong standard, Pretty happy with the room. There are lots of shops outside (24 hours convenient shops just opposite the building). The only problem is to find the hotel. My husband and I walked to the hotel and it was very tiring and took 30-45 mins... My suggestion is take tram from Sheung Wan or Central MTR to Kenny Town direction and then stop at the next station after Police Station (left hand side) . The journey takes 10-15 mins. Tram stop is exactly in front of the hotel (Hotel is on the left hand side). I would definitely stay here again because I know how to locate the hotel already. Actually its pretty easy to go to the hotel.--FYI, there is free shuttle bus to ferry terminal from monday to Friday...
