The Quality Inn was ery nice. I was travelling with my daughter and felt very secure while I was there. It was near all attractions yet out of the busy sections of downtown. I will definitely stay again if going through.

Location. The hotel room was not as clean as it should be. Hair lint in corners of bathroom from previous tenants. The desk staff was friendly and courteous. The cleaning staff was vocal, not a thorough job in cleaning the room. Arrived with teen aged daughter and two Latino men were sitting in front of entrance drinking beer. Was apprehensive at first, but was not harassed.

Front desk was friendly, but the experience went downhill from there. Booked one wheelchair accessible room and one regular room. Regular room was ok. Wheelchair accessible room smelled musty. I am allergic to mold and mildew and my allergies acted up. Queen bed for two was too small, more like full. Heater cycled on and off every few minutes. Air flow through room whistled around door and door jam all night. Clearance between corner and refrigerator was not ADA compliant; it was only about 26 inches. Tight turn in front of sink to get wheelchair turned into bathroom required too much maneuvering in chair. Room did have a roll-in shower, but portable shower head needed tension adjusting as it would not hold its position except when pointed all the way up or swung all the way down. breakfast was to be ready at 0630 hours, but the staff didn't begin to set up until 0635. It wasn't ready for patrons unitl nearly 0650 hours. Room literature indicates to see front desk for list of local restaurants. However, front desk could only provide a verbal list and clerk recommended a diner where she had "heard" that the food was really good. It wasn't. The menu selection was mostly greasy foods, and very poor. Service at the diner was awful! I would not stay there, again, and I would not recommend it for disabled travelers.

Very noisy. No customer service and room smelled very odd. Room was across from coke machines, very noisy might as well have been handing out the cokes me all night. Room was on the third floor, got to our room and the remote control to the TV was not working (dead batteries), called front desk and they said I had to come down and get the batteries. Had to wait in line to get the batteries from front desk people. Not very good service and room smelled very odd.

Very helpful, Professional, very friendly hotel staff.Have a good Breakfast having hot delicious cinnamon rolls and varity of items for breakfast.Have a great pool view rooms we stayed In.Easily access to I-10.

It was the only place available near my destination. Everything. It was dirty, trashy surroundings and there was not anything open to eat. I had stayed at this place last year. So I knew what kind of stay I would probably have. I was hoping they had remodeled or updated. If they have, WOW! The changes were not noticeable. They really need to clean up their place. Hire some cleaners that will clean thoroughly after each guest.

Nice clean and quite. I did not like the see through curtains you could see straight through them. There was no privacy. This hotel was in a great spot with lots of close surrounding to make my stay more comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers who need a clean, quite and friendly place to stop and rest.

The room had a fridge and microwave. Access to our room was external, but the elevator was on the inside...very strange. The lobby area was very nice looking. Our room was a little worn, but that is to be expected in the hotels in Port Allen, LA. I've stayed at several hotels in the area, and this one has been the best by a long shot. My only advice is to bring your own pillows-theirs were really flat.

Very close to Baton Rouge, easy on, easy off lots of restaurants near. The hotel was very convenient to our destinations. We could not get a non smoking room, but I guess that's one of the things we have to live with when getting a good rate on a hotel. Overall it was great.

Nothing Everything Bad rooms, elevator was broken when I was there caring heavy luggage and the luggage cart was a waste of time since the elevator was broken it went as far as the reception desk. Pool was emptied and muddy, small beds not queen/full sized, fans not A/C, dirty carpet, dirty.

No service, high price, noisy, dirty, poor location, cheap everywhere. This hotel should be closed down. The service was non-existent, the motel is decrepit with 1960 design features. The lobby and stairwells and balcony walkways are filthy, parking is difficult and it is in a terrible location to get at (you have to drive through a service station).

Only the price. Bed, shower, toilet, front desk brisk almost rude. Just really not up to my usual experience with Holiday Inn.
Date of Stay:
December, 2005
The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast in the hotel was very convenient. The door of our room was extremely hard to open and required much force. Friendly place to stay that is not posh at all with an extreme taxi problem (hard to get).

Staff was very friendly. Room was merely adequate. Hotel on a busy off ramp location of I-10 west of Baton Rouge. Looks like the hotel has been used hard in recent, understandable due to Katrina evacuees and New Orleans clean up crews using the hotel as a staging area.
