Date of Stay:

Hotel is relatively new, with nice large rooms and Sleep Number Beds (at least in our rooms, and is located right by the highway, which is very convenient if you come with a car (20 min. to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms had no fridge/minibar, internet (cable, no wireless) was quite slow, and the bathroom in one of the rooms was not as clean as it should have been.

Really disappointed with services, especialy the front desk.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you have a car and want to avoid public transport. It requires a very long walk or taxi followed by a lengthy tube/tram journey (with change) to get downtown. The wrong side of town for the airport. Really just a conference hotel.

I stayed here for family function in October of 2007 and again in 2008

Room and hallway carpets were stained and smelled terrible. A/C did not work. Was told that the hotel is on a central a/c system, even though every room has it's own thermostat. It was very hot and uncomfortable. Reserved and paid for king room, got 2 queen beds. Was told since I booked on-line, the room choice could not be guaranteed. I was guaranteed A room-not the roomed I booked and paid for. Staff courteous, but did not care about fixing any of the problems brought to their attention. Breakfast staff avoided eye contact with customers, so the service was terrible. Food was very greasy. Bathroom was tiny and dirty. This hotel needs a big makeover to live up to the Radisson brand. Very telling was at checkout, I was not asked if I enjoyed my stay. This is the first time ever staying at a hotel or motel that I was not asked if I enjoyed my stay. The only positive comments are the ice machine is great and so are the beds. Book anywhere else but here.

just didn't like it

The beds are comfortable. Very poor service, dirty and old rooms.

Excellent staff and friendly atmosphere more than make up for it's location - about 25 mins from Toronto CBD by taxi ( no shuttle service from airport as they only service downtown locations ) this costs about 60 dollars. Definately need a vehicle when you stay there.

I had my wedding here in July and the hotel staff helpful and accomodating. Guest rooms were more than I expected.

Staff at the hotel are very nice! We espcially enjoyed the new ""sleep number"" beds!! Room service was great too! Hotel is right off the freeway...easy to get to.

Very customer friendly, i felt like i was family while i was there. I would stay away from the breakfast bar though-not good. The rooms were generally very clean but there are smoking rooms and the smell would travel through the vents! They also have sleep number beds-that was a plus. Its a step up from a howard johnson-step below holiday inn

Rooms were large and nicely appointed. Bed was very comfortable! Location of hotel.

I wanted to be near the city centre whereas the location of this hotel was a 45 minute taxi ride from downtown - not a good choice for me!!! There are very few amenities in the area around the hotel and you will need a car or depend on taxis.

The Hotel itself is more for business class stays. They were very friendly to us as a family and treated the children with great respect. THe overall experience was affected by the courteous and friendly staff. The location was perfect for experiencing Downtown Toronto and nearby locations with little trouble or time. We were even offered a car if we didn't want to deal with the traffic. Compared to previous trips with children, the staff was by far the biggest enjoyment.

High speed internet access. Garbage can wasn't empty. Failed to deliver coffee filters when asked. I felt like I was travelling in India when I was staying at the hotel. The manager, the front desk, the bus boy, the houskeeping staffs were all Indian. In a multi-cultural city like Toront, they should hire staffs from different ethic group, even though the owner is Indian.

Nice hotel, convenient location, very reasonable price

The only nice thing was they had 2 computers in the lobby that you could use for free. Beds were horribly uncomfortable & it literally took over 5 minutes to get hot water from the shower. Would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone. As I said, the only good thing was the free computer use on the lobby computer (if no one else is using it) and there was a complimentary bottle of water in the hotel room. Other than that, not very impressive. Beds were uncomfortable, shower water took forever to get hot, bathroom was very tiny, the restaurant is not open for lunch - it opens at 5pm and when I went in for dinner I ordered minestrone soup. It was taking a long time to come to my table so the waitress finally told me that they make it from scratch so I forgave the long wait, but when I finally got the soup, I could literally count the vegetables in the soup, I think there were 2 beans, 2 tomatoes, and a few pieces of corn. In other words, it was basically broth with about 6 pieces of vegetable thrown in. It was definitely not worth the $5.00 or more I paid for a tiny cup. Also, no free shuttle to the airport.

The room was big and confortable but it didnt have fridge and microwave, one can request microwave for an extra charge. Hotel provides free car parking but there is no wi fi on second an third floors.I requested for a microwave for one night but late while checking out when I showed my dissappointment for extra charge, the hotel staff waved it off.The main highlights are good staff and free car parking.

Hallways dirty, poor lighting, plumbing in room leaked.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by very efficient and friendly staff. Our room was like any other hotel room however the sheets were sparkling white and crisp clean like no others I've seen. The adjustable mattress that we could adjust to our desired firmness was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, very clean and good shower pressure. The breakfast brunch (included with our room fee) was excellent and the staff were very attentive to providing us with hot coffee and clearing the plates. The only down side of the hotel was that it was a bit far from the city. We opted for dinner at a nearby restaurant which was suggested to us (and advertised in the hotel brochure in the room)and it was great. We didn't use the pool and had to ask where it was since there were no signs or indication of the pool and its hours. Disappointed in the jacuzzi. You definately need a car if you stay here. I would definately stay here again and advise others to stay here.
