While not in the greatest location it is very close to Chinatown, Gastown and the wharf. The rooms are clean and the service was very good. This represented excellent value.

I think if we have a fridge in our room, that gonna helps us to have cold water and put our frruits in it.

Friendly, cooperative staff. Windows. I liked it.

The hotel is just one block off the Gastown district, which is convenient but also close to some less than desirable parts of the city. That is the only negaitve comment. The desk personnel were fabulous, valet helpful, and the facilities remarkably like many European hotels. The breakfast room in the basement was particularly continental, and the meal was quite sufficient. We even had a whirlpool tub in our room and did not request it. For the price, could not be beat!

Helpful, friendly staff, great room and bed, good breakfast. Easy access to sights in downtown Vancouver BC and also only a short walk to the sky train. Good value too. So much better quality/price ratio than the Sheraton I stayed at afterwards (which was nice but charged extra for every little thing, including WiFi, which the Ramada doesn't).

10 min walk away from the seminar I was attending so able to walk there easily.

The hotel did meet my need and is well located. The flooring in the room made squeaking noise when you walked on it. The hotel is well located to downtown Vancouver. The hotel staff was friendly and pleasant. It is not in the safest area but just don't park on the street there is a parking lot about 2 blocks down from the hotel or you can do valet parking. But overall the hotel served our need best.

We spent 3 nights here and were very pleased. The first room we were assigned smelled smoky (it is a non-smoking hotel), but they quickly moved us to another room which turned out to be a MUCH better room - larger, corner, with water views and windows that opened. Valet forgot to get our car once, but otherwise everything was exceptional, and at a VERY good price. If you prefer the sleek, new, all glass high rise hotels, this one isn't for you. But if you want a little taste of "old Vancouver" while still keeping modern amenities, this one is it. The highspeed internet service here was the best we experienced on our trip, including more expensive hotels in LA, Irvine, and Seattle. Breakfast was only so-so, and crowded and room was too warm, but there is a little cafe across the street ("Smile") that serves a very nice variety of breakfasts at reasonable prices. Also, the Yagger Bar & Grill next door has good food & friendly service - and the best fries we have had in years! Location is right on the border between nice, downtown area and somewhat seedy area, but convenient for walking to sights, shopping, and trolleys during the day.

This hotel is a great alternative to the expensive hotels in Vancouver. The location is a * cab ride from the big and fancy hotels by the water. The rooms are a bit small, but the staff was great and very helpful. I would definetly stay there again.

I had to make a short visit to Vancouver for business, the hotel was in a great location and my experience was good, considering the excellent rate that I got through Orbitz. One advantage of this hotel is that the Gray Line Quick Shuttle (Seattle Airport to Vancouver) drops you right at the doorstep of the hotel. Amenities were decent, breakfast was good and wholesome. Overall a good experience.

Room was cozy. Valet crashing the truck. The hotel was good, little noisy in the early morning.

Hotel has a great location, accessible to bus stops and just a 5-10 min walk to gastown. Restaurants and coffee shops are just around the area. Hotel is old but clean and rooms are comfortable and quiet. There's only one small elevator so it gets really busy if everyone needs to use it at the same time. Receptionists were helpful and bellman was really nice. Also, check in is not until 3pm so we had to eat lunch first somewhere. It would have been nicer if the rooms were ready at least 1pm, especially for those guests arriving early like us.

At least it was very clean. One very small elevator for the whole building.

It was very safe, and clean. I will stay here next time. Nothing This hotel is great! The staff are friendly and the location is great!

If you're afraid of a slightly poor neighborhood, or require big rooms, stay away. For myself, I never felt in danger and had no problem with the clean, modern room. The staff was exceedingly nice as well. Also, a great location for walking downtown. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in September '09. We pretty much liked everything since this place met our expectations. It has an excellent location not too busy or fancy, but close too mass transit and pretty cool sights. The room was a little small, but clean.

Surprise charges for parkingnot on Internet site!, hard to access car, hard for visitor to park, room right beside elevator extremely noisy, was not able to sleep!,very disappointed.

The ramada limited was a very pleasing place to stay, very public transportation friendly, handy to downtown. Staff was extremely helpful. Liked the idea that it took a hotel key to use the elevator. Breakfast was adequate. Breakfast room was very clean and staff friendly. The neighborhood is a bit seedy, I wouldn't go out at night, but quite safe during the day and an easy walk downtown, the Station, gastown. Very comfy if not small room, but very nice bathroom and a good view of the Harbour Center. Would most definitely stay there again. I'm a senior Lady.

Friendly staff; comfortable beds. Very noisy area; difficult to use heat and or A/C controls. Close to things we wanted to do; small room, but sufficient for our needs; would like to see mirror in room, as only one is in enclosed bathroom. Difficult for two people to get ready at same time (especially two women!).

I certainly would recommend this hotel to family and friends if they ever visit Vancouver - friendly staff, strategic location to downtown Vancouver.
