Easter break at Queens CourtHotel is in an excellent position enabling us to walk into city centre; also close links to all major roads. Reception staff very friendlyRooms clean but 'tired'Breakfast - this is the point that lets the hotel down. On three consecutive mornings I asked for a croissant (!) and it was not available. Muesli not available on one morning. Fresh fruit not available on one morning. We got the feeling that management have really tried to cut corners on their breakfast and it ruined what was otherwise a good weekend. The rooms are tired but because of the 'deal price' we paid this was acceptable; they were clean and adequate. We would stay here again but next time I think we would have to make comments to the management re the breakfast!!!

Couldn't be better...After completeing a 6 hour drive from Norwich to Exeter i was hoping my hotel in Exeter would be as nice as it looked, and i wasn't disappointed. Parking is right outside the door in a well-lit car park and the welcome i received from the guy on reception was very warm and friendly (i assume he was the owner as he was there in the morning when i came down for breakfast, extremely nice man.)The room was bright and airy and extremely comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom with shower and bath.Due to my long drive i ordered room service, which was very reasonably priced (under £10 for a delicious bowl of pasta and homemade pesto and a non-alcoholic drink), and this arrived quickly. All in all the only potential negative was that there were patches of the carpet in the room that were damp to the touch. On further investigation it seemed to be cleaning products that had been spilt, so not too much of an issue really. Would highly recommend this hotel, espeically to young female travellers such as myself - was made to feel very welcome and very safe.

Good and BadGreat location and wonderful breakfasts but the state of the room didn't match - very small and bedding which could have been cleaner. Also shower head did not stay fixed to the wall so it had to be hand-held.

Very pleasant hotel and in an ideal central location. The room was lovely, and the only minor niggle was trouble getting sustained hot water for a shower in the morning. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was most enjoyable.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and extremely professional, plus the food is excellent. I told the waitress of a food allergy on the first night and everything I order after that was automatically checked without even asking :-)

Excellent food, breakfast was wonderful and I would definately recommend the restaurant for dinner. Overall our stay there was very good. The only negative being was that our shower seemed to have a mind of its own when deciding the temperature which can cause a harsh wake up call! All the staff were very polite and friendly and the room was very clean and the bathroom a good size. Brillian location; very central but also quiet. We got the train to Exeter St Davids and it took less than 10 minutes to walk there (we only had 1 case between us though!)Would recomment highly and will definately stay there again.

friendly and helpful staff. good central location. don't normally eat at hotel restaurants as prefer to go out and explore locally but would definitely recommend the food here. they'd just been awarded an AA rosette which makes them the highest graded hotel in Exeter and it is well deserved. good value at £20 for 2 courses.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was very comfortable and we really liked the home made biscuits. The water could have been a little hotter, but otherwise it was exactly what we were looking for and in a great position to walk into the town.

We went on Sunbday night and had a room at the front of the hotel and town centre was very quiet so everything was fine, but don't know what the noise would be like from the traffic on a week day. Will go there again but will take the precaution of asking for a room at the rear of the hotel. Mind you if they could put in secondary glazing there wouldn't be any noise problem.
