My stay at this hotle was wonderful, great room for the price. The kids enjoyed the pool and it is convient to the mall and the resturants

The location. The check in procedure. I arrived at 11:30 am. I was told there were no clean rooms available until 3 pm which was check in time. At 3 pm there were about 20 people trying to check in were told that the rooms were still not clean. Many people that had reservations had to wait until 4-5 pm to check in or were turned away all together. The manager was very rude and acted like he could care less.

This was a bad stay from the beginning. I guess I expect the check-in desk clerk to be wearing something better than cutoff bluejean shorts and a neon pink t-shirt. Then they said they couldn't find my reservation. Then when they finally found it, I heard them say "Oh, I hate the travel website reservations." Then they wanted to charge me for the room. I pointed out to them that I had already paid. Did I mention there wasn't even a clock in the room? Not that it would have mattered, since the power went out around 5am. When I tried to check out at 9am, there was no one at the desk or in the office. Some lady yelled at me from down the hall to "just throw your key on the desk." I will never stay at this hotel again, and strongly recommend that no one else does either.

I came to Inn on the Hill because it was close and I was plesantly surprised with the service and nice property. Older building but they make up for it in service

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is in a somewhat older part of town and away from the new restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was quality traditional southern cooking. The hotel itself is older, but has been updated in the past few years. Its location makes it difficult to turn left out of the entrance across 5 lanes of highway. Also the next exit down the interstate is where all the new restaurants are and new chain hotels are more conveniently located there.
