2nd time to stay at the Radisson. This is a great resort to stay at for couples and adults. We walked thru every resort along Palm Beach and we were glad we came back to the Radisson. It's 2 pools are awesome and it has one of the best locations along Palm Beach...not too crowded like further down. The Radisson may not be as upscale as the newer RUI or Marriott, but, IMO, it's way less crowded and has a more relaxed vacation feel than the others along Palm Beach. The fitness center has everything you need to stay in shape. Pro's: AWESOME pools and beach location; Very good dining; the grounds are beautiful; not that many kids. Con's: The rooms are aging a tad. Maybe not as upscale as the RUI or Hyatt, but it's a better value and feels WAY LESS crowded.

Fantastic hotel and staff that cater to your every need and desire in the most friendly manner possible.

Great location, good restaurants, great pool, great beach. Great location deserved star rating, beautiful grounds and pool area. Restaurants were varied and food was good. Rooms were very nice but not super star like some brand new properties. All in all a very good experience.

We start by saying this; whoever have stayed at the Raddison and did'nt have a great stay need to stand in the middle of the "MIRROR." The service was way over the top. The place was cared for around the clock including my room. The housekeeping team was on point at all times; they checked in with us throughout the day and night. The groundskeeping team was impeccable. There was no trash to be found anywhere. It reminded us of being on a military installation; very clean. Bellhops; what can we say.. there smiles, and wanting to give you the confidence you're looking for in a new place was extremly warming! THANKS! The Concierge; She was great! Never a time were we made to feel anything less than a friend. The Raddison has it all. We celebrated my 50th B-Day while on this trip. The two outdoor bars were very clean. Our room, and bed was paradise by itself, The Jazz Entertainment and breakfast was INCREDIBLE! We did'nt have the pleasure of dinning for dinner; However, We plan on doing so on the next trip. Just to walk into the casino was captivating; Teach the machines to be kinder, and the place would truly be 110% :<) One thing we must mention that was a great and a well thought out plan made with the customer in mind was enabling all charges to be charged to your room with your room credit card while on site. We did not have to carry cash or our c/cards. We paid up at check out! We will forever stay at the Raddison everytime we visit Aruba; Likewise we are telling all our friends. We are making plans to return in June or July with the SinBad Tour!!!!

hotel was okay, but got ripped off by paying for a room with a partial ocean view. when the palm trees blew in the right direction, you could see some water. our room was as far back from the ocean as you can get. we requested another room but they apparently only had a room overlookiing the pariking lot, even though it was only approx 30% capacity. if you book at the radisson, do not pay the extra for this category. looking at the top of palm trees is not a "partial view of the ocean".

We are a middle aged couple. This was our third trip to Aruba and our second stay at this property. We returned due to the amazing beach front, unique room furnishings, sit on balcony's and great location which allows for easy walking distance proximity to all restaurants. Generally, we love this hotel. Property is really nice, grounds are nice, garden walk is beautiful, staff is nice, restaurants are good, movie night was neat, and all the ladies love walking past the whistling birds. I'd suggest requesting Main bldg or Bonaire bldg for rooms. Curacao bldg rooms seemed small, worn out and not quite up to Radisson standards? Carpets worn/dirty, bathrobe missing, partial ocean view marred by unattractive rooftop line. Also, what's up with the 1/4 of a dresser? Hotel staff is friendly and very service oriented. Radisson was great about changing our room. New room was great and met and or exceeded all of our expectations. We did powerboat tubing (fun!), half day snorkeling trip, spa massage and casino, but mostly laid on the beach for R&R. Came in 2004, 2005 and now 2009. Can't believe how developed the hotel strip is now. No need to go into downtown Oranstaadt for anything. Stayed at the Hyatt in 2005 - beautiful grounds but no balcony's, no flavor and a little snooty. Prefer Radisson hands down. Everyone here is cordial, pleasant and down to earth. Just refresh Curacao bldg and make check in faster and less of a manual process and you're in business. Will retun to the Radisson and Aruba again. On a scale of 1-10 I give this property an 8.

Convenient, clean, nice decor -- not typical hotel. Abit pricey. I don't know if there was a place to request bed preference, but we did change rooms when we got there (and the staff was very accommodating). We loved the food, service and room. Everything was beyond our expectation.

stay was okay, but marriott has them beat.... paid for a room with a partial view of the ocean.. got a room with palm trees outside.. if you looked closely you could see the ocean...what a rip off.... ask to be moved.. other option was a room overlooking the parking lot..... came on vacation and didn't want to make a big stink.... but don't pay extra for the room with the partial view of the ocean... this isn't exactly a high rise so there are very few rooms with a good ocean view.... don't even know if any look over the beach...again, don't pay the extra money for a room with a partial view of the ocean... our room was as far back from the ocean as you can get....perhaps if we booked it direct, we would have gotten a better room...aruba is definitely the place to go. have been doing it for many years..first time and probably the last time at the radisson.

I would not give the hotel a 4 star. I thought the room was a clammy and there was a musty smell. The shower was also a little dirty. Although there were activities posted the hotel did not go out of its way to make the experience a fun one... There was no activities coordinator and the events listed rarely occured. On a postive note the grounds were beautiful and clean (e.g. pool area...), the gym area was nice.. and the bed in the room was very comfortable.

Without a doubt, the Radisson has the BEST beach location - more palapas, not as crowded as the other hotels, amazing beach staff, clean and beautiful pool, beautiful grounds (trees, waterfalls, lagoons, parrots etc) - i don't have one complaint. I am a picky traveler, and after going to all of the other hotels, the Radisson was the best for your money. The Hyatt had great ambiance inside of the hotel and a great casino, but that was the only plus to that one - the beach wasn't as good as the Radisson beach by any means. SO just gamble at the Hyatt or the Marriott if you like to, but stay at the Radisson. As for the traveler who said rooms were musty and moldy - you are at a BEACH, it's not perfect, but they do a great job. Very clean, good food and so on. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. I would recommend El Gaucho for dinner - amazing steak!

I've been to Aruba before but this was my first stay at the Radisson. It won't be my last. Nice room, beautiful view and the friendliest staff. Gilligans for lunch is the best!

The Radisson Hotel was in a great location! The beach there was one of the best on the island. We made reservations for several restaurants, a sunset cruise and a jeep tour. The Sunset Grille provided us with one of the most delicious dinners of our trip. This was one of the best trips we've even taken!

We only stayed 1 night, had to change hotels, both rooms we tried were not 4 star. The were very musty and moldy smelling, which effected my sinuses immediatly. The rooms are so small it is hard to not bump into things. The grounds and pool were beautiful and the staff was very helpful even though we moved to the Westin. We did try the buffet for dinner. Go somewhere else to eat.

Great location. You can walk to the mall for shopping, on your walk you will pass several resturants from a watering whole to fine dinning. The pool and beach area are wonderful. Multiple dinning areas and bars. Around the walkway are cages with birds (and their names are on the cages) for kids to see and talk to. A relaxing waterfall and dinning area overlooking it. For the money, the location and facility cant be beat.

The hotel was nice, staff friendly but the service at the bars was extremely slow. The hotel was very quiet when we were there which was ok but not much going on as far as nightlife at the hotel bars (which made the long wait for a drink a bit annoying). There was a great little pier restaurant off the beach right next door to the hotel which had live music a couple of nights a week. That was a lot of fun. The spa was very nice also. You could also walk out the front door and cross the street for a small shopping area with a bunch of restaurants to choose from. The pool looked nice but I spent most of the days into the evenings on the great beach. Pick your tiki umbrella the night before and reserve it so you get a nice spot close to the water.

We made EVERY attempt to book on Palm Beach for a REASONABLE price. We prefer not to stay at places that at extremely crowded and with a lot of children. (We are seniors, so we try to be with similar guests.) The most recent trip to RADISSON in March 2007 was equally as nice. The accommodation were NOT as plush as the another hotel but is NOW but they are as equal as the then ARUBA GRAND. Our room was in the building closest to the RIU PALALCE's north wing. NICE view of the island and the SHIP PORT in the distance, and a short view of the ocean. modest balcony for morning coffee or evening wine to watch the sunset. The room was CLEAN and a bit SMALL but non the less comfortable. SLEEP NUMBER BEDS were nice, I suppose, but you have to REALLY WANT that feature to appreciate it. We were NOT on a meal plan or anything, so we paid for our meals as we went along. We ate many breakfasts in the lagoon buffet. The foor was fairly good for buffett food. Ordered off the menu, too. We did most Lunches off property on the run. Dinner was in the hotel Lagoon or outside. All in all, the RADISSON was a NICE CHOICE for the value. It happenned to be the LEAST COSTLY of the places we were looking at at the time. Around $300.00 USD. We would NOT HESITATE TO RETURN if teh numbers were right.

We had an incredible visit to Aruba and will return to the Radisson. The grounds are beautiful and the location is perfect. The rooms are pretty basic, but service is great. I would highly recommend this hotel.
