We had a wonderful time. Great location, people were friendly. I loved the view of the Mississippi River.

I picked this hotel because of it's location on the river and ratings that people wrote in. I was looking for a weekend getaway and according to everything on the web, this looked like a perfect spot. When we got to the hotel, the check in staff was VERY friendly and helpful. But it soon went downhill from there. The pool area is ALOT smaller than the pictures would indicate. Though the hot tub was nice. The hotel was overbooked, so they put us in a handicapped room, with the promise of moving us the next day. I thought I'd make the best of it, thinking that they must have an oversized tub and plenty of room. Well I find it hard to believe that room could comfortably allow for wheelchair access, and the tub didn't look any bigger than a regular one. Plus the room had these small flying bugs. One plus for that room was even though it was next to the boiler room, it was surprisingly quiet. The next day, we were moved as promised. It was on the second floor, which I thought would be give us a better view of the river, plus it was a king sized bed room (the other was a full bed, barely big enough for the two of us). There were no bugs,which was a plus, but it was also over some kind of service people entrance and we heard slamming doors and loud talking often. Unless you are a big fan of the casinos (which we are not) and want to go to the buffet, your nearest option for some descent food is 4 exits away! The river view is not particularly pretty and the checkout staff was not very flexible. I had asked for a simple 15 minute extension on the 11am checkout (most hotels that I stay out when I travel have a checkout time of noon) but was told that was impossible due to housekeeping scheduling. So my wife and I hurried as best we could, but did end up leaving the room at about 11:20. The housekeeping wasn't even on our floor by that time so the desk person could have allowed us the extra time, but all she managed to do was add another aggrevation on an over all unspectacul

rainbow hotel is a great place to go and relax. we always stay there for our birthday or annivesary. i would recommend this hotel anytime. we like going to outlet and mall. just which they had a movie theater. the casinos are great america star is the best place to go eat and enterterment.

This hotel said that it had been remodeled and it had - ON THE OUTSIDE. However, the carpets were terrible and the inside paint. The outside looked great and the common areas were nice as well. The guest rooms and hallways need updating. The staff was very nice and the bathrooms and linens were clean. I still feel it was too much of a charge for what we received. The swimming pool was nice as was the breakfast area and the staff was very nice. If they update the interior like they did the exterior, we might stay there again.

Room had 2 two queen beds, very clean and comfortable. Room came equipped with refrig, coffee maker (1 cup), cable tv and free wifi. Casino attached to hotel with grill, very nice and clean. Continental breakfast wasn't the best (cookies and cereal). Will probably stay at this hotel again if in the area.

We had a suite with a jacuzzi for 2 persons. The bed was one of the best that I ever had in a hotel. The food was great. I don't recommend it for children as everything is centered around the casino but for adults it's a real treat.

The Rainbow Hotel and Suites was very comfortable. The staf were helpful and courtious.THE hotel was clean ,the aminities were everhing advertised. oom was spacious . The whirlpooltub was great.The view of the River was great at the hotel and in the resturant it was spectacular. I would recomend to friends and family.

This Hotel did not have an elevator. Other than that our room was satisfactory.

This was the one of the best places I've ever stayed at. For the price the room had many extras (coffee pot, hair drier, etc.) I wasn't expecting. I had a late check in because of bad driving weather and the security staff helped park the big U-Haul in a safe place and kept watch over it. The next morning at check-out in the lobby the self help breakfast was great, and the view of the Mississsippi river was awesome.
