Great hotel in the heart of Siem Reap. Best of all, it doesn't have any other buildings built right up against it like some of those other luxury hotels.

Best hotel experience I've had. Lots of little touches made the stay memorable, like soothing live music in the lobby and pineapple chunks by the pool. Also, lovely swimming pool!

The hotel was built in the 1920s and was recently renovated. Expect an older building in a French Colonial style. The service was amazing, and it was the little details that really made our stay memorable. The hotel is an oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. Service was impeccable.

The hotel exudes old colonial elegance and charm, with traditional settings and a refined nostalgic feel of early 20th century. The old elevator is iconic of the period, beautifully crafted and fully functional - clearly a centerpiece to the luxurious ambiance. The Cambodia staff is very courteous, friendly, attentive to our needs, and always keen on suggesting things we might want or enjoy. Staff takes great pride in learning and addressing us by our names. We stayed in two connecting state rooms. The rooms are very large with high ceilings. Constant replenishment of clean towels, complementary bottle water was impressive. The bathrooms are large elegant and have antique look and feel. The swimming pool is huge - I believe it's an olympic size pool. There is no outdoor jacuzzi but that's ok since the fitness center has all the amenities - jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The location is ideal, literally minutes from all major venues - market, Angkor entrance, downtown, etc. We were there four days / three nights. We hired a taxi to take us to Angkor and around town. We made sure everyday we'd come back to spend at least two to three hours during the day to enjoy the hotel.
