ramada glasgowcental for rail stations, fantastic shopping and restuarants. staff helpfull and polite. good scottish breakfast :)

The Ramada was undergoing renovation when we were there and our rooms were in a recently painted and refurbished area. The paint smell was still strong, the new phones were not yet in operation, and the elevator did not call on our floor. The rooms were comfortable, however, and our stay was generally pleasaant aside from the annoyances caused by the reconstruction. The area was somewhat noisy, however, which was a problem on one weekend night when druken revelers kept us awake.

Location. Room way to small and area very noisy. Did not care for this hotel. the staff was not helpful. The area was to noisy on the lower end of a 3*.

The staff were the friendliest and most helpful I have met in a long time. We felt we were valued customers. The room let the hotel down as it was dated and a little bit shabby. There was no air conditioning but the staff did sort out a fan for the room. The breakfast was good The hotel was great for a quick overnight stay but not somewhere where i would like to spend longer and this was purely down to quality of the room

2 rooms 1 was small 1 at front very noisy re nightclub no air con very hot open window very noisyall rooms very hot and need air con installed when you opened window very noisy not just city noise but at front of hotel very noisy from night club . however the hotel is central to al attractions, rooms were clean, breakfast was lovely and staff helpful.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in for business.The bedroom was the smallest double bedroom I have ever stayed in when travelling on business. The was a 3/4 sized double bed and about a foot around it in space. The room was claustrophobic with no window to open and no air con. In addition the hotel had a teenagers' party on all night in the restaurant below with lots of drunk kids and noise until 2 am in the morning with laughing, shouting and drinking in the bedrooms. Then after finally getting a little sleep, the maids started throwing hundreds of towels outside our door at 6.45am which lasted half an hour and woke us up. I should really have requested my money back but I was shattered, late for my meeting and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Arrived around 7pm, showered & went out for meal. When came back & had time to check out room, would have asked to be moved to another room but as was late didn't. Toilet seat broken, shower not good etc.
