Staff not terribly helpful or on the ball, but they weren't rude. Saturday night was a bit of a party (hot tub until 2:00a.m., at least), but very quiet on Sunday (and probably through week). Didn't advise breakfast hours on check-in, so we missed it the first day. Had to re=check=in for second night's stay(?), but that may have been that particular front desk person's issue.

The room was very spacious. It wasn't fancy but a great deal for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Quiet, good food next door. Carpet was aging could be replaced. Hotel was fine for the price would use again.

Checked in late Friday evening. All rooms have exterior doors. Our room was on backside directly across from a bar with very loud music (til 2am). Blow dryer didn't work so I called front desk and they ended up telling me to come get a key for another room and go to that room and unmount the dryer and swap it with ours. I said to the desk "Guess I'm the maintenance man tonight" and she said (not jokingly) you are if you want a hair dryer! Then that one didn't work only to find out on my own that the receptacle was broken on the inside and if you wiggle it just right then it will work. Told the front desk and it never got fixed during my two day stay. Light fixture by front window works only when you shake it so I unplugged it. Shower has mold in grout/chaulk and shower curtain. Towels hard, rough, and scratchy. Greasy black hand smudges on bathroom walls and shower walls. Beds very uncomfortable. Got ice from ice machine and found a spider in the ice. Upon checkout I informed the desk clerk all of my concerns and all he said was "O.K." Definitely not worth the money.

It's a nice touch for a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was lacking. The carpets in our room needed shampooing. All in all...it was a nice stay.

Convient to my grandmothers home. Dirty showers and toilet not scrubed. Housekeeping needs to do a better job on cleaning under the rims of toilets and the shower where the tub meets the wall. Pick up the bedsreads to clean under the beds and clean out the drawers from leftover guests.

The room my husband and I stayed in wasn't very clean, the bed spreads were old and stains on the carpet. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the shower head was broken. The room my son was going to stay in wasn't even cleaned yet, I guess they don't keep track of there rooms before they give them to you. My son also said that the bathroom in the room they finally gave him was dirty and shower head wasn't working well at all. The room numbers 221,219 the uncleaned room was 222. This just wasn't a clean hotel like other Comfort Suites I have stayed at. My husband said the pool was so cold he couldn't stay in it very long at all.

Close to family we visited. The beds were very uncomfortable. Other than locking us out of our room on the second day of a four day stay, there were no problems. Management was friendly and apologetic.

Toured Mt. Dora and surrounding area. This place was convenient to Eustis, Leesburg and others. Free Bfast was nice as well. Room had iron, blow dryer, coffee maker and offered free, any forgotten sundries. The price made it a DEAL. Oh yeah, all sorts of shopping close by, and dining. Mini golf right next door if you've got rugrats or the like.

The beds were very comfortable. Theres nothing we didn't like. We had an excellent experience here. The rooms were very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable compared to some other places we've stayed.

The room was nice and large. Pillows nice but bedding was not anything special. Outside entrances to rooms. As a woman traveling alone, after checking into the hotel late at night, I was directed to park around the back side of the hotel. Where they instructed me to park, I had to walk half the distance back to my room and then haul three cases upstairs (no elevator). There was a sports bar/restaurant next door with men walking from the bar, through the parking lot where I was unpacking. It appeared they were just walking around with no real reason to be there. It made me quite nervous. I am not usually spooked but I felt it wasn't a good situation to be in. Since the hotel was obviously not fully booked, I would suggest they book women traveling alone into rooms closer to main entrances.

I stayed at this hotel about 15 years ago and had an opportunity to stay again recently. I'm accustomed to 5-star hotels when I go on business travel, so of course, this doesn't even begin to compare. However, it's obvious that the owners are doing the best they can with an old facility in an area that doesn't generate a ton of visitors on a regular basis (i.e. doesn't generate a lot of extra money they can put back into the building). The staff was extremely courteous and friendly; the breakfast buffet was sufficient and the rooms were acceptable.

Relatively clean sheets. Not our first choice but other hotels were sold out. Not bad for a fill-in. The view of the pond was nice and the fridge in the room came in handy.

This comfort inn was far from being so. The room we were given had a terrible smoke order imitting from it. The front desk said that it was a non-smoking room. It was not. We had to change our room. Luckily we did. There were police cars in the parking lot. It seems that the restaurant on the premises have rowdy crowds and there were there to protect the parking lot. Needless to say anyone facing this spot was up all night from all of the noise The location was o.k. given the short distance to the downtown area of Mt. Dora. Other than that, I would not recommend this motel.
