OK but not greatDecent hotel, check-in staff were poor; checking out staff better. Not enough lifts.Room was OK but not brilliant. Bar very expensive-given the competition in the area this hotel needs to improve.

We spent 4 nites at the Radisson SAS and sandwiched in a trip to the Midlands to attend a friends wedding. We're big Beatles fans and this hotel is centrally located to everything we wanted to see. Orbitz saved us a ton on their posted rates. We couldn't be happier with our trip and the deal we got!

WOULDNT STAY AGAINI chose the Radisson after debating back and forth with other hotels which were nice and had leisure facilities. I thought the hotel looked nice and the pool looked great. Also paid for breakfast with the room.My best advice to you is to book elsewhere. On arrival I was told the valet parking was £20 (on website it states £15) and that it was the fault of Late Rooms and not Radisson. The room appeared to be clean but on closer inspection (too much Hotel Inspector viewing) I noticed hairs on the floor in the bathroom, black mould in the shower area and the counter tops had clearly not been cleaned in a good while. The bed was like a sack of spuds. You could feel the springs through the mattress it was so soft. Breakfast was equally interesting. Scrambled eggs resembled runny snot and the smoked salmon was brown around the edges, clearly been on the market for too many days. Well worth the money....NOT. I decided to go to the leisure club with my husband. He used the gym and I swam. The smallest pool I have seen. 1 lap in 10 strokes and I am 5'4".... I went to have a stem session and there was an empty crisp bag and an overwhelming smell of cheese and onion crisps in there. My husband didnt have much better luck having used a machine that was so close to the wall, he couldnt move properly and ended up hitting his head while trying to use it.Complained to front desk about all aspects and all they could say was.....THANKS! No apology, nothing....Next time I will stay in the serviced apartments for 1/2 the price!!!

Couldn't find a more helpful hotelThe standard in this hotel was excellant. We had travelled to the hotel for a special occassion and had requested a double room. On arrival to the room it was a twin which we went straight down to reception to ask if we could be moved which they did straight into another twin room. We explained that this also was a twin room and they agreed with such willing to change it to a double, unfortunatly though the bed would not zip together. To apologise they moved us to a business class room and gave us a complimentary breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. Lovely hotel with excellant helpful staff.

CleanlinessThe telephone had obviously not been dusted for some time and the general cleanliness wasn't to the standard I would expect from a hotel like this.

Good value weekend breakThis was a great value weekend break in a decent quality hotel. The trips was only marred slightly by the numerous groups of hen and stag parties who were obviously also attracted by the cheap weekend rates. The huge lobby meant that the sound of revellers returning home echoed around the building causing some disturbance to sleep.

Funky fabulous...The Radisson is very modern. The decor hits you when you walk in. The white bar has cool little sitting room areas and is very comfortable. Food is a bit pricey but you pay for the surroundings. The room...we had the red room was wow factor....loved it when we walked in and enjoyed comfy beds and uber-cleanliness. The pool and spa was lovely and the Jacuzzi was nice and hot. The Italian restaurant was cool..lovely decor but a little over-priced. I thought the breakfast was very expensive at £15 a head. The receptionist was lovely and very friendly and because we didn't eat much at breakfast knocked one off for us.All in all would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great two days. It's also very close to Albert Dock and the centre so loads to do.

Avoid the Bar!Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location but not too far from city centre. Rooms were furnished with the all basics and cleanliness was of a good standard. Selection on buffet breakfast was adequate, although some items tasted a bit bland.Due to the proximity of the numerous bars around Liverpool city centre I would advise against drinking in the hotel bar, as they served the most expensive round of drinks we have ever had and at more than double the price we had paid earlier for the same round of drinks in another bar.

Really good quality hotelGreat hotel for a weekend away. Really smart rooms, well maintained and good customer service. Really unusual building design; the entire building has a central atrium so a really light airy feel to the whole hotel. Be aware vertigo sufferers if you have a room on the ninth floor! Try and get a river facing room as you get a fab view. Breakfast was fine - usual choice of cooked food but also had cold meats, etc. and good choice of cereals and varieties of bread. There was a big wedding reception on the night we stayed but we weren't disturbed at all by noise which was great. Quite a distance from the city centre if you're walking into town for the night. Takes about 15 minutes. We also ate in the hotel's restaurant which was fine if slightly pricey. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience.

room serviceThe quality of food we received was poor considering the price, the burger was burnt and this cost us a total of £16.00 which was dissapointing

Great ValueI stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights on a business stay, checked in very late and there were no problems at all. The room had all the facilities you'd want. I had room only so can't comment on the breakfast or food in general. The gym & pool facilities were great, pretty quite and more spacious than some hotels. There is a public car park 50 meters from the hotel which cost about £12 per 24 hours which is a cheaper option than the valet parking. The only slight downer was the bed wasn't the most comfortable, felt more like a holiday inn express bed than a marriot, but £75 a night all in all i was very pleased and would stay there again. Hope this helps.

Totally Rad!Good sized room. Clean, tidy and well furnished. Liked the innovative, modern feel to the design of the hotel. Great features such as the ice machine on each floor.

Well located for city centre, clean, friendly helpful staffBooked this on the day on my phone using Laterooms, all went well, the staff were friendly and helpful (the receptionist gave us a map and pointed out some good places to eat). Room was a good size and all facilities worked but picture on TV wasn't that great close up. The hotel doesn't have a car park so you park in a nearby NCP at a cost of £12.50 for 24 hours so factor this in to the cost. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre. Overall a pleasant stay.

MY stayEverything was fantastic. Amazing breakfast. Bar staff very friendly and helpful made us cocktails just from flavours we said we liked and they were great! Evening meal in resturant was quality and different, service was a little rushed but when they got the message we weren't rushing it was better. Would highly recommend.
