The Admiral Semmes is a Mobile tradition. They do need a bit of an upgrade, but she is still a very nice hotel with beautiful rooms in a nice location.

Arrived husband trapped in elevator in garage. On way to room elevator kept dropping floors. Mattress horrible.

This is a great place to stay in Mobile if you have work to do downtown. A great value for nicely appointed rooms with a great bed. The LCD TV was a nice surprise. No complaints, especially for the price. The hotel's dining options are a little limited, but that's not why you stay here.

The location. The pool was dirty and the spa did not work. The staff was confused about everything. Check in was a disaster and check out was worse.

First off, if you ever want to try out the Sleepnumber beds...forget about it! It is a complete waste of money. They are like sleeping on two single air matresses pushed together! Don't plan on snuggling,the two different sleepnumbers make a ridge in the middle of the bed! Consider your sleep number- sleeping on a over inflated air matress or an under inflated air matress. A complete nightmare!!! For the Admiral Semmes, the house keeping decided to check in on us at 830am, after we requested a check out time of 12pm. Then housekeeping decided that they needed to vacuum the hall right out side our door an hour later. So we tossed an turned all night and then we were woken up early, twice. What a horrible stay!! Don't forget to factor in 7 bucks for parking, as the websites do not meantion.

The room was comfortable; the sleep-number bed and duvet were great. I slept like a baby and felt fabulous in the morning. Breakfast was included in our deal and we loved the chance to just chill on a weekend morning with attentive staff, fine coffee, and great omelets. We had a view from our upper-floor room that included a bit of Mobile Bay and downtown. This is a nicely renovated old hotel with character and style. Parking was very reasonably priced at $6 and was as convenient as could be. The staff was courteous and professional and not without southern hospitality and charm. Don't miss the giftshop; it's much more than you'd expect. Everything about this stay was first-rate.

We booked a room for a family of five and were given a room with one double bed in it. When we asked why they said the room had been converted to a handicapped room but you could not tell it on their computer. We managed to squeeze everyone in the room on roll away beds since no other room was available. At 11 pm, when our children were asleep,the manager burst into the room saying we were not checked in. Upon seeing us he realized he was mistaken. He scared our children half to death. The hotel never apologized.

The hotel was a great value. Our Champaign was delivered when requested. Our room was in a private corner of the hotel. A credit (up to $30) was given back to our bill for breakfast. A must have is the Shrimp & Grits! Any time a stay over is warranted in Mobile, and a trip to Felixs Fish Camp is a great reason, this hotel will be our retreat.

Not much. Poor plumbing. Not that impressed. The parking garage next to the hotel had an elevator that was so slow that I actually thought that I was stuck. One of the keys that was issued did not operate the door. The refrigerator did not cool sufficiently. The plumbing ran all night long. I slept for about 2 hours Max!

Close to the cruise terminal, cheaper parking than cruise terminal. No complaints. This hotel was nice, clean and wonderfully located downtown if you are cruising.

The decor in the hotel is wonderful. The hotel is old and need some renovations. The Radisson is known for very nice hotels. The appearance of this hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The only problem is the hotel is in need of some renovations because of the age of the hotel.

They provided vehicle parking while we were on a cruise with shuttle services. Nothing and they were great.

The location was great. The lobby and restaurant were nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very plan an smelled terrible. It had a constant musty smell the whole weekend. The hotel was a bit older than we expected and the room was very musty smelling. The location was great. we walked to the Convetin Center and Daphin St was 1 block away with some nice restaurants. We felt very safe walking around with our kid both day and night. There is also a great children's museum 2 blocks from the hotel. If the room and pool were cleaner it would be a perfect hotel.
