I recently stayed at The Grange with my wife - I booked a executive feature room, i wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was, so that was a real bonus! Was very stylish! The weather held up so we were able to make the most of the grounds. Reception were great with local knowledge and bar staff were very friendly and chatty, made us feel very relaxed. Only complaint i do have is that the kitchen make a horrible howling noise when food is ready, perhaps a better system should be put in place. However, this won't stop us returning!

There was a large function on during our stay but it didnt effect us at all which i was very suprised about!Execllent grounds and lovely food, just wish we could have stayed to try out more of the menu. Reception were very helpful giving us maps and directions for our days out. Everything was very personal which i loved, didnt feel like just another guest, we loved it so much we are looking to spend new year there!

Poor LightingThe only complaint I have is that the room was very dark, even with all the lights on. It was too dark to be able to read in bed as the bedside lamps were not directly above the bed but some way to each side.

Very nice hotel but being charged an extra £15.50 each for breakfast is unreasonable.

BreakfastThe hotel was clean and well run. The food from the bar was on the whole good if a little expensive. However, I was far from satisfied with the breakfast. I decided against having any cooked food and ate cereal and toast each morning yet I was still charged for a full breakfast. This is disgraceful and I see as an attempt to claw back the money that I had saved on the booking. I will not make the same mistake again.

Nice hotel, but good improve in some areasWe originally planned to stay for two nights at the hotel, but situation changed and we had to syat an extra night at short notice. the hotel staff were very flexible and helpful with our situation. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly, however the rooms are OK, nothing special and in our first room, the bed mattress was very noisy with springs. Bathrooms again could do with an update - some problems with alternating hot and cold water.Overall though a pleasant hotel in nice grounds

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't up too much, If I'd have payed full price for this, I would not have been happy. The restaurant food was not that good.As for the gym...what gym?? It seems that every hotel gym I visit which has the SEB COE franchise is in serious need of an update. Seriously, I could have mustered together a better gym in my garage.

Hotel had a good location, however coul do with a refurbishment. Room was good quailty and offered value for money.

The hotel did try to phone at a later date and charge us a second time for the room but luckily we had held on to receipts. Once we had established that the error was at the Hotel input end, the issue was brought smoothly to a close. The breakfast was somewhat expensive although they did cater for a breakfast meeting for the guest and another traveller without too much hassle

We were asked by your receptionist was everything ok?My response was that it was very good hotel except we both found our bed really sub-standard and uncomfortable, with aching backs -very unlike either of us.we recieved no response which seemed quite strange! yours sincerely Paul Taylor

The position of the hotel is lovely and meant that you could sleep with the window open for some proper fresh air. The staff were exceedinly helpful (they couldnt do enough for you) and the food really great. However, the room and the common areas could all have done with a good hoover (and clean) and the pool is so tiny it is almost best to call it a large bath.

Good hotel in pleasant surroundings - handy though not too close to the M32. Reception staff friendly and helpful. However, it proved very difficult to order room service in the evening. No one to answer the phone and even reception staff couldn't contact them. Other than that, worth another visit.

This is a very good hotel situated in some very pleasant surroundings. My room was very clean and well decorated. I stay in a lot of hotels and I'm pretty critical, but the Ramada satisfied my high expectations of a 4 star Hotel. There was no noise during the night which allowed me to have a good night's sleep. Food is excellent and staff made me feel very welcome.

Although enjoyed the stay we were slightly disappointed with the leisure facilities. Did not expect such a small pool and changing facilities
