one night stay for business. Room was good value

Location. Room was above a loud bar. Good location and overall cleanliness of the room was alright.

In 1992 I stayed a week at this location before it was managed by Ramada Inn, and at the time it as appalling. When I arrived in Cleveland and realized this was the same place I was horrified, but at 11:30 PM and a prepaid reservation I felt I had no choice. Do not stay there, do not be deceived by the name Ramada. The bathroom sink still doesn't drain, the light shines in around the door letting in the cold air and it still is dingy and smells dirty despite the Ramada furnishings. Oh yes, the onsite Bar Froggies is still there too.

The room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Check in and chech out was very simple and efficent. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The motel was older and showed its age but the service more than made up for that . The location was perfect and provided easy access to all points. We would stay there again.

A gentleman named [...] picked me up at the hotel and he was absolutely fantastic! The morning front desk staff that day were great; However, the evening front desk person wasn't that accommodating. She did not want to book me into a king size room as I requested when I made the reservation on line. She stated that "the reservation just makes sure that I have a room, not the type of room that I would get." Now the room they wanted to put me in was "nice" but I requested a king size bed. The location of the hotel was not good for me. I wasn't familiar with the city of Cleveland so I didn't know what I was getting myself in to. The shuttle did offer o take me to the "Rapid" train station though. As with any business it simply depended on who was working-that determined the kind of service that was provided. Overall the hotel was "okay." I would not stay at this hotel again however.

The sheets on the bed were not changed and were dirty. Used bar soap and shampoo left in shower. Would never stay again nor recommend to anyone else.

It was very clean (except carpet), good location. Overall it was fine for a two night stay. The outside looked dumpy and the carpeting looked dirty. Not extravagant but clean and sufficient for our needs for that trip. I wasn't impressed or disappointed. There is a bar/grill on one side of the hotel and I'm glad we were on the other side.

Stayed in this hotel several times in the past without incident. We arrived prior to check-in time. The clerk told me I could get the room key & the room would be ready within the hour. Returned 5 hrs later, room wasn't cleaned. Went to the desk to get another room. Went to the room, the bathroom sink was still dirty (makeup packs were there and the conditioner bottle was open). I noticed that the blankets were dirty, there were strands of long black hair on the pillow. Asked for the room to be immediately cleaned and was told that it would happen. I then left and came back 3 hrs later to the same mess. When I called the desk I was told that the maid had reported that she came to the room, cleaned it and spoke to me. Not true. I demanded another room. When I received the next room, I noticed that the door latch was broken. The clerk's response was "no one told me that." I asked for the manager and was told that there wasn't a manager on site. He works two jobs so he needed to leave for his 2nd job. By that time, I was exhausted so I stayed the night. I was there 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. When I asked the clerk why the room wasn't cleaned, I was told that they don't clean the room for "stay overs." They just straighten up and replace the towels. My dirty towels were never replaced during the stay. I had to ask for clean towels. Left several msgs for the mgr. He never called. Saw him at checkout. He promised to refund 50% to travelocity but would not give me written documentation.

I am truly not a negative person. I booked this room for 2 nts. as my husband & I were on business. We arrived around 8:30 PM and found a very outdated, run-down room. There was no headboard and holes in the walls where it used to be!!!! The sink drain was in pieces, the edges of the floors had not been swept and there were no coffee cups. 2nd day, no hand towels or shower mat. The ice machine didn't work and they only had the one. After a long day at the IX center show, our card did not work to get in the room. The desk clerk was playing kick ball with his friends out in the driveway! Second card didn't work either. Again, the clerk outside! The place is one of the oldest Ramadas we've been to. Reminded us of days when he first went into business and we had to stay at Days Inns!! Don't believe the positive reviews on here - they absolutely have to be made up. The one that made me sure was the where the review said it was like brand new inside and out!!! The exterior hallway is rottinig old carpet, our room reaked and hadn't seen a face lift in many years. Froggies is a dive, who played loud musice till 2:00 am!!!!! It vibrated through our room!!! We'd hoped to have supper there as it was late but we waked in and out. It's more of local hang out for the motorcylce groups. If we had not had to pre-pay, we would've walked out. I would've paid twice as much for a room if we'd known what we were getting this time. I do read reviews and the postive ones helped me decide - don't make my mistake

I was disappointed with the hotel room in general. I requested a room with 2 queen sized beds, but only got 1 queen bed. I requested non-smoking and got a filthy smoking room- The hotel has a bar/louge, which of course my room was above and we could hear the music all night, we had to sleep with the TV on to sleep. The service was friendly, and the breakfast was nice- I would go back, but only if I could get away from the bar and actually get the ammenities that I requested on Orbitz while reserving the room.

it was very convenient to stay her, very close to airport, shopping mall, and restaurants of all kind of food. The staff was friendly, our room was clean, and we left our car there while we were gone on vacation. We came back and found no problems with our car and that was the most important thing we were worried about.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Cleveland Airport West. The room was very clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint we have is that the TV only had about 20 channels, and some of them wouldn't come in because of poor satelite signal. Other than that, a nice place to stay.

Walls apparently a bit thin, could hear a lot of kid noise when they ran on the outside upstairs walkway. A former welfare hotel, it was upgraded to a good place a few years ago.
