When we first arrived the room we were given was a twin, not a double as requested, and was also smelling of smoke, when we had originally requested a non-smoking room when booking it!! We complained and were moved straight away. however, the next room would not let us access pay tv so they sent an engineer up to the room, and he could not fix the tv either, so we were moved yet again. A bit of a hassle, but in the end we had a lovely tme, and the staff always reacted very quickly.

I booked this through laterooms.com and the website kep changing the date of arrival back to the date of booking, i tried many times to change it back to the arrival date and when i finally booked it the confimration went back to the booking date instead and i did not realise and had to pay for the room anyway and could not go down to glasgow or get a refund for my train tickets either. i would not recommend the hotel as they were not interested in helping me or would not put me in touch with customer care and charged me full rate for the room for the wrong date.

Hotel room was lovely, with modern, subdued decor - very restful and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. However would strongly advise aginst eating in the resturant - food was greasy and we were not able to find any potato beneat hthe grease in the plate of "fat chips" we ordered. The steamed green vegetables were overcooked, limp and tasteless and the meat/fish was uninspired and again tasteless (despite the high price tag)

This hotel was a good location in Glasgow right next to the train station. The rooms were clean, but I did think that the beds were very hard and there was no bath, although I was only there for one night so it didn't spoil my stay. I think that this hotel is very much geared to the business guest, the room i think was spoilt by the business desk and pilar in the middle of the room. The hotel is pricey but service was good.

Apart from the event i will describe underneath. I wold have stayed in the hotel again. But this made me change my mind : in the middle of the night there was an emergency evacuation. I think that for some reason there was a power breakdown, so we had a loud message in each room asking us to evacuate the building. There was no light nowhere in the building, which is understandable as there was a power breakdown, don't know what happened to the emergency generator. But there was also no staff to help find the emergency exit. If it hadn't been from the people in the room next to me who had a torch i would have had no idea of where to find the stairs in total darkness, and no staff to direct us. After this was all settle, we never had any explanation nor apologies, nor discount or complimenary anything to make us forget about the poor dealing of this issue. That s not what you'd expect from a company like Radisson. I was in Glasgow for the night, on business, (i work in the nightclub industry), therefor went to bed at 4, got up at 4.30 for this, stayed an hour in thestreet, and went back to bed for an hour before i took my plane. without any apologies. I was in a great mood.If this review could go get to the Radisson, it would be a good idea, as they have a serious issue with security. Apart from this the staff was really helpful but i do think they need some sort of training for emergency proceedures. Best.Virginie Perrault

The food like many aspects of this hotel was excellent, tasty and serve with good timing and service. Prior to evening dinner our drinks were taken to our table which set the scene for a lovely evening. Breakfast again was very enjoyable and to a high standard. The ambience of the restaurant is peaceful, clean and efficient

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Great location too, as Buchanan Street was merely a stones throw away.Just watch out for the revolving door in the reception area, as it has an appetite for devouring suitcases as you pass through! Oh and the touch button lifts also enjoy delivering you to every floor, except the one you want. However, the fab views from the glass lifts more than compensate :-)

Only two negative comments - the TV unit was place in such a way in 618 that the trouser press could not be used, and we could have done with a waste paper basket. But a lovely hotel in a great position
