Checked in and went through 3 different rooms before settling for one. first one no fridge (needed one for daughters bottled milk),2nd NO working fridge, 3rd REALLY BAD SMELL like mildew, smoker? not sure AND no working fridge-finally the 4th was much better no smell and working fridge, but it was A LOT of work up and down with my small child, and luggage! Not even given free breakfast for trouble NOTHING, Also when booked on orbitz said 2.6 miles away from where i needed to be,which is why i booked ended up being well over 5 miles. Dissapointed.OH and not until i got there realized the pool on the roof was closed for remodel.

The swimming pool looked nice but I didn't get to use it. The hall carpeting was filthy and my room reeked of old cigarette smoke and dirt. Curtains were stained and the place felt worn out and dirty. This Radisson was by far and away the worst in the chain. The front desk staff was nice enough, but the whole place is worn out. The carpets in the hall were filthy, the refrigerator would not get cold, the bed uncomfortable & there were stains on the curtains and the room smelled so awful I had to go to a store to buy air freshener to sleep in it.

The Radisson is in a great location in Phoenix! My family and I came to Phoenix for vacation. There backyard is the perfect spot to relax, they have a beautiful garden, great waterfall pools, and wonderful service!

The parking garage is too low, not allowing us to park our truck w/ motorcycle in it. The rooms are very, very small. There was long black hair all over the bedding. The tv is very old and picture is very poor. Housekeeping entered our room even though we had the Do Not Disturb on the door outside.

They said the pools were heated but we were freezing. We did get coupons for the breakfast buffet and the grounds were beautiful. The kids loved it and had a great time. I just wish the pool was a little warmer.

Very convenient to downtown, good accommodations, great backyard. Room was a little small, hall had a strong odor, maybe carpet recently cleaned. It was practically empty, which isn't too unusual for Phoenix in the summer. The staff was very friendly, parking was good. I noticed the landscaping and pool could have used a little more care. I will definitely stay there again. We go to the Valley occasionally for baseball games, etc. and this was a great location.

Everyone seems nice and treaded me very good.

This hotel was centrally located in downtown Phoenix and had easy access to main roads and public transportation. It was a little hard to find at first, since it is 1/2 block off a main road, and has only one very small sign to guide you in. The front lobby was small and a little awkward, but this really wasn't a problem. The front desk staff: some were knowlegable about the area, some were not helpful at all -- but there was only one person on at a time, which caused some delays. The room was really small, but still had everything I needed (tv, coffee pot, hairdryer, iron, etc.) I did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot rate the restaurant or service.

Staff was helpful. No fresh air, stale cigarette smell throughout. Well located but no access to clean, fresh air.

I came to Phoenix for a convention, and the downtown hotels were full, so I stayed here. The room is fine, quiet, clean, free hi speed internet access. There's a pool, volleyball court and playground if you come with kids. Because it's called City center, I thought it would be close to the meeting. However it is FAR from the convention center, about a 75 minute walk one way. You need to rent a car (parking is free at the hotel but not downtown) or take a taxi (about 10-12 one way) to get downtown. Most of the taxicabs smell of cigarette smoke.

When I checked in, the gentleman at the desk was on the phone. I arrived at 6pm and there was only one person at the desk. He was helping another person check in and was dealing with someone on the phone. I waited in line for 10 minutes before he could get to me. He assigned me to my room. I went up and as soon as I opened the door I was overwhelmed with a HORRIBLE odor. I went further into the room to call him at the front desk, but the smell was so strong I could not even get to the phone. I went downstairs to the desk to find the gentleman at the desk on the phone once more. I waited another 10 minutes for him to finish. I told him about the room he had originally assigned me, he notified me that the only room he had left was a room with two double beds and none with a Sleep Number. I was so tired from my travels, that I didn't complain and went to my newly assinged room. I was totally dissatisfied with this hotel. Not only did they not have an airport shuttle and the cab fare was $25, but the overall experience was a nightmare.

Free computer to check email in lobby. The rugs in the hallway smelled and my room smelled like old nicotine. As it was I paid more than others traveling in my group who used the events discount. The area was seedy. I travel to phoenix often so I am aware of the rates.

I stayed at this Radisson cause I knew the name brand. I was very impressed with the staff, the experience, and the overall aroma of this lovely hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Lady at the desk in the morning was very good. Bartendar was verify friendly.

The parking structure was unsafe. There were no lights in the garage.

Friendly guy at check in. Bed worst ever, room smelled, No food, pool dirty, adult bookstore next door adds class! Getting here, you will drive through bad parts of town. Hotel under construction, no food services, pool dirty and over chlorinated (could smell it when you walked outside, 150 feet away). Hardest bed I have ever sleep or tried to sleep on in 30 plus years of business traveling. Room had been deodorized and smelled so strong, gave me a headache. On checkout, TV checkout not working went to front desk, one person at counter, but counter person couldn't even look up. Waited for almost 12 minutes and gave up, handed in my key and left. Not a 3 star hotel just because it has a national name!

Our check in was good, it was late when we arrived and once in our room we realized the air conditioner had a bad oder. The next morning we told the front desk to check it. We were told it would be fixed or we would be offered a different room. The air was checked we were told but never fixed and we weren't offered the other room. We stayed three miserable nights. When we turned our keys in the staff didn't even say thank you. We wouldn't recommend this Radisson to others.

Going under renovation. Room itself smelled of cigarettes though it's a non smoking hotel. Neighborhood does not seem very safe.

I found this hotel to be very convenient to everything. It is very close to the tram once it starts running. The best feature was the lovely garden - very nice place to have a drink at the end of the day. The in-room refrigerator and microwave are a big plus. The staff was very friendly, and the room very clean. My only criticism is that the carpets are getting a little worn.

"The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is definately in the middle of being renovated, but it appears that is is going to be absolutely fabulous when the renovations are completed."

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and the last 2 were horrible. 3 bus loads of guests arrived, all from the same group, and they were extremely disrespectful to all of the other guests. They were screaming, yelling, slamming doors, and running up and down the hallways until the wee hours of the morning. We asked hotel management to do something about it beginning at 11pm, the night before our 6am flight. They kept saying they would, but they didn't do anything affective. It was very disappointing and our trip home was pretty miserable because we were so tired. Then because we got no sleep at all, we inadvertently packed our keys in our luggage and then our luggage got lost so we couldn't go home when we got to our airport--had to get another hotel room. Plus, our fridge was not very cold, now matter what we did, and Sleep Number beds are not comfortable. And ours did hold the air, so we would wake in the morning to a sagging mattress. Very disappointing. Before the noise, everything else was tolerable. We still managed to have a great trip.
