This hotel was awful. Check in was with a nice enough person. But that was the only nice part of the whole experience. Got into our smoke filled nonsmoking room to find awful beds, flat pillows. Went down on sunday morning for breakfast. It was expensive, cold, staff was rude, told me we "ate" some (about a bite of each) therefore had to pay. So we did. The nastiest stuff for * dollars + a person. I will NEVER stay at this facility again. There are super 9 motels that are nicer than this place. Oh, and I did mention this to the manager in the morning at check out. He didn't care. He allready got my money.

The hotel room itself sufficed as a clean place to sleep - didn't intend to spend a lot of time there. Room was not sound proof.

My wife and I took our daughter to school. When we checked in the lobby was nice. Not 3 stars nice. The staff was kind and helpful. Went up stairs and our non smoking room smelled of smoke. Advised staff, they were kind, apologized and advised us we couldnt change rooms due to them being full. The carpet was coming apart, the beds sank in the middle, the pillows so over used they had no support. The furniture was damaged, and looked like it came from a second hand store. I have stayed at Motel 6 that looked and smelled better.

The hotel is very nice on the inside, not as nice on the inside - so its a happy surprise. The sleep number beds are great, but the air conditioner in the room was super loud. It was also frustrating to pay $10 for a breakfast buffet that was not very impressive. Overall though, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was not difficult to figure out how to get around. Plus there is a conveniently located bus stop that takes you straight to downtown!

I read the reviews before booking my trip, and found the hotel to be much more. The hotel was a jewel i enjoyed the convient location to everything. the staff was wonderful and friendly, even the lounge and dining area were staffed with cordial good humored people. i could not ask for a better stay. i had guess that lived in Austin they saw the hotel during construction and could not believe how nice it was. The bed was pure heaven. the bar tender mixed some of the best drinks i have ever had. The front desk staff were real pros. i left something in my room upon checkout. they were all to happy to get me back in the room as the housekeeping was right next door.

The room was in good shape and staff was nice. Everything worked and sleep number bed was fantastic. I would have liked a bigger bathroom but other than that no complaints.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and the lobby area was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. Comfortable room but a little rough as far as maintenance goes. The public areas are very clean except the pool area, it seemed quite neglected.

The button to the front desk did not work. I had to call them from my cell phone to tell them the movie channel did not work. They promptly fixed it. The sleep number bed was awful. It was like sleeping on an air mattress.

The hotel building is lovely. The hotel staff was nice. The attitude of the restrant staff could use a lot if improvement, the bartender was extremly rude, therefore for the 3 nights we were there, we ate elsewhere! The a/c water is all on the floor of the balcony, which make it hard to enjoy that feature.

Overall, this renovated hotel was nice. For renovation to be outstanding needs more attention to details like back doors, broken patched tiles, leaking toilets.

Very nice hotel and great for the price, very friendly staff, from front desk all the way down to maid service. If all hotels stressed this kind of hospitality traveling would not seem like such a burden.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were pretty nice and appeared new although the common areas were kind of old looking.

The hotel is conveniently located near I-35 so it's close enough to UT or Downtown. It is quite clean, the employees are friendly, there is a kiosk to print boarding passes, they have sleep-number beds. The rooms are fine. Nothing updated about them. There is nothing in the surrounding area, i.e. restaurants or shops. you wouldn't walk around the are but everything is a short drive away.

Beds were not comfortable, unless you like the sleep number version. Staff was not helpful except for bare minimums, they are unprofessional. Hard to find from freeway. Didn't feel like it was a safe area. The frills were in the free parking outside and one in room bottled water free daily. Not what you'd think from a 4-star ranked hotel. It feels like a 2.5-star hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was great, but it is hard to get to the hotel from I:35 am and as equally difficult to get back on I:35 am.

Hotel rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. Nice and convenient for the business trip I was on. Not a bad distance from the downtown Austin area. Parking lot was well lit.

It was clean, comfy and relatively close to all the areas of interest to my family. The service was friendly and most amenities seemed adequate. The gym was not very accommodating. Only had treadmills, elliptical, a yoga ball and floor room to stretch. Needed a Bowflex or similar space conserving weight lifting unit. Swimming pool was clean and sufficient for cooling off or taking a dip, water aerobics but, not for swimming. Breakfast not included. Overall, not a bad hotel.

Did not clean room first day, would not provide clean towels, second day clean room, but did not leave shampoo and soap. Seemed bothered when asked for anything.
