The first room checked into we discovered the TV was broken. The were unsure if they could move us at first. The second room was nice until taking a shower. The tub was dirty and the shower curtian was covered in long black hairs. It has been two weeks since calling to request the mail an expensive bottle of perfume that was left behind. Still waiting for it to arrive.

Friendly staff, comfortable room. Old carpet piled in stairwells, kids screaming in halls. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The kids running/screaming in the hallways was annoying. I had the pleasure of being next to them, so the door-slamming going between rooms was annoying, but to no fault of the hotel.

Very clean, great price suite King non-smoking room. Also hot breakfast in morning with waffle maker and other assortments. Great experience for New Year's Eve 2008!

This hotel is in an excellent location, near the recreation center for activities and located right off I-70 for convenience to all resorts. Quieter than most hotels we stayed in.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good and included yogurt and waffles. My only complaint was the overwhelming scent of cleaners and chemicals. On one morning, it smelled like a hazmat team had just cleaned up.Good for the price and would stay here again.

Very clean facilities, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a wonderful indoor pool and indoor/outdoor pool - kids loved it! Breakfast area is too small and disorderly - feels like a free for all. Great value for the location and amenities.

A good place to stay and I would recommend to anyone. The front desk folks were very helpful and the room was very nice. It was clean, no smells and the beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room which were nice. The access to internet at no charge was very appealing to my two sons. The breakfast was good and had decent variety and you have to love those waffles. We come from out of town to ski and I am thinking of how we can incorporate this hotel more into our travel plans for next year. I was very pleased with our stay and accomodations. The pool, spa, and fitness room looked good but did not get the opportunity to use them. At no point in our stay was I disappointed in my decision to stay here.

Very comfortable rooms and beds with space for the kids. The Silverthorn suite has lots of room and very cool Jacuzzi tub in center of room. Very helpful staff. Continental breakfast is okay...waffles were GREAT! Location is back away from the road so we did not even notice the interstate was close by. Very close to outlet malls and very close to local ski resorts so you could go back to your room if you needed to during the day. Can walk to nearby restaurants. Nice size pool and indoor hot tub. Out door hot tub is nice and secluded. You can make arrangements for your pets here too.

Hotel staff was always friendly and helpfull facilities were clean. Breakfast area was to small for the amount of guest their. I would recomend this hotel to friends. for the money spent it was a very good value. It was very close and and easy to drive to the ski resorts we went to. The breakfast bar was serviced very well and the selection was more than most other hotels I've stayed at. We would plan on staying there on our next visit.

The room was very clean with nice linens. We had a wonderful stay in Silverthorne. This hotel was centrally located for easy travel to all of the summit county ski resorts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The kids enjoyed being able to swim in December in the indoor swimming pool.

The pool was family friendly and the breakfast was very good. The hallways had a smoky smell to them not the rooms.

The room exceeded my expectations and our family got a great value and a good night's sleep. Older carpet. We enjoyed the room and had no complaints. We used the pool, Jacuzzi, and the breakfast bar. I especially enjoyed the waffles (waffle makers at the breakfast buffet) and we had a restful and enjoyable stay.

Very impressed with the breakfast bar. Also loved the big bathrooms in the rooms. We had a ground floor room so the view was of the dumpster outside. The breakfast bar included eggs and sausage. I have never seen that at a hotel. The rooms were large and the bathroom was huge with lots of room to move around compared to other places we stayed. My 11 year old son liked that there was a DVD player in the room. Nice touch. Also large refrigerator and microwave in room was helpful.

Location. Staff was not overly friendly or willing to accommodate basic guests needs. Decided to go for an evening swim and soak in hot tub. Indoor hot tub was empty, when I inquired of the front desk clerk, was told to use the one outside. Yet supposed to leave my daughter unattended at the indoor pool. Checked the outside hot tub, was cold. Inquired of the front desk clerk again, was told to push the button on the wall it would warm up. Sorry I don't know of any technology that will take 400 gallons of water from 55 degrees to 100 degrees in a few minutes. Rooms were well worn, showing wear of many ski seasons. Complimentary continental breakfast was dismal. No hot water for hot chocolate. Desk clerk showed me how to work the water tap on the coffee maker. Funny, was the same thing that I had just done, only to get lukewarm water. Again, was told to wait awhile and it would heat up. Could suffer through all this, but when I brought it to the attention of the manager, as a courtesy, was told that it was all interesting. Only after I mentioned to my wife that I could now understand where the staff got their attitudes did he offer his attention. I have stayed at other Quality Inns and suites and found this stay to be most unusual and not up to QIS standards.

Great breakfast very clean and well kept. Even had shaving cream for my husband at the front desk I forgot to pack. Nothing that comes to mind. I would recommend this hotel to families. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful.

Room good sized and new and fresh. Breakfast room far too small for this size hotel; people had to take their food to their room to eat. Maybe due to snow ski season? Would not pay this high price again for this hotel. Also, the king bed was not as comfortable as what we are used to.

Can walk to stream, shops. So close to adjoining motels. We felt totally safe. The room was very nice beds comfortable. We were wishing for a little more awareness of nature out the windows (other motels very close). Best feature--getting out on the lovely walking trail by rushing stream; nearby shops.
