Excellent Hotel, I would highly recommend it to business travellers

Spa and Pool were excellent. Airconditioning did not seem to go to the required level so it remained a little warm. Otherwise very happy.

Whenever we need to stop over we always look for a Radisson and have yet to be disappointed, another fantastic example of how it's done.

Lovely HotelLovely Hotel in the centre of Manchester, the rooms are spacious and clean and well set out. Room service is very good and the breakfast very nice. Gym is a good size with nearly everything a large gym would have and a nice sized pool.

Great Hotel in great locationBooked on late rooms so good price for a very well placed hotel for city centre. Service and clealiness great and although did not eat in hotel; seemed good in house options if you wanted.great welcome.

Lovely hotel, great wet rooms and fanastic pool and spa. Great central Manchester location.Booked on offer with late rooms - would not have paid full price of £150 without breakfast though.Would definitely stay again if another offer came up.

Excellent stayGood location, parking nearby. We stayed after seeing a concert at MEN. Were running late so took a taxi to venue, only cost £5. Afterwards hit Chinatown and then near enough to walk back to hotel and had a drink in the funky bar.Room quiet, beds comfy, great views of the city scape in the morning. Wetroom fine, no complaints at all. staff friendly and helpfu.

Great Hotel For Business Travellers.Bad Points: Hotel seems to cater, more for business people, than couples on a city break. Everyone seemed to be in black suits, constantly talking on their mobiles. The hotel car parking fees, at £35 a night is ridiculous. The NCP car park, around the corner, charged £17, a night, which is still over the top.No real complaints, (apart from the wet room - bad design with insufficient ventilation). Good points: The hotel is situated about ten minutes (walking) from the main shopping centre and bars, but ideally situated for the GMex. The staff were polite and the room was clean. We got a free breakfast, on our late rooms deal - the breakfast was very good.Overall a good hotel, but not really homely enough, for us.

X Factor Weekend 03.07.2009My daughter and myself came to Manchester to see the Live X Factor auditions and from our arrival were made to feel very welcolm. We actually decided to stay on another night and were accommodated with another room without any hassle. All the staff and management were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay here again.

It was our first stay at the Manchester city centre Raddison and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Loved the contrast between old and new.

Manchester viewHaving had a poor experience of hotels I had stayed at previously in Manchester, noisy, food awful, service poor it was with some hesitation when I had to book to attend a conference for two days. I had not used late rooms before but checked it out and read all the reviews. The Raddison far exceeded all my expectations. What struck me first was the excellent front of house staff who couldnt do enough to make sure I could get to my room and settle in quickly. Everyone was very friendly, helping me with my bags, the lift buttons and directions to my conference location. The room was good, lots of space, the walk in wet room in the bathroom a very good addition and all the facilities excellent. Breakfast in the morning was quick and efficient as I had limited time with a good choice. I would definately come here again and be happy to recommend.

Mixed bagI was impressed on arrival to this hotel. Checking in was good, however they had not got the message from late rooms that the room was to include breakfast. The lady on reception added it to the room and I thought that was that. On the first morning at breakfast we had been missed off the list so I had to explain the mistake that had already happened again and eventually we got our breakfast, this also happened on the second day. The customer service at breakfast was a disgrace for a 5 star hotel, their were tables left right next to us with plates etc on them the entire time we ate. The staff were foreign and didn't know how to tidy up or get our order of tea or coffee correct. In all a good hotel but overshadowed by very poor customer service.

Check in and out was slow due to lack of reception staff. Only one on a saturday afternoon! The suite was little more than a large room and not worth the extra (£70) money. Very disappointing! Wierd bathroom set-up as well - sink in the bedroom area, just like the new Premier Inns. It's in a good location and only a 5 minute walk from the main shops and bars. I would stay here again, but only if the Lowry and Midland were full - and only in a normal room.

Manchester weekendBooked a few days before staying here for one night on a Saturday. Hotel was busy but not noisy and the customer service didn't suffer. Impressed with the security measure of needing a key card to access the landing outside the bedrooms aswell as the bedroom itself. Similarly patrons entering later at night were required to show key cards at the front door, presumably to avoid guests holding parties in their rooms which has happened at other places we've stayed. Paid just £117 for two of us with breakfast which alone would have cost us £17.50 each so it was excellent value for money. Didn't stay long enough to make use of the spa and fitness facilities but plan on returning so will do in future!! Only quibble is that the information about the restaurant Opus One in the rooms said that it was open 7 days a week. When we tried to book a table for lunch on Sunday we were told it was closed all day. We did tell reception about this and they seemed to appreciate us pointing the discrepancy out.

Not really a luxury 5 * experience, as it hs very corporate feeling to it. Being situated on peter st it is ideally for going clubbing but not so good if you want a quiet civilised drink in the bar which gets very busy, noisy and crowded on saturday night.

loved itAll Staff were Extremely Pleasant and Helpful, Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms I had were great very clean, the downside was that I thought the Price for a breakfast was extremely steep and as I have 4 Children that only eat cereal, it would have cost me £105.00. so we skipped breakfast, But Besides that, an absolutely gorgeous Hotel would love to be able to afford to stay there again... loved it.

Perfect StayGreat central location for a city break to Manchester, shops restauranst all really near. Taxi from Piccadilly station was about £5. We got a great 'book in advance' deal, so it was excellent value, saving over £200 for two nights. Staff all very friendly and helpful, made you feel special. Decor very modern and everywhere looked clean and smelt nice. We had a standard double room, lovely bathroom, felt quite luxurious. All in all couldn't have hoped for better. Didn't get a chance to use the spa, book in advance as seems to get booked up quickly. Would definately stay here again.
