The room was very comfortable with two beds in one room and a sofa bed in the other. There were also two televisions so the kids could watch their own programs in one room. This hotel was right across from the Mall of Acadiana which had plenty of restaurants to choose from. It is also not far from Blue Bayou Waterpark which was the reason for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to my family.

Location was convenient. Bad smell, elevator did not work on arrival, wakeup was an hour later due to time change, sink is not in bathroom. I would not stay here again. The hotel is ill kept. Not a good choice for any traveler.

For + a night, this place is a giant nasty hole. We were originally supposed to stay here 3 nights and left after less than one night. We arrived and the room had furniture that was literally falling apart. The coffee table was on its last leg, the drawers looked like they were put together with glue. The room itself was completely outdated with a fridge that looked like it had been there since the 70's - but this was not the biggest issue. I went to use the restroom only to find roaches in our bathroom - and not the big tree roaches that we get in the south - but the dirty nasty roaches that say you need to clean this place.I was afraid to use the toilet because it was not as clean as it should be for a hotel room of this price (the motel 6 is cleaner), the bathroom floor was dirty and nasty and I was afraid to even touch the shower. Although the linens on the bed looked newer, I was scratching as soon as I got in bed (bed bugs?) and felt like there was crap biting me for what little sleep I got. I finally fell asleep and was awoken at 8:30 am on the 4th of July to the sound of banging and power tools directly outside our room. Who the heck does construction at 8:30 am on the Fourth of July in a hotel? The pool was filthy and dirty and was cloudy (I have never seen a cloudy pool before). We did finally check in to a Residence Inn off Corporate and when I took off my socks that I had worn walking around the hotel room all night, the bottom of them were black - disgusting.

I liked that the living room and bedroom was two separate rooms. This hotel was great. There were a few issues but nothing not worth coming back for. Things like that bathroom door was broken so you couldn't close it all the way, There was a hole in the ceiling, Right next to a major road so it was not quiet in our room, we wanted to order the pay per movie and it still did not work even after a worker fixed it. On a high note, It was very comfortable in the room, We felt safe and the breakfast was to die for. You definitely wont leave with an empty stomach.

The room was okay and the staff was okay. We stayed at the Hyatt Place just down the road the night before and it was much better. Better Staff, Security, location, room, and Price. The quality inn wasn't that bad, but seemed much worse after staying at the more inexpensive and better Hyatt Place just down the road. The rooms were too noisy from the pool and the parking lot.

This room was very spacious. The room while modern, was very worn. The layout of this suite was great. The overall appearance of the suite was worn like someone had been living there for a while (probably an evacuee).

The room decor is almost ratty. The rug had pulls in it. The bed cover was old. This propertry has gone from a good business class hotel to a 'hard hat' hotel. There were many construction contractors stayiing there. The staff's additude at the desk was 'whatta u want' instead of 'how may I help you'. The breakfast staff were nice and courteous. The best part was the breakfast, a made to order hot breakfast with eggs, meats, cereal. But the dining area was not really clean. The exercise room is almost a joke. It's a converted room with a tread mill and a stair stepper. It's a good location, near shopping and the interstate.

Nice at desk. Elevator not working, welding stairways at 6:00 a.m., poor restaurant. Unfortunately, the hotel is very outdated and not clean. Many things were broken in the room. The hotel has simply not been maintained.

The rooms need remodeling and furniture replaced.Had a problem with the refrigerator and they cheerfuly moved us to another room.I liked the layout of the room.The lobby was nice also.The breakfast was good, bacon a little greasy.It wasn't a bad stay but could have been better.

Close to Baton Rouge General. Road noise kept us awake. If you need to be close to the hospital ask for a room away from the road.

We stayed here with two children for several days. The room was big and everything was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Security was outside at night which made us feel safe. Free breakfast wasn't wonderful but not too bad. Location is great. They do have a sofa in the room, but it does not make into a bed if you need that. Has everything else though, sink, fridge, microwave, and 2 TV's. Would stay there again.

The hotel clerk was nice. Was not utilizing right not enough space to open bathroom door if on toilet and a bad view of a garbage can. I would not stay there again bathroom sink should have been in bathroom not in room with beds better locks on balcony doors.

The staff did a good job. This is an "old" property that needs a lot of work. When I booked this hotel, I thought this was a 3 to 3.5-star hotel. Not even close. The rooms were dirty. Plumbing didn't work; caulking was coming apart. 1.5-stars at best. When the toilet didn't work, I lift the lid and found a great amount of mold and mildew. This is an old property to that needs a lot of work. Not worth the money at all.

It was a good value. Rooms were spacious. Elevator was too far from the room. Nice place, nothing very fancy. Security guard was outside and visible at night. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast wasn't very good. Good location. One tip though, sofa is not a sleeper. It doesn't make into a bed like I thought.

Free breakfast, though not very high quality. Overall cleanliness. It is in a very good location but it needs a thorough cleaning, bed spread up dating, and fumigation.

Staff was friendly. Condition of room was very bad. The room itself was in terrible condition. Carpet was stained and had that sticky feeling. Was supposed to be a non-smoking room yet smelled like an ashtray. Plaster on walls was cracking, bathtub barely drained, and toilet ran all night. This hotel at one time was probably fairly upscale (2-room suite, fridge, microwave, 2 TVs, etc) but is now very rundown. Is not worth what was paid. The staff was very friendly, though.

Fully separated rooms within suite. More care could have been given to the preparation of breakfast and to how it was served (paper plates and plastic forks). The hotel room was set up ideally to accommodate couples with children or friends. We had one of volunteers staying with us and it would have been awkward if the suite design contained only a partial wall which could not have been closed off for complete privacy. This was the only suite hotel we could find in the area that had this feature. For clarification, a better choice than "business traveler solo", to describe my travel habits, (for this trip, which best describes you as a traveler :) would have been "business traveler with spouse or partner", but this selection was not available.

The staff was friendly. It did not have all the accommodations listed, poor bedding, and musty smell. Cook to order breakfast, no already cooked you just order is more like it. The bedding was old and scratchy; I always bring my own pillows when traveling, good thing flat as pancake. Couldn't locate ice machines, but we didn't ask since we were prepared for that. After reading stocked cook wear, I¿m glad I didn't plan to cook. It just wasn't a value at its price; it was fairly clean but musty. I'll look elsewhere since I am planning a trip back to that area with my family, and will need a kitchenette and moor room.

Overall good stay, enjoyed the separate living room and bedroom Bath tub was flimsy. Overall nice stay, would stay there again if I had to.
