hotel was okay, but got ripped off by paying for a room with a partial ocean view. when the palm trees blew in the right direction, you could see some water. our room was as far back from the ocean as you can get. we requested another room but they apparently only had a room overlookiing the pariking lot, even though it was only approx 30% capacity. if you book at the radisson, do not pay the extra for this category. looking at the top of palm trees is not a "partial view of the ocean".

stay was okay, but marriott has them beat.... paid for a room with a partial view of the ocean.. got a room with palm trees outside.. if you looked closely you could see the ocean...what a rip off.... ask to be moved.. other option was a room overlooking the parking lot..... came on vacation and didn't want to make a big stink.... but don't pay extra for the room with the partial view of the ocean... this isn't exactly a high rise so there are very few rooms with a good ocean view.... don't even know if any look over the beach...again, don't pay the extra money for a room with a partial view of the ocean... our room was as far back from the ocean as you can get....perhaps if we booked it direct, we would have gotten a better room...aruba is definitely the place to go. have been doing it for many years..first time and probably the last time at the radisson.

Without a doubt, the Radisson has the BEST beach location - more palapas, not as crowded as the other hotels, amazing beach staff, clean and beautiful pool, beautiful grounds (trees, waterfalls, lagoons, parrots etc) - i don't have one complaint. I am a picky traveler, and after going to all of the other hotels, the Radisson was the best for your money. The Hyatt had great ambiance inside of the hotel and a great casino, but that was the only plus to that one - the beach wasn't as good as the Radisson beach by any means. SO just gamble at the Hyatt or the Marriott if you like to, but stay at the Radisson. As for the traveler who said rooms were musty and moldy - you are at a BEACH, it's not perfect, but they do a great job. Very clean, good food and so on. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. I would recommend El Gaucho for dinner - amazing steak!

I've been to Aruba before but this was my first stay at the Radisson. It won't be my last. Nice room, beautiful view and the friendliest staff. Gilligans for lunch is the best!

We only stayed 1 night, had to change hotels, both rooms we tried were not 4 star. The were very musty and moldy smelling, which effected my sinuses immediatly. The rooms are so small it is hard to not bump into things. The grounds and pool were beautiful and the staff was very helpful even though we moved to the Westin. We did try the buffet for dinner. Go somewhere else to eat.
