Clean room, comfortable bed, and convenient location. The bathroom was too cramped, tripping over the toilet to get into the shower. Clean, comfortable, didn't like the that they only had one suite. The name of the hotel Quality Inn and Suites makes you think they have a few suites. Nice hotel but trying to make themselves more than what they are.

The room was extremely hot and humid. The air conditioning had been turned off and it was almost unbearable. They gave us a portable fan but it did not work.

Good location, clean and friendly staff. Not handicapped accessible: needs ramps for restaurant and getting to rooms.

Was pleasantly surprised here, having read the many other, shall we say - scary - reviews of places in the Binghamton area. I'm pretty picky, and the room was clean and sufficient for my needs (a place to sleep and study until class), and couldn't have been any more convenient to the Binghamton University campus. Bed very comfy with hotel-like linens (e.g., white fluffy comforter, multiple pillows, throw, etc.). Wireless worked well. Check-in polite and easy. Pool looked great. Did not eat at restaurants, nor order room service. If I had to complain, I would note the cable picture was a little fuzzy; the hallways were dark; and the outlet at the desk did not work. The bathroom is also tiny, but not an issue for me. Also, if a consideration for some, I don't believe there's an elevator (though there is a wheelchair lift for the stairs). Plan to book again.

Friendly service. No refrigerator. The personnel were friendly and very helpful.

The room was set to 59 degrees and the outside temperature was 58 degrees. We turned off the air conditioner. We asked if the heat could be turned on. Unfortunately, they do not control heating by room. Since it is summer, the heat is turned off. Well, we had to stay inside the blankets. The bathroom smelled chlorine from the towels. It was unbearable. Other than that the stay was okay for the star.

Conveniently located to my destination. Poor in each area-customer service, cleanliness, food. Definitely not recommended! The staff is not well trained. Initial room provided was not clean. Second non-smoking room smelled of smoke and staff denied it did. Other guests were given keys to our room and walked into room after we already checked. I was charged for an additional night stay even though I had already paid for 2 nights. The staff said I did not. Food at the breakfast buffet was very stale and inedible. Staff stated to me and others guests that it was not their fault and implied that our expectations were not valid. Knocking on the table with the hardened stale bagel and Danish impressed my point but brought no resolution. Definitely not recommended!

Great location, easy access to 81 and 17. Plus the pool seemed nice. Needs renovation/update. Funky smell in the room and hallway. Sheets were clean but everything else seemed dingy. AC unit frame was unfinished.

Location was convenient for our needs. Entrances to accommodation need updating. Good hotel in good location. Room was quiet and decently furnished.

The rooms were clean, nearby parking, cute bar (Johnnie¿s tavern). 1. Service at Japanese restaurant was very poor. 2. Four or five fire alarms in one day--very disruptive! My husband and I were very annoyed by the fire drills at all hours of the night and early morning during our stay. The hotel staff did not have the decency to inform the guests on my floor that the maintenance crew was "just testing" the alarm system, and so each time we heard the alarm, everyone evacuated. It wasn't until the 4th alarm that we learned they were "just drills¿. And the reason we found out was because I called the main desk to see what was going on. The hotel had all their guests standing outside in a panic. We were all very annoyed with that. I don't mind them checking the system, but they could have at least told the guests not to be alarmed. Also, the service in the Japanese restaurant was very poor. My husband and I waited for at least 25 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. The food came out fairly quick and was very good, but no one ever came back to check on us. We would have ordered another drink or two and I could have used a fork and knife (I¿m not that good with chopsticks). After sitting there staring at our empty glasses and dirty plates for another 20 minutes after we finished, we had to flag down a worker just to get our check. It was not a friendly environment by any means. Plus, the trip/dinner was supposed to be a nice getaway to celebrate my husband¿s birthday and between the alarms and the service at the restaurant, I was highly disappointed.
