Staff was very friendly and helpful. While I did not use the pool, the pool area was clean and looked very comfortable. The room was much nicer than expected and had a fridge and microwave. Very comfortable. Rooms and exterior areas are in need of an update, but property is otherwise well maintained. Considering the favorable rates, this hotel is a great value.

Hotel was only 2 mins from downtown but was in the middle of everything. Everything was good room, bed, staff.Only bad thing was didnt have Sports channel on the tv. This hotel is good for a place to sleep for the night.

I was promised a cot for our extra person that was staying with us. We got there and were told none were available. A light cover fell and shattered on me, staff came and kind of cleaned it up. I found several pieces of glass and tried to prevent others from stepping on them. They door knob came off in our hands?! How do they not see that? The room smelled. It looked like most of the staff lived there and most of the rooms were places that strange people hung out. Our rooms weren't cleaned we asked for clean towels and they took them from an empty room because they had no other clean ones. The lobby had a strange odor. Free breakfast, other pictures on this site were not what they really offer.

The pictures on the website did not give a very accurate view of the hotel. It was fairly clean(although the couple traveling with us had some bugs) however it was pretty old and run down. The bed spreads were old and ragged and one day our room did not get cleaned. The front desk staff was helpful that day and brought us towels and clean sheets. The hotel was pretty out of the way from much of the hot spots of Tampa.

I booked this hotel online after searching many hotels with good reviews for a great price. I am very happy with the outcome, the employees were extremely nice, the manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met in the hotel business! The manager served in the Marine Corps and the lobby is VERY patriotic, which made us feel all the more welcomed since our son did two tours to Iraq. The rooms were fantastic, bright, cheery and very welcoming. It is always nice to have a room where the bathroom can be occupied and I can continue to "put on my face" by the vanity. We traveled with my elderly parents and requested a downstairs room to avoid them having to use the stairs, they had no problem whatsoever accomodating us however we needed. The breakfast was very good and there is a Perkins located next door if you want to pay and a served to order meal. There are gas stations and convenient store 1 block away. The interstate is right there so it is easy on/easy off. If I had any complaints about this motel it would be that the pool is not heated and it was a little on the chilly side (72) for me to swim without heat! If you are looking for a great stay at a great price, with staff eager to help you and easily accessible to the interstate...this is it!

Just about what you would expect for the price, room was clean, staff was very quick to respond to my 1 request, great location. Only complaint...a/c sounded like a cesna landing.

I selected this hotel, out of many that are available, because it was located near the airport and we were on our way back home. I arrived late, and I had asked if I could have a lower unit because I had a sleeping child in the car and had 3 luggages to carry up the stairs, otherwise. The lady said "this late there are none available". Fine. We get to the room, preparing to wake up literally in a couple of hours. The ironing board was completely broken. I got frustrated and had to iron on the bed. Then my husband tells me the alarm clock won't set any hour past 2am. Hello! We were relying on the alarm clock to wake up and catch our early flight. And on the way up I saw plenty of rooms that weren't occupied on the first level. I was so frustrated I called the front desk and the lady could've cared less. I mentioned that I saw rooms available on the first level. She said that they were out of order. That wasn't what I wanted to hear after telling her the alarm clock was broken along with the ironing board. I wasn't even offered a percentage off - a measly 7 (10%). Nothing for not getting what you paid for and expect to get with a room. Also, the general manager always seems to be unavailable or gone for the day. I have yet to communicate with him to personally let him know that I will never stay there again. Where's the quality in Quality Inn? I will not stay here again. This place is independently operated, knowing this, people seem to operate locations under par. Bad rep for Choice Hotels.

The hotel (which is actually a motel) was dirty. Our sheets were dirty and it took housekeeping three trips to our room to bring us sheets that weren't too small for the bed. The carpet was filthy and we found a cockroach in the morning. I didn't feel safe with my family there. There was a party going on literally outside our door until 2am and the front desk literally did nothing about it when I asked that they send someone to ask the partiers to quiet down. We checked out after the first night and had to find another hotel for the second night. Orbitz refunded all of our money.

Not one thing. Effluent backing up into stopper less, cracked, stained sink, broken tiles, dirty furniture, non-workingTV remote and no volume control on TV. We did not get the king-sized bed we asked. Nobody should have to stay in a hotel like this. It gives Quality Inn a bad name.

Only reason for Tampa trip was to visit Busch Gardens. Our stay was centered on using the hotel to sleep only. The free breakfast was a nce bonus. We did not use the pool, not enoughtime on tis trp. We have stayed there before and have enjoyed the pool. Remeber its a 2/3 star hotel and worth the price. Staff was friendly.

First were not given adjoining rooms as requested and promised. Both rooms had roaches and the sheets had not been changed as evidenced by make up smeared across the pillowcases and then when the sheets were pulled down for further inspection we discovered pubic hair in the bed. We covered the mattress with towels and slept there very uneasily that first night but checked out first thing in the morning and cancelled the second night. I believe my money should have been refunded to me for at least the second night ( as well as the first) because it caused alot of frustration and irritation.

I have stayed in many hotels in the Tampa area and for the price this one is a good choice. Free breakfast is fantastic! Staff friendly and helpful. Grounds and greens are beautiful. Decent dinner choices within walking distance. Convenient location.

Everything we needed for the price. The only problem was the hair dryer was missing.
