There was no management on property. My room was never cleaned and the housekeeping was BAD>>> I have sent letters and tried to contact the management but no response. They keep saying they are moving to a Marriot, but they have a long ways to go...

Bed linens were nice, bathroom was clean bedside phone broken, bedside lamp broken, television broken but repaired the second day We returned to our room a little after 10:00 pm on Saturday and the door was wide open. NOT unlocked but open. That was not good. We crept inside and turned the light on. When we reported it to the front desk that night AND the next morning it was met with a shoulder shrug and "yea, those doors don't always close"?! Sorry

Stayed here for a few days and was amazed at the quality. It really is a great place. Its close to Texas Tech and the rooms are great. The first night we had a small problem with the key to the room not working, but that problem was resolved pretty quickly. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I have a tax-exempt form and the hotel would not accept it because, the reservation was done through a third party. I was very disappointed the hotel would not accept the form.

Parking right by my room, and location. The pool was not open. The Madison is a very beautiful hotel complete with restaurant and lounge located conveniently by the civic center and with easy access to all Lubbock has to offer. The friendly and helpful staff and the beautiful building make for an excellent stay.

We moved our son to college this week. We really enjoyed our stay--it was relaxing, quiet, and relieved a lot of stress. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! We will stay here again in September for the Tech football games! Even the road construction nearby didn't bother us. Thanks for a welcome pleasant experience!!

This may be the nicest hotel in city of Lubbock. They do not offer dinner in the restaurant. However this is not a problem as there is plenty of decent restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the Micro Brewery/Steak house on Buddy Holly street about a mile from the hotel. As you can see from my records I stayed at the Radisson again on 1/6/09. Texas Tech University is also very close to this hotel.

The rooms were very nice and very nice bedding, decorated nicely. The pool was not open for use.

Arrived at 12:30 AM Sunday, believe it or not our room was not ready! When we got up to our room at 1AM, it was a King single instead of our confirmed Double. Room was still dirty. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned and waste cans still full. I went down to the desk to complain. They told me they were no longer a Clarion property. Now called the Lubbuck Inn. Staff was unresponsive and could have cared less serving us. Asked for additional bed linens for the pull out sofa for my son to sleep on. They said they didn't have any more linens. Next morning went to breakfast. Breakfast bar was empty. We walked across the street to a pancake house. It was great! If it wasn't for incoming students & families of Texas Tech booking all the hotels in Lubbock, I would have packed my bags and left. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. They have some serious management and staff issues to work through if they want to stay in business. The sad fact is we weren't the only family effected.

I liked the location related to my work, but unsafe area. Is not maintained to the standards of a 3 star hotel. Older not well maintained. While my stay was okay, not what I have come to expect from a 3 star hotel. Restaurant did not have convenient times, rooms are not well maintained. Bedding was good and I was comfortable in my room.

Great place to stay, we were there to move our child into the dorms at Tech. Easy to find, Wal-Mart accross the street, campus just down the road a little bit. Would definately recommend this hotel.

We were allowed to check in early, after it was verified that our room had been serviced. The lobby staff were younger than expected, and FAR more professional and friendly than expected. This Raddison hotel was comfortable, with the sleep comfort beds, fridge, and microwave a welcome surprise. The room was clean, with no noticeable odors (even artificialy fresh). When the road construction in the area are completed, this will be a nicer location, especially coming from the airport.

The hotel is very convenient to the university and the staff was very helpful. Very dusty. This hotel was only for one night. The beds were excellent (very comfortable). The bathroom was clean, but the floor needed vacuuming.

The hotel was nice. It was an older hotel, but had been upgraded. The indoor pool added nice decor. Our room was right outside the pool. Very good value for the money.

None. Shower was dirty and drain did not work. This hotel was just like a big Days Inn Motel.
