Needs remodeling! Had a no smoking roon but had to walk through the smoking hallway to get there. No elevator so had to carry all my baggage upstairs with 2 trips. Had a thin blanket on the bed so asked for more. Had to wait for shuttle driver to get back from airport since he had the housekeeping key. Went to open the window and the screen fell out. Couch was all sunken in like it was from good will. I would say that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Beginning with a room upgrade to a suite, the service at this airport area hotel was great. The shuttle provides free trips to the airport where Portland's inexpensive light rail system provides easy access to downtown Portland and the region. The bed was great with comfort and linens comparable to more expensive hotels. The room was clean with average furniture and features. There is a good sized pool.

We read the reviews and thought it didn't sound too bad...it was horrible. The parking spaces were really small and the parking lot was poorly lit. The building's siding was falling apart and the sidewalk were uneven. We were lucky to get upgraded to a mini-suite which smelled liked mildew, had blood on the walls in the bathroom, and dirty glasses for use. The shower was hard to adjust from scalding hot to ice cold and the bottom sheet did not fit the bed we were fitting elastic around our head and feet all night long. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is not one that you want to play around in at night. Besides the thin walls and noisy neighbors it was relatively quiet which is the only positive I can say. We will spend more money and stay downtown next time. I wish someone had told me this sooner.

Taking OR BAR exam at nearby PDX Hotel that was booked to capacity. Stayed overnight and was within walking distance the next day. Would recommend for business or family travelers, or locals needing accomodations for overnight stay near PDX.

They upgraded me to a suite, and it helped to set up a playpan for a baby to sleep.

Convenience to airport and excellent staff. Room was too far from lobby andpillows were too hard.

This motel is a good bargain. Clean, courteous, close to airport, parking for $20 while taking your flight, good shuttle even at 3:40 a.m. Sometimes difficult to find especially at night. Will stay again. You may need a map, available at front office, to find your room.

Everything was wonderful. We wanted to spend the weekend in Portland and didn't want to spend over a hundred dollars for a hotel. We quickly found out that that was practically impossible to do in downtown. But after traveling around downtown for a few hours I'm so glad we found a hotel room far away from there! This Ramada was all around great; we booked with Travel online, totally easy. When we arrived the staff was very helpful, the room was totally clean and the bed was comfortable (a little on the hard side, but good). My favorite thing about the hotel was that I felt completely safe leaving my car in their parking lot. Many hotels in Portland insist that you PAY for parking overnight, and for valet service. The Ramada didn't, and I really appreciated that. The room was quiet and we both got a good night sleep, and check out isn't until noon (which I also appreciated). The only other thing I would say is that if you are booking in the summer, try to get a room away from the pool if you can. Through out the day and into the evening there is a lot of screaming and shouting from kids playing in the pool and the sound seems to echo.

Getting to leave in the morning. Nothing, no blankets, no service, had to walk 30 minutes to hunt down someone with a bottle opener, smoke smell in a non smoking hall. Bad.

The glowing comments about this place made it seem almost too good to be true. I booked anyway and, for the price, it's absolutely a terrific value. My room had been upgraded to a mini suite, on the house; the bar had happy hour prices and a very congenial bartender. Would definitely book there again.

I came to the Ramada for a business meeting and was quite surprised! I had stayed a few years before and found that this once ugly duckling hotel has blossomed into a swan! The waterfall at the entrance was very beautiful and the lobby's warm reception was very nice. The room was very comfortable and clean.Tthe staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful with all of my questions about the area. The restaurant food was awesome! I came for business but I saw kids in the pool so I know that the hotel accommodates all kinds of travelers. I definately recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a great stay for less.

The hotel is so big that I guess the staff doesn't have time to help their customers. When I asked them about dining places nearby, I got a rather cold response. I think I know why - the location - there's nothing around this hotel. We then used the computer around the lobby to search for dining options near the hotel and finally had to drive some 8 miles (at 10PM!) to get something to eat! Oh! they have their own "full service restaurant"! When we walked in, there was nobody there except the waiter and we quietly walked out! About the room - when we checked in, they said they upgraded us to a suite, I said thank GOD! But I found nothing different in the "upgraded suite" from the kind of room that I originally booked (a 2 queen-bed room). I stayed in another hotel near cannon beach the previous day and they gave me the room that I originally booked - no upgrade (which is again a two queen-bed room) and we felt that room was much better compared to this "mini-suite" these guys "upgraded" me to. No breakfast?? No kidding! That's true, they don't serve you breakfast. And finally, to buy some milk for my kid in the morning, I had to drive around 4 miles to find the nearest grocery store! Not worth it guys.

I was in town on business, this hotel met my needs. As an economy hotel it was clean had friendly staff & was close to my business meeting. The food was average but enjoyable. I have stayed there before & would stay there again.

Very courteous staff, convenient to the airport and a reasonable restaurant. Book a room away from the pool if you are bothered by evening noise. The "scum" in the bottom of the room drinking glass and the toothpick on the floor next to the bed were the only disappointments of my stay here. Having stayed in many rooms throughout Portland in the past few years, I would be comfortable referring my friends here. Thanks for the great deal, travel website!

The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. We needed to drop off our rental car Thursday night at the airport and be shuttled back to the hotel with a return shuttle to the airport the following morning. Not a single problem!!

The staff was extremely friendly. We liked the in-room kitchen amenities. We were on the second floor. There is no elevator and it was difficult dragging 50-lb. Suitcases up and down.

Weary from lots of hiking &sightseeing that day, was pleased & relieved to get to this hotel. Shuttle right on time, check-in w/o problem, lobby newly remodeled, clean, quiet. Room WWAAAYYY at end of the hallway, but worth the trip. Very spacious, new furnishing, new paint, spotless bathroom. Perfect place if you are coming in late or departing early. Staff was great. Plan to see more of N/W Oregon and I will book those red-eye flights w/o a worry because I can stay here.

The building from the outside looks like the rooms might not be clean, however, I found my room very clean and comfortable. Maybe they need to update to outside appearance. The location was good, but, the hotel itself was hard to find because it wasn't off the main roads and the sign was hard to see.
