Staff made us feel like we had known them for years. Room was clean but had several light bulbs burned out and a little over used on some furniture. Overall, a very nice place to stay. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and very easy to get to the attractions of the area. We plan on staying again on our next visit.

had bugs in room did not get room done till late afternoon past 4pm had to wait too long to get warm water to take shower would not stay at this hoel too many things to put in words that went bad at this hotel would not say good place to stay till all work is done as trying to redo lot of noise

Facilities were great, close to Naval base for business travel. Biggest problem was getting a receipt to liquidate a travel claim. Because we booked through Travel website, the hotel could not give us a receipt. I was only asking for check-in date, check-out date, daily rate and balance due to hotel. Liquidators wouldn't accept Travelocity's receipt. Travelocity couldn't fax new receipt - only e-mailed receipt. Vicious Cycle! Normally would highly recommend hotel - but not for government employees.

The cleanliness of the common/lobby areas, the layout, along with the amenities. Side bldg. door would not lock and at times stuck open. Cooked to order eggs on the greasy side. Overall, experience was better than expected for the star level. All suites. Included amenities were great. Staff was Friendly. A little difficult to locate. GPS would not recognize the address. Would return in the future.

My wife and I stayed here on a 3 night vacation in Charleston. The hotel was an easy 10 minute drive from downtown. This is evidently an older hotel that is undergoing significant renovation. The room we stayed in had recently been renovated, although the bathroom still showed some signs of aging. The room was spacious and clean, with a mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast is excellent, although the lone chef is obviously overworked (on our last morning it took us about 30 minutes to get our food). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Wal-Mart and the Tanger Outlet Center. It is near the airport, so you'll frequently hear planes taking off and landing, but this didn't bother us. Overall, this hotel was a great value for the price we paid through an internet deal.

Great location (across from Outlet Stores and near major roads). Great breakfast bar. Reserved 2 beds in one room, but got one bed and couch - was bummed that I could reserve it, but could not get it.

When checking in, they tried to put us in a room with a king-sized bed, although our trip confirmation showed we requested 2 queens. We were told to contact online travel website to straighten it out, until we told them we had 2 adults and 3 children - then they decided to go ahead and give us the room we actually booked. Requested extra pillows and blankets were not delivered, wake-up call was 15 minutes late, shower handle was broken, dirty towels were taken away by housekeeping, but not replaced. Room was large and accomodating for a large family, with 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed.

Staff andcooked to order breakfast. Big palmetto, (cockroaches) crawling on the mirrors, bathroom needs upgrading. Great value, only one or two things wrong, bedroom door covered closet doors and the bathroom compared to the rest of the room needs a real face-lift.

Hotel was attractive, clean and within easy commute to downtown and other attractions. Great breakfast bar, and the manager's reception is a wonderful idea! Clean pool area. Close to the airport, but we like the sight and sound of aircraft so this was not a problem. Enjoyed our stay very much. Wish we would've asked for a room with a balconey, though. Ours didn't have one and it felt claustrophobic.

Overall design, needs to be updated and new managment. Dirty, took 1.5 hrs to fill tub, felt like needed a shower after being on bed and furniture. It is way too dirty really. A good cleaning and new soft items could make this a dated but nice room.

The room is clean and tidy. The hotel front desk made mistakes assigning rooms. The hotel is very close to a outlet center, so it's very convenient for shopping. The rooms are clean and tidy. We just had a little problem with assigning rooms. We asked the front desk people to assign us two rooms close to each other. They told us its just cross each other. But actually there was quite a walking distance from each other. What's more, these two rooms were both smoking rooms, which they didn't even asked our preferences at the front desk. We had to switch to non-smoking rooms again later. They had no problem switching the rooms for us and they apologized for their mistakes though.

Very nice rooms. Everything was just fine. I would recommend the Quality Suites Charleston in Charleston to anyone that plan on seeing the great city of Charleston friendly staff, nice location, close to everything in the city, and just overall good clean rooms.

It was very convenient - near the highway and shopping. The shower was cold at 6:30 AM. The hotel itself was fine: nothing spectacular, but clean and comfortable - good bed. There were no good restaurants within a mile or so for someone who was a very tired traveler. It was across the street from the Outlet Mall which made it easy to locate.

Great location and close to shopping, dining and interstate. Workout room only has minimal equipment. Well worth the money and a great businessman's hotel.
