Despite having booked a non-smoking room with two full sized beds in late May, I arrived at the hotel this past weekend (6 weeks after the reservation was made) only to find that a room as I requested was not available. The hotel staff did absolutely nothing to try to rectify the problem and I was forced to take whatever non-smoking room they had available. The hotel blamed this error on Orbitz, which was infuriating given the circumstances. As a result of this experience, I will have considerable doubts booking future trips through Orbitz and/or the Ramada line of hotels.

Hotel is in a location in downtown Hollywood. Hotel wasokayif your looking for a 2 star. this was rated as A-4 star. hotel has not been refurbished in 50 years. old dilapidated elevator. this is not a hotel it is a motel with 6 floors. The next time i will never use their service again.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance within many great restaurants and bars in the downtown Hollywood art deco district. It is an older property but has been refurbished. Our room was clean and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. No complaints at all. The overnight parking fee was only $3.95 per night and it is self-park. Very convienient to US Route 1 and I-95. If you need to be in the Hollywood area I definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the online travel website price.

This location was great because we had to hit 95 for everything and we were able to do just that. The room was kept clean and the daily breakfast was a plus, my only concern please offer a better variety when it comes to breaksfast, after the third day were were a little tired of eating the same thing though - Ms. E was so pleasant when sitting us at our favorite location.

Everything was pleasant at this hotel. Great location, good restuarants, and the beach was not too far. I was here on business and I had such a relaxing experience. Loved the bedroom - housekeeping was excellent. Overall, loved it. Most definetely will be returning.

Room very attractive, comfortable and clean and the location was excellent. No comment. The hotel was much better thanI anticipated. The building and room were very attractive and comfortable. Staff had a very pleasant and helpful attitude. The location could not have been better for a little shopping, eating and walking.

The staff was very professional and helpful. The room was not something to brag about. The bathroom was unsanitary, I guest housekeeping forgot to clean the toilet. I didn't notice the bad cord on the iron and when I used it. The iron, iron cover and ironing board caught on fire. What a scare. Thankful the staff acted immediately to resolve the problem. I do recommend this hotel because of its location and staff but it won't be my first choice in the future.

First the bad news: We were charged 3.95 per night to park in the parking garage of our own hotel. Shouldn't that be included? Then, on the last day, when we asked for a late checkout at 1:30 instead of 11:00 so that we could fit in a snorkeling trip before our plane, we were told that we could either store all of our stuff in the bellman's closet or pay 50 for an extra half-day. We had to race back up to the room and frantically stuff everything into our suitcases and rouse my wife's mother who wasn't feeling good and race downstairs to the car then drive like maniacs to make the boat. Again, an opportunity for them to provide a little SERVICE which doesn't cost them anything, but they chose not to. The room wasn't dirty, but it wasn't as clean as it could be, either (dust on the shelves, hairs on the bathroom floor after housekeeping was done). Now the good news: The hotel is located right in the middle of the downtown Hollywood area, which has many shops and clubs and ethnic restaurants within walking distance. It is also centrally located between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. It's about 15 minutes to the airport or to Hollywood Beach, which is much less crazy than the Miami beaches. The breakfast lady was very nice. The baggage guy was very helpful with directions and local attractions. The pool looked nice, but we didn't check it out. Four pillows per bed was a plus for me.

This is a great motel in a great location. Close to the beach but doesn't have the price of the beach motels. The staff was great!!!

The staff was pleasant enough...The door didn't close properly; there was a gap along the top. The room smelled of smoke, all of our clothes smelled of smoke even when we used fabreeze...The room felt moist, wet...all of our clothes were damp...but it is in the art district. If you are a college student who doesn't care then this will work for you.

This hotel is in an awsome location, you are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and parks. The room could have been cleaner. The refrigerator had a white ring around it on the carpet, which tells me that they don't shampoo the carpeting very often. The concierge was very friendly, but called me a van service to take me to Port Everglades that cost me 90, when it should have been much less! Make sure you check the cab price before you get in!

Located in a wonderful spot with the Hollywood Blvd shops in the immediate area and the beach only about 2 mi away. No problems getting around the area.

Cheap overnight parking (less than $4). Dirty general public space.

For a room with two queen-sized beds, priced below US100 per night inclusive of breakfast for a family of 4, this hotel is more than a very good pick. A good work out in a well-equipped gym followed by a few laps on the rooftop swimming pool makes for a really nice stay. Whilst the hotel is conveniently located in a very vibrant surrounding of Cuban, Irish, Italian, French and Arabic cafeterias and/or pubs, it is also strategically facing the nice and quiet part of the main street, thus, providing at the same time that much needed quiet and privacy that a usual hotel resident craves for.

It was dirty, old, in a poor part futon and noisy. It is not convenient to Airport or Port. It was old, smelled funny, noisy, in a old part of town. The neighborhoods is running down and may business vacancies. I am sure there are many other choices for 20 dollars more that will give a much better value or experience. This hotel should have the lowest star.

great location. Many good restaurants in easy walking distance. Close to Ft Lauderdale airport
