These basic accommodations have worked well for us dozens of times in the last decade, as we visit my aging parents. Front desk is friendly; rooms are spacious; water pressure, heat & a/c all good. And the windows actually open! HB eggs, fruit, cereal & waffles are nice additions to the standard free breakfast fare of juice, donuts and mediocre coffee. Dog lovers: there are a limited number of non-smoking rooms which allow your 4-footed family members, so reserve early.

Cleanliness. Non-smoking room & whole hotel smelled like smoke. Traveling on personal business. Wanted non smoking hotel room. Room smelled like smoke and lobby & hallways. I have asthma and had to medicate heavily to sleep at night.

This hotel served it's purpose; but failed to ""wow"" me in any way. WI Rapids hotels are actually fairly expensive, this one was middle-of-the-road in pricing. Upon walking in the building the first thing that hits is the smell of smoke; however, once inside our room it was not as noticeable. Major updates could/should be made, but I'm sure the same could be said for many accommodations in the area. Overall, the hotel met my expecations and the bed was actually comfortable! Just be aware that the hotel does smell like smoke and needs some improvements.

Casual/flexible regarding pool use, breakfast - across street from 24 hour Walgreens. Safe location, handy to all night Walgreens.

The room was spacious and I liked the fridge and microwave in the room; continental breakfast was also good. Small pool; whirlpool not working. The rooms were very spacious and ours had a microwave and refrigerator. Everything was clean and the continental breakfast was great. The kids stayed free and with the free breakfast. The negatives were the small pool area and the whirlpool was working while we were there.

The breakfast, the staff. I did not find the manager particularly friendly. My review is not so much for the hotel, but for your services. Since I was unfamiliar with the destination and we had to go because of family illness, I used the internet to locate a hotel.
