Bed and pillows were comfortable, amenities were good and liked the big towels. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pillows were labeled soft and firm and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Until this visit I never stayed at HIE before. It bothered me that a hotel had ?Express? as part of its name. But it exceeded my expectations. I don?t remember a time when so many hotel employees were sincere in being sure I was comfortable and had all I needed for a comfortable stay. My wife?s only complaint was that there was not a fan in the bathroom to remove the shower steam. It is not a 4 star but there was nothing express about it to me. I only hope all HIE?s are run as well as this one. We will definitely be back!

Very clean, good internet connection, good AC and hot water, friendly staff. Only bad thing there are no restaurants close by for quick bit to eat but travel 5 miles and you will have options. This is a basic hotel that will meet your basic needs. I would stay again at this hotel.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. It was in walking distance to food. The room was comfy and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast they offer. I would go again if in the area.

I loved the fact they had outdoor pool with waterfall. Close to Kemah Boardwalk, NASA, and resturants. Washing machine came in handy. Left w/o comb toothbrush, and paste, they had it all there complimentary. Great stay. Eric, age 11 Parants concur

I liked the location to restaurants, shopping centers and hair salon etc....It was clean and comfortable. (bed and pillows). I liked the free internet and also the channel selections.

The hotel was clean, and the staff wasvery friendly. We were surprised and delighted at how comfortable and just plain nice this place was. The manager welcomed everyone personally at the excellent breakfast bar, and was also very helpful at answering some of our questions regarding shopping, sightseeing etc. She also gave an interesting little history of Texas. The stay at this hotel was one of the highlights of our stay.

This hotel was small but very nice. The pool is good for children (kinda small, 5ft). The breakfast was good, service was excellent. Was very close to Kemah Boardwalk. Try Mario's Flying Pizza on Bayport Blvd (good pizza and salad bar) and The Spot on the Seawall (great onion rings and awesome view). We stayed here with 2 small children and we had a great time and would stay here again.

Bedding andsoap. Desk personnel were not clear on proper billing. The room was very comfortable. Bedding was nice. The scent of the soap and shampoo was very nice. I'm really impressed with the eco-friendly concept of the laundry.

Location was very close to boardwalk. Milk at continental breakfast was old. The room was small but clean. The beds were comfortable. Location is great. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Cinnamon rolls were far from ready and the milk was old.

Great clean room with a nice king bed! The free breakfast was ok but needed some work. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was great, and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel room was very clean and had nice amenities. The continental breakfast was okay. The bagels and English muffins were really hard. I thought the pool, exercise room and guest rooms were all very nice. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Boardwalk was very close, Galveston is just down the road, and the Space Center was five minutes away. The check-in and check-out was extremely fast and the rooms were very clean. Great hotel and fun for my kids.

It was well kept, clean, beautiful lobby, quiet rooms. Bathroom was large, shower was a dream and beds were very comfortable. I wished that breakfast would end at 10AM for late sleepers also should have at least two king size pillows on king size beds. Took me a long time to choose a hotel on line and when I arrived I was not disappointed. The room was large, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had the most soothing shower. The location was wonderful also. A short drive to the Boardwalk, Moody Gardens, and Antiques Shops. If I'm ever in the area again this will definitely be the hotel for me. And did I mention the friendly and efficient Staff? AN A-1 experience.
