This was my first stay in Japan. I was expecting the rooms to be small, and they were. They were very clean and the bathrooms were just fine. The big pluses for me were: 1. for the most part, the staff was VERY helpful in ensuring we were on the right bus and furnishing maps and info for an excursion into Tokyo, 2. They have free, clean, comfortable buses to and from the airport, to and from Narita, and the hotel is a stop for a hiway bus to and from Tokyo Train Station. CONS: the restaurant is VERY expensive. Cannot critique their food because we chose to eat snacks in the room to save costs.

The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was wonderful. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you want to remain close the the hotel.

The hotel was okay overall. Location was very bad, it was like in the middle of nowhere. Travel to other places was quite difficult. If you are gonna stay there, a few days is fine other than that you need to look somewhere else. It seems like the hotel specifically caters to pilots and crew member, so you don't feel taken care of.

We needed a good place for one night. The Radisson Hotel Narita proved to be just that. The van used that night was a 9 or 10 passenger instead of the full sized coaches they have parked at the property. It was full, but the driver was courteous and drove safely. Ironically, the next morning we were on a full coach with over 50 seats with only 4 people going to the airport! The van ride to/from the airport was nearly 30 minutes, not exactly what we were expecting from an "Airport" hotel, but any mis-feelings we had disappeared when we got to the hotel. The property itself was very nice. We wish we had more time to explore the grounds that were beautifully landscaped. Looks like a great place to walk around outside. The restaurant had excellent choices at reasonable prices and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The room was very nicely appointed and QUIET! We will stay here again gladly.

Large comfortable room (especially for Japan), good bed, very clean overall, and competent, helpful desk staff. Free shuttle from/to Narita Airport, and an alternate (pay) bus to central Tokyo. WONDERFUL crystal-clear 25 yard long lap pool is a great way to come down from that long trans-Pacific flight. Only drawback is no easy restaurants nearby, and hotel restaurant is expensive. KLM and other flight crews stay here.

Though not excellent location, the transportation is very helpful. Too far from other hotels and civilization. Nice, clean and friendly. Only the location is too far from the others.

Probably the worst experience I've had with a condescending desk clerk and a patronizing manager. (It also didn't help much that we witnessed another customer loudly complaing about the desk clerk's attitude later in the day.) Thank goodness for the bellhop and cafe staff who appeared to be more adept at customer service and were actually quite professional and nice. It would be most helpful for the desk staff as well as the management staff to go through some customer service inservices, especially one addressing not making assumptions that their clients can be bullied or intimidated if their Japanese is not perfect. She backed of fairy quickly when I began speaking in English, my primary language. Perhaps they could access the program which the desk staff in England receive, as we did not experience any such difficulties during our stays there. Definitely a "Never Again" experience.

Radisson Hotel, with its lovely landscape grounds and plush beds, is a welcome retreat near Narita Airport. The hotel is convenient to the airport and to the charming Narita town center. Clean rooms, complemented by professional, English speaking staff all make this a good value and a popular airline crew hotel. The full service restaurant provides an extensive breakfast buffet or a la carte items. My favorite part is the accessibility of public transportation. Not only does the Radisson provide convenient transfers to NRT airport, but city buses provide scheduled (and comfortable) service to Narita train terminal/city center and to downtown Tokyo right from the hotel's front door.
