I stayed with my son's soccer team and the rooms were great. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was perfect. They really catered to our team, as well as, other teams staying for a tournament.

Overall we had a good experience here... we were treated well, the room was great for the price and it's within walking distance of the beach and a few restaurants. Avoid getting a room near the elevator... the only complaint we had was the noise level of people waiting for the elevator, even in the middle of the night. We did find the bed to be very comfortable.

It was very conveniently located right off the freeway. The walls are paper thin, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff was very understanding.

We stayed at this hotel on 4/6/09 and asked the for "free upgrade" advertised by online travel website . The manager said they do not off a free upgrade and that if we wanted an upgrade we would have to pay * for it. There is no room in this hotel worth even *. The management staff is rude and do not understand the concept of customer service. Our room was dirty, the bathroom had mold on the tile, the beds were terrible, and the hotel itself was noisy and dirty. Do yourself a favor and put it on your do not stay list.

We were part of a large family group that stayed at the hotel and we couldn't be happier with how we were treated. The hotel housed us together and they were very helpful with information, etc. If we return to San Diego, we'll stay at Quality Inn again. We also liked how close the hotel was to the ocean.

The check in person was not very pleasent. The room had this MUSKY/HUMID odor. We were told it was due to the high humidity of being so near the beach. In the final day of our stay, we found out the shower ceilings drywall was soggy and soft. It appears the above piping was leaking. Upon check out, I explained about the wet ceiling and the smell. I was brushed off and told it was due to the high humidity. I will never stay there again or in any other of their hotels.

First of all when we got to the hotel they put us up in a handicap room which I did not request but they said because I went thru Orbitz that is what you usually get. When we went in the room it had a horrible odor in it and we refused to stay in that smelly room so they put us in a different room and that room was better till we went to lay down in the bed and it fell down and broke so we had to call them to come see it and they said yea it's broke !!! Well then they put us up in a different room and finally that one was good but it took 3 rooms to finally get a good room. So I will never stay at another Quality Inn as I do not see it as a very good hotel, they do not keep up there rooms or care of beds!!!

Great location, friendly staff and next door to Benihana's. Excellent food. Breakfast was good, but the best was the bed. The most comfortable bed we've slept in while on vacation. Highly recommended

Free Internet. Hotel Lobby. Everything other that hotel lobby. Very bad experience. I was with my child and wife and first they allocated smoking room. Then they exchanged that with a wheelchair accessible room so room size was so small.

It was a good experience staying here. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. The location is very good, a shopping complex very close by. I would definitely stay there again for the price I paid.

Pleasant, next to good restaurants, beach, nice area, close to highway. Continental breakfast could have offered more. This was a nice hotel. We stayed there with our two young children. The rooms were clean and hotel was kept up nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel next to nice shopping center, highway 5, and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially those who are looking for nice affordable family hotel. Pool is nice too.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was nice. Clean sheets and towels everyday. The pool wasn't cold but it wasn't warm, so on a warm day it was perfect. The staff was pretty friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The continental breakfast was just fine, but for what we were doing we needed more protein and energy than just ceral, toast and fruit (I don't recommend the eggs). We did drive into Oceanside more than Carlsbad, so we drove farther for food, drinks, and souvenirs. But everything was great and grand with this hotel.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our 3 day stay. The view was good, and the location was slightly out of town, which we liked. Staff was professional and helpful, rooms were clean, bed was big and soft.

Good location, price was good. Food was a mixture of items that did not necessarily go together, but tasted fine. Found food under bed. it was there all week. assistant manager seemed disinterested, otherwise experience was fine, nice area, etc.

This hotel was overall a nice place to stay. The best things about it were the comfortable beds, nice continental breakfast and pool. The rooms itself need updating as everything looks somewhat old. Did not have a lot of cable channels. My only negative experience was with the man at the front desk who was not at all pleasant. But, if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in a safe area, I would recommend this place.

Our stay was great. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well kept. The lounge area was very clean and the continental breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Quality Inn & Suites for a wonderful experience!
