The staff was great and especially during the fire. We had to clear out the hotel at 7 am due to a fire in the kitchen. The staff kept everyone calm and were very friendly. Unfortunately, there was no power after the fire department left and therefore, no way to iron my presentation clothing for my meeting and no way to shower and shave. So, the result was my very poor appearance at the meeting. I was however dismayed that no compensation was offered to me upon checking out (by flashlight). So, other than not being able to shower, shave, eat at the hotel, and iron my clothes it was not a bad place to sta.

The things to purchase in the lobby. The room could have been a cheaper prize. The hotel was fine.

Bathroom floor was sticky, the bathroom itself had a musty smell. The carpet had not been vaccumed in a long time. The TV and dresser it sat on was dusty. We did not bother to complain since we were only staying one short night and the person at the front desk was not friendly when we checked in didn't think we would get any understanding from her anyways. The pool and hot tub were nice - helped to make up for the lousy room.

We go up north every summer, and on our way back down we have been happy stopping here for a night with family. This year we got a poolside room and enjoyed a swim. As hotels go, it's a very typical modern property, nothing particularly fancy in any way - regularly clean, quiet, and well run. There is an attached restaurant which serves a good breakfast. The decor is one part over-the-top lumberjack kitsch and one part very thoughtful antique lumbering implements and photographs, a welcome change from some places that are very bland.

Loved the fact that everything was right on site from gift purchases, restaurant and shopping at the back door. We stayed 2 nights and the first night was a bit unnerving as the customers in the next room were extremely noisy till late hours. We would stay here again but next time make sure we are away from a room that is there for different reasons. We were there for relaxation and quiet time and they were there for partying. Which is fine a little further away.

Quality Inn is conveniently located off of I75. Our room was clean and confortable. The large pool area is nicely decorated in the up north theme. If there is a drawback, there is no elevator to from the second floor to the main floor restaurant and pool area. It is walking distance to the outlet mall, close to the town of West Branch and a short drive to golf courses. About 45 minutes East of the Quality Inn is the beautiful coastal town of Tawas City with beautiful Marinas and parks.

Liked the theme of being up north. Bed not that comfortable - felt like I was lying on a floor almost. Up north theme was interesting, but no elevators to the second floor. King bed not very comfortable. Granddaughter used swimming pool & I used the Jacuzzi.

Comfortable, convenient and spacious. I had no problems. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality exceeded the 2 star rating. For the type of hotel it was it was very good.

Friendly service and availability to every need within walking distance. Can't think of anything. This hotel is very convenient to shopping. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Very convenient.

Convenient, clean and affordable. The pool was just outside my window, housekeepers knocked on every door at 9am. Hotel is fine. Restaurant and gas station within in 100 feet. Lots of fast food options close. No Star buck for 60 miles.

Location from stores and activities. Was close to stairs, slamming doors and a lot of noise. Staff was nice. Room was comfortable, gaps under doors let in a lot of noise. Pool was small, hot tub was great. In general it was ok, a little expensive for what you got.
