The hotel is very good, rooms are ok, the renewed fitness club is very nice, the restaurants inside are both really good.Just a bad note on the taxi service: the taxi staff is not well organized, takes too much to get a cab in time, such a deluxe hotel should have at least 4 to 5 cabs always available waiting our of the main door.

The staff and Concierge staff were great. They steered us to where we wanted to get to and provided great directions to us. When we needed a cab, they had one waiting for us.

The staff were very polite and very helpful. The room was was extremly comfortable and had all the extras needed, especially if you are attending meetings e.g. iron, hairdryer.

I have been staying at this hotel for a number of years and was extremely disappointed this time! I went with some friends (Dr Gordon, whose booking was under my name too). Dr Gordon/s room had dust on all the furniture and by complaining he managed to be refunded 1 nights fee. In my case, I specifically had asked for a twin room (please check your records). When I arrived, I had to wait 1 hour before the room was ready and it wasn't a twin. They then gave us a CHILD bed and no refund of any type was offered and I didn't ask either, I'll just take my custom somewhere else. I used the fitness center and was charged (1st time ever) €6 because my room was booked with laterooms. Just a shabby service and I certainly would not call it a 5* hotel.

We have enjoyed our stay at this hotel for its location, friendly staff. We booked tours and charged it on our hotel bill and also the taxi ride back to the airport, was very convenient. Because of its proximity to the central train station we visited also in Netherlands and Germany. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room backed onto a building site, not too busy but not ideal and not informed about this upon entry. Booking at hotel differed (they listed one adult I'd booked two) to the one I made on this site, take a print out of your booking with you!

I was surprised with the hotel amenities since I read some bad reviews about this hotel in other webpages, but I decided to choose it due to the orbitz price and the location of the hotel. The experience was far from expected, the hotel is well located, three blocks from Grand Place, 1 block from the cathedral, 10 min walking from Central Station and there is a tram station 2 blocks from the hotel that takes you to Zuid Station where most of the Thalys trains arrives. A lot of restaurants on the surronding area and convenience stores. The experience started since our arrival very friendly staff and allow us to do a check in early, that was very helpful after a very early travel from Paris ( 6 am), everything was smooth and fast, then we take the elevator and the hotel seems very far of the reviews that I read, very nice hotel, then we arrived to our room and it was excellent due to our experience with other european hotels: spacious room, flat tv with a lot of channels options, iron board, desk with multiple connector options ( this for international users) and a cozy bed that help us to have a wonderful sleep after several days at europe. The bathroom was spacious too according to european standards. Then we had an early fligth to catch at Amsterdam and the staff was very helpful and friendly with our airline checkin and boarding passes the nigth before our departure. Check out was smooth and fast and the staff was friendly and helpful even tougth that was 4 am in the morning. VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL

We asked reception at 09.30 to have the minibar cleared to put our 3 year old's milk in it. At 15.45 when we returned it had not been done so we called again. It wasn't done until 18.30. Any parent will tell you how important the subject of a child's milk is!Other quibble of ice machine on floor not working on boiling hot day so walked to floor below to get ice.Excellent bed for our child though. Not 5 star standard of service

The hotel was very convenient for a weekend visit to the city. There were a few quite minor problems with our rooms which weren't responded to whilst we were there. The rooms were fine but a little tired and under-whelming in decor, but I am spoilt ! The atrium and bar area is lovely and the staff were polite and helpful

Nice and posh. But a bit pricey. Rudely awoken by nearby construction work/pile-driving at 0700 sharp.

This hotel was lovely. On the drive over I got a call from the hotel saying they had double booked our rooms and they were transferring us to a business class room. Parking beneath the hotel was quite easy (a touch pricey, but not more than you'd expect for city centre long stay parking). The room was lovely - a brilliant room, it was business class though (I can't comment on the standard rooms). Very nice lobby. The breakfasts were brilliant - they were the best bit of the hotel. It was a fantastic buffet breakfast with champagne and everything you could imagine, bowls of strawberry's etc. and even a chef who would cook you an omelet out of a choice of raw ingredients.I'd definitely stay here again.

Hotel had no details of our booking on our arrival but reception staff were very helpful in providing us with a standard of room we had reserved and honoured the 'discounted' rate we had booked it at.Bar was closed on the evening of our visit and service in the lounge was slow, inaccurate and the drinks were expensive.Otherwise, an enjoyable stay in this very comfortable, modern, and conveniently located hotel.
