Was in Victoria for the weekend of May 29th...had beautiful weather, which was wonderful. The hotel staff (front desk and housekeeping) were very friendly, courteous, and efficient. The rooms were clean and average size. There is no air conditioning, so be warned, but there was a sliding glass door onto a small balcony which we opened to let in fresh air. It let in street noise as well, but we were not bothered by that. Parking was limited but we got lucky and then just didn't move the car the whole weekend. The hotel is located so conveniently, it's easy to walk everywhere. Didn't check out the pool or the restaurant, so can't comment on those. I would stay here again.

Considering the cost of hotels in Victoria, this experience was great. The hotel has been redone in the last couple of years and is very nice. The location is very convenient, the staff is helpful, and the parking was pretty good...either right at the hotel or just across the street. If you plan to visit the BC Museum, the location couldn't be better; it's right across the street.

room was very comfortable, with all the conveniences of home. We were within 5 minutes of any of the points of interest in the inner harbor, which made it very convenient as we were carless. In closing, the weather was sunshine and blue sky.

The workout room was great. Ice machine/vending machines on separate floors. I loved the hotel. I go to Victoria often and will stay here again. About as nice as the Coast Harborside, with friendlier staff and alot less money.

We had a great time here. One of the desk clerks was a little surly when we arrived but redeemed himself later by his much-improved demeanor - no big deal. Fantastic location with the Thunderbird Park and Royal B.C. museum right across the street, and it is walking distance to waterfront area and entire downtown stores. The room's balcony was an unexpected treat, as was the Jacuzzi, Pool, and exercise area. The restaurant in the hotel is very good but a bit pricey, but it has a nightly candlelit dinner menu that is an especially good value. We did not want to leave, and will definitely stay here again if we visit Victoria. Well worth the money!

The Queen Vistoria was excellent. The staff are very friendly. The pool and work out area very well maintained. The restaurant is very good, especially the Heart Smart breakfast. The location, just 200 yards from the Inner Harbor is perfect. I would recommend the hotel very highly.

Very convenient location - within walking distance to local tourist attractions. Parking is terrible and spaces are tight. You also have to pay for parking. The room and hotel is nothing spectacular. The main advantage is that it is within walking distance of the tourist attractions.

Clean, affordable, fantastic location, while not a 4 or 5 star hotel the level of professional and qualified and friendly staff was excellent. Not enough parking. The hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a convenient affordable yet very clean and friendly place to stay. Couldn't beat the location.

"If you want anything in this hotel it is extra money. We had a kitchenette in our room, which we could have used for $10 CAD per day, to have a view of the harbour is another $15 CAD per day. To park in their parking lot is $4 CAD per night. If you wanted another coffee package it was $2 CAD extra. To make a local call will cost you 0.43 per call. I have been to Victoria 3 times now and will not stay at this hotel again. The best hotel so far has been Chateau Victoria."

The reception desk was very welcoming and very helpful. The location was perfect for visiting places in Victoria. The room was comfortable but maybe the shower needed modernisation, the temperature of the water was variable and the shower head a little difficult to direct. Overall I liked the hotel and would definitely go back there when visiting Victoria.
