ExcellentExcellent accommodation, in a lovely quiet spot just away from the centre of Bath. Beautiful setting for a guest house, with period specific furnishings to compliment the buildings history -Queen Anne's Orangery. Thoroughly recommended.

Extraordinary bijou retreatThis is quite simply one of the most remarkable places I have stayed in. ( I stay in hotels over 120 nights a year so this is some compliment ) A quirky. imaginative individual delight featuring circular rooms, interesting antiques, flourishes, oddities and a quite stunning garden retreat. Hidden in the back of a very prestigous street, but within 7 minutes walk of the centre of Bath, the Orangery is festooned with character and taste. Our room was not spacious but it was a pure delight. The propietor engages with his customers in a very meaningful way without obtrusiveness and service is immaculate. Not cheap but nothing of true worth in life is!Enjoy a different type of stay in the rapturous city of Bath.John

Queen Charlotte's Orangery BathThis was a delightful small hotel with an enchanting Italianate style garden. Extremely comfortable suite with fresh flowers in our room. Excellent individually cooked breakfast. The owners Denise and Colin were charnming and most welcoming.

Gem of a PlaceThis B&B was such a good find! A few blocks walk from downtown Bath, so very quiet. The rooms are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Beautiful garden area and common room.The owners were gone for the weekend, but Sylvia took good care of us and went out of her way to look up some info on the internet and have it printed out for us when we returned from our day exploring. Would highly recommend!!!

Like walking into a dolls houseAs a regular business traveller I'm more used to the standard 'chain' hotel experience, but as I was visiting a collegue who lives in Bath the Orangery was booked for me for it's convenient location a short walk from the town centre etc.The first impression was as the title says, like walking into a dolls house, with it's round central breakfast room with all manner of chintzy decorations in keeping with the Georgian eraThe room I had was resplendant with a 4 poster bed that was was the most comfortable I have ever sleept in anywhere in the world A little gem !!

Best accommodation in Bath- will definitely be staying there again!This is the second time I have stayed at the Orangery and definitely not the last. The accommodation itself is beautiful, unique with amazing attention to detail. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners is far beyond expectation, with advice about where to eat and where to go, and real care and consideration for guests. I could not speak highly enough!

Hidden Georgian charm!From the moment we arrived at Queen Charlotte's, we entered into another world! From a well earned cup of tea in the charming garden when we arrived, to the amazing room which we occupied, everything about our stay was just right. The circular entrance room and breakfast area was an unexpected delight, and the whole house is decorated subltly and tastefully. There is a wide range of antiques, paintings, and Georgian period pieces throughout. Our room was equally impressive, with lovely furnishings and an enormous, and really comfortable king bed, with double doors opening out into the relaxing garden. We could not have wanted anything else from Queen Charlotte's and we will definitely be back. Our hosts were very friendly and cooked us a fine breakfast too, with proper Heinz tomato ketchup! The Orangerie provides a quality night's accommodation and a relaxing escape from the city. We could not recommed it highly enough.

Classy .... and rather eccentricWe chose this B&B, which was a little above our price ceiling and were quite pleasantly surprised. The Bedroom/living facilities were very clean and well-presented and very ornate (for simple travellers such as ourselves). The proprietors were great fun and quite eccentric. A long session was held discussing (and listening to recorded examples of) 60's folk-guitar performers (hey, John Renbourn and John Martyn were absolute legends in their day).The place is a little hard to find, due in most part to the strict heritage overlay that governs street and business signs) but the proprietors quickly directed us to the correct entrance.Breakfast was good although some of the choices were limited (packaged muesli, lack of choice for jam on toast)All around, very enjoyable

Linda, Nigel, Jane and TonyWe all had a most enjoyable stay at Queen Charlotte's Orangery for two nights. The accommodation is most unique, charming and full of character, set in a very quiet part of Bath but only within a short stroll of the city centre. Our rooms were very comfortable, the owners friendly, and a cooked breakfast was served to order, with freshly sliced fruit, orange juice and cereals also offered. We would definitely recommend it.

Lovely My husband and I stayed here for one night, the location was wonderful, the atmosphere was lovely and we felt very welcome and comfortable. It is beautiful accomodation, lovely people, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definately come again.

We had a wonderful stay! Denise and Greg made us feel welcome before we had even arrived with a courtesy call. When we arrived we were made to feel at home and served with a welcome pot of tea. Dinner recommendations were made and Greg even made the reservations and ordered us a taxi as it was particularly rainy night. The Orangery is in fact very central, in walking distance of all the sights so we did not use our car at all during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and it was good to share a table with other guests as we were able to make recommendations to each other about things to do in Bath. The silver leaf bed was so very comfortable, a great nights sleep to be had!Thank you Denise and Greg, we hope to see you again! Rachel and Chris
