I have always had a good experience at a Radisson, no matter where it is. The one in Downtown Salt Lake City maintained the same high standards I have seen in other Radissons. The room was clean and comfortable. They have "sleep number" beds and outlets for hooking up a laptop. The shower head was high enough for anyone along with plenty of water pressure and hot water. Those visiting the Family History Library will like to know that this hotel is only a block and a half away - about a 5 minute walk. It's also a close walk from a mall with plenty of restaurants. There's no airport shuttle to this Radisson - only the one at the airport. The Cab ride was about $23. The staff were very courteous and helpful, with photocopied maps of the immediate area. They have a commissary/gift shop with various toiletries and other travel necessities.

A nice place to stay. It needs a little enphasys in customer service. I forgot a cable last Sunday and the operator did not take my request with the proper importance, she kept transfering me to the security, without making sure someone was going to pick up my call. I had to call several times Sunday October 26th in the evening.

I was only here for one night, so this might not be the best review. I got a call from the front desk checking on me to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything, which I thought was nice. The hotel was in a great spot if you need to visit the Convention Center or go to a concert at The Depot, 2 blocks away. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. No bad smells. I will stay here again if I go back to Salt Lake City.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the time we did spend it was ok. The one thing that up set us was that we got put in a room with two double beds and since we were going to celibrate our aniversary it sucked.

The rooms were nice and clean but not fancy. We had to pay for parking and there was no free breakfast of any kind! It was a nice hotel in the downtown Salt Lake City area. We had to pay for parking which I think is unnecessary for paying guests. The area is not that busy to justify making hotel guests pay for parking, especially when there are plenty of other nice hotel within a few blocks that offer free parking and free breakfast which also was not offered at this hotel.

"The hotel is a bargain at the quoted room rates. What they don't tell you is that the parking garage (the only available option as far as I can tell) is an additional $10 a night. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know it."

"Excellent, clean hotel, courteous and friendly staff. No vending machines though, and too much chlorine in pool. Location doesn't get any better!!!!! I have a big truck and did not fit in the parking garage, and the spaces reserved for trucks over 6' high were taken by cars. Had to park in the hotel van space!"

The SLC Downtown was very nice. I really liked the comfort controlled beds. I did not feel I should have to pay for parking. I believe this should be included with the stay. The staff was very pleasant, they went out of their way to find me a newspaper from earlier in the day and accommodating in every way.

Right next to the salt palace, and in the heart of downtown salt lake. $10/night parking. Great location. You don't even have to cross the street to get to the salt palace hotel.

"I stayed yet left wishing I had stayed @ the Hotel Monaco instead (again). I wasn't greeted coming in except by valet & stood in line for a good 15mins even though I had express c/in. In addition, HK didn't change out sheets & were not suffcient. As a rep for Condominium I expected more and would think twice before staying here."

The Radisson in downtown Salt Lake City has staff bending over backwards to assure your stay is the best it can be. Check in was very expedient and the desk clerk had all my answers to any question I had. When things went array at dinner, the waitress took it upon herself to contact the manager to talk with us before we experessed our concerns. The restaurant manager then handled the problem to our satisfaction. The room was very well kept and extremely clean. My only downfall was the sleep number bed which I could not get comfortable. There was plenty of room even with two beds, recliner, and table. Internet connection was easy to obtain anywhere in the hotel. The closeness to all the downtown venues, salt palace and the arena which are both within a block, made the stay easy for me.

"My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The price was fantastic and it was very clean and comfortable. There is a big indoor pool and spa. Even though description said there was not a fridge or microwave, we did have a fridge and the front desk said they were in process of putting them in all the rooms. Nice rooms and bathrooms, a little noisy in the hall but not horrible. Cleaning came at 9 am-needs to be later! Definitely recommend."

The Radisson, Salt Lake City, Temple Square, is very convenient to all major attractions in SLC, including the Delta Center (now the ENERGY SOLUTIONS CENTER, OR RADIUM STADIUM) as well as the popular Gateway Mall. The price was right, the rooms clean and comfortable with Sleep Number beds. There is free wireless internet, which I consider a prominent PLUS. I will use them again.
