I stayed in this Hotel on very warm day, found room very very stuffy, no air condition at all. Although small table fan was there but not enough to lower room temprature. At time of check out I was charged £15 car parking charges which I was not told at the time of check in.

Location. Too warm in room. Pleasant, bright hotel on Brighton beachfront and convenient to Brighton Pier.

The hotel: At the seafront, clean rooms, modern and pure style. Our rate was valueable, the normal rate seems too high.

Although the general decor of the hotel looked tired - the room we had was clean. light and well decorated. The room had a bay window which overlooked an internal courtyard, which was very pleasant. The hotel is situated opposite the beach towards the quieter end of the main promenade and was within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and general entertainment. Our stay was a very pleasant experience and we would come again and recommned this hotel to firends and family.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was immaculate. A lot of amenities and convenient location. Staff was very friendly. Construction was underway on a portion of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were neat, relatively spacious and convenient. The hotel location is right on the beach and is an easy walk to many of the city sights.

rather expensive breakfast! but otherwise a lovely hotel

Room accessed off main corridor via shared staircase and room split level - not very user friendly!Room extremely long and tedious walk from main reception/foyerRoom unbearably hot without heating on - room provided with portable fan so problem known aboutView limited to internal courtyard with common balcony passing window limiting opportunity to ventilate room unless occupied

Remada BrightonHaving stayed at many remada Hotels I thought this would be the perfect choice for a break to brighton as my Boyfriend was in the london to brighton bike ride. The hotel it's self could be lovely but is very old and needs a lot of updating.... and i mean a lot. There was no where to park even though we reserved parking on line, ended up in the local NCP car park that was by no means local. The girl on reception when we arrived at 1.45pm on 20th june 09 was the rudest person I have ever met. We booked a twin room and was given a very small double bed, she changed it but made it quiet clear that she was doing us a favor. As for the parking she stood there and argued the fact that we had a reserved space even though it was on our booking. I would never stay there again. If you wasnt a deacent Remada go to the Maidstone one... Amazing facilitys, lovely food and very helpful staff and it loads cheaper than brighton.

Not so noiseyBest thing about this hotel is that it's on the seafront and near the heart of Brighton's shopping and nightlife yet far enough away that you don't hear noise all night long. Paid £58 for a double room and for Brighton was pretty impressed. Arrived at 5pm and was due to leave before 10am. Got a parking meter space on the seafront just outside and it cost £3!!!!! Which was really good value.

Clean basic room but was slightly cramped.

Terrible hotel. Avoid at all costs - in certain conditions the beach across the road will provide better accomodation! Decor extremely dated and room (located through a warren of corridors) was in my view the smallest budget hotel room I have ever stayed in. If you do stay, I recommend going elsewhere for your breakfast - the breakfast room itself is a windowless hall (in a hotel that is overlooking the sea!) where we were served poached eggs that tasted as if there was more vinegar than water in the pot for poaching. But the thing that really pushed me over the edge was the coffee - served in an attractive plunger pot, but the half tea spoon of coffee grinds at the end of the insipid brown water indicated a hotel conning its guests.

We arrived at around 6.00pm on the Friday evening and the car parks were full but Receptionist and Duty Manager went out of there way to accomodate us.Room was excellent and breakfast good.Would stay again.

Ramada Brighton weekendThe hotel was excellent, our arrival and check in swift and polite, breakfast was wonderful and the rooms very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Ramada. All the staff we met were polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was far enough away from the action to be a peaceful place but also close enough to be a short walk to the heart of it all. The hotel bar was a bit dull but perfectly adequate even if the decor was a little dated. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean with everything you could need. Our room was the smallest on the floor but was still a decent size. I would stay there again.

This hotels biggest draw is its location. It is right on Brightons seafront just around the corner from the eateries in Preston Street.I was only in town for one night I was able to wander along the buzzing promenade in beatiful late spring sunshine both in the evening and the following morning.I was lucky enough to get a parking spot bang outside on the seafront which saved me thr £15 parking charge.Breakfast was all you would expect from a Ramada hotel. My room was adequate if a little small. And there is the phrase that sums this hotel up adequate hotel with a great location.

highly recommendedHotel is in a great location. No fuss booking in. Nice room - although we didnt have a view the room had a sliding french window so you could step out onto a balcony and listen to the sounds of the gulls! Room wouldnt have been good for a longer stay as no drwers or cupboards - but these may have been rooms for short stays. Breakfast was very good. Check out not till 12 noon which is a bonus. Staff were polite & helpful.

Large hotel - reasonable accommodationBooked at a very discounted rate. Just as well because it isn't worth the headline rate. The room was facing an internal well and was very hot even though the weather wasn't. Parking was also a problem being in the centre of Brighton. We were offered secure parking at £15 a day but that was full! We coped parking on a meter which proved to be cheaper (max £9 per day). I would think this is a problem with most hotels in central Brighton. Breakfast was the usula self-service affair and was acceptable.

Have stayed here a couple of times. Hotel is easy to find and the accommodation is good. Only faults I could find were the creaky floorboards in my room (drive you quietly mad!) and the fact that the shower head needed a rub to clear the nozzle.Water hot and plentyful, parking fine, if expensive. Haven't eaten there.

Extremely basic but cleanWe stayed in a twin room which was tiny with two single beds. Extremely basic but most importantly it was clean. You have to pay extra for the wi fi which I hadn't realised. The hotel staff were neither friendly nor informative. However, the buffet breakfast was pretty good. All in all, functional room, clean but basic!

Very Good !!very good value for money as this hotel is right on the sea front ,excellent resturant in the hotel, rooms were very clean and were well equiped , just a bit small, parking is a bit of a problem if you get there late you will have to parking in the multiy story car park which is quite a walk away. Overall very good !!!
