Location
The hotel is located in the grandstand of the restored San Pedro bullfighting ring, which was built in the 19th century and last staged a bullfight in 1975. The city centre with its restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping venues and links to the public transport network is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Facilities
This hotel is one of the most unconventional hotel establishments in the world. The restoration of the old arena so expertly integrated the old structure of the building into its design plans that the project received the International Architecture Award after the official opening in 1989. The spacious suites are decorated in classic colonial style and are complete with wardrobes and original works of art. Meals
The elegant restaurant, La Plaza, is fitted with spectacular chandeliers, original art works and large windows, so that all guests can enjoy the beautiful view. The restaurant is built on two levels and offers excellent service, and the menu contains platters of meat, fish and poultry specialities, as well as regional delicacies of the other Quinta Real hotels in Mexico.
