i thought the que huong liberty 4 hotel was excellent. staff very pleasant excellent hotel location room air conditioning worked brilliantly room was clean breakfast was tasty

This was my first trip to Saigon, but the staff at Que Hoang Liberty 4 made me feel very welcome. The doormen are always looking after you and insist on helping you across the (busy) street and assisting you with your bags. Housekeeping staff are super sweet and the Front Desk staff are quite helpful. I booked a Junior Suite and got upgraded to the Executive (largest) Suite, but was asked to move back into a Junior Suite when it became available again. Actually the Junior Suite is better anyway (think of it as a super large room with a L-shaped couch near the mini bar). Speaking of mini-bar, it was very affordable and comparable to just buying snacks and drinks on your own. The tours recommended by the Front Desk were awesome (I did Cu Chi Tunnels on my first day and a one-day Mekong Delta River Tour on my second day). They were only 10 each. They book through Tuan Travel Service which costs 6 to book through them but I'm not sure that would include the hotel pickup in the morning. The breakfast buffet is included for all guests and was very large on the top floor with a nice view of the park and city. It was such a relaxing way to start the day. Ben Thanh Market is walkable distance. The Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum are farther away but walkable if you want to take your time. Otherwise just take a (cheap) Vinasun taxi to any of these. You should know that any hotel is likely to have noise day and night from the honking of cars ond motorcycles on the street, and Liberty 4 is no exception. Late night is fine though due to less traffic. ENJOY YOUR STAY!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The locaion is convenient, though a little noisy in the early morning, but that is Saigon! You can hearing honking every sec. The breaklfast is good too. Only the lift is a little small

The location is excellent, close to many restaurants, shops and tourist agencies to organise your trip. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and since it did not look over the street it was not too noisy. The breakfast is good if you like Asian breakfast, but not much for the European taste, though the breakfast room is really nice overlooking a park on the 9th floor. Try the massage on the first floor, though be aware and do not let you ripped off by the charming girls.

Great hotel right where you would want to be if you are a tourist. All the shops, bars, tour agents are at the doorstep. Great service from the staff and a very nice breakfast. Enjoyed the stay

The hotel staff were all outstanding; helpful and friendly. Whether arranging tours, storing extra luggage, or just helping you get safely accross the street. This was a first-rate group in every respect. Oh, good breakfast too: made to order omlets, fresh baguettes, and the best bacon in the eastern hemisphere.

Convenient location within walking distance of most places of interest in Saigon. Just check your booking for bedding arrangements - we expected a 1 double / 1 single bed arrangement but were provided with a double plus rollaway bed in a small room which was a bit tight for space. Nice breakfast terrace on the top floor helps you get oriented. Great breakfast options.

Great hotel in very central location. Close to Ben Than market and easy walk to other sights in central HCM. Whilst not 'plush' and decor a little tired it was very clean and tidy for the price. Good breakfasts on 9th floor of hotel with great views of city. Many bars and restaurants (good value) all around hotel and also many tourist operators to change money and organise tours of city/country etc. Would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast choice. Comfortable beds. Very good situation especially if you want to take tours out of the city as the Sinh Cafe, the biggest tour operator, is just round the corner. Many of the central city sights are within walking distance. As more mature travellers, we found this hotel a good option.

This was a decent hotel, but unfortunately on our first night, they gave us a twin room even though we had booked a double. Other than that, the service was friendly and the breakfast was nice. Close to backpacker area so easy to book tours, onward travel etc.

Excellent location at the cheaper side of town. Only minutes walk to cheap restaurants and bars. Excellent service. Wouldnt recommend bringing your wife to the Lido Bar though....
