It was close to the location we needed. The room was ok if you like leaky showers no blackout curtains on a floor to ceiling window on a outside walkway, and there wasn't a security chain on the door was on the outside of the building. A non secured area - there was drug dealers on the corner of the property and the employee wasn't surprised and didn't care. No pool and breakfast.

I refused to stay at this property and I had to argue with my online travel website and the Quality Inn Manager to get a refund. It's dirty and disgusting-part of the door was missing so a rat or roach could easily join us, and mold was growing out of the coffee pot. The room was tiny and with a king size bed, but you had to take turns walking to the restroom area because the bed was too big for such a small room. Nasty place. I left their with a child and no other hotel reserved, but worth the hassle for our safety.

Staff was friendly. Unsafe location and older hotel. While the staff was friendly, the hotel itself is older and not in the best location. I recommend you stay in a room outside of the main building since the main building smelled of chlorine from the indoor pool.

The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good enough for a help yourself buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had an outside ground floor room with a lot of noise from the adjoining highways. If you stay here, try to get the second floor or inside room.

Gave us extra pillows we requested. Our rooms were too far apart. The walls had dirty streaks down them. The lamp in the room did not work. The arcade was horrible. Most of the games did not work. There was not even a queue ball for the pool table or a puck for the air hockey game.

The overall experience with this hotel has always been good with me. This is been second time i stayed here. The reason to stay @ this hotel is , Their staff is very very friendly, honest and polite. I had lost a diamond wedding ring, i had lost all hopes of getting it, but thanks to the Housekeepers i got it next afternoon even after i had checked out. The Pool looked refreshing and sparkling waters invited me to take a dip. After the remodelling, this hotel is worth every dollar spent on it. I love to stay here whenever i am in Louisville.

It had an indoor pool. We had noise in room - they did not fix it and did not move us until 11 p.m. at night. There was a noise behind a wall in the bathroom making it difficult to sleep. The clerk offered to move us the next day, but when someone else came on duty he refused--saying there were not enough rooms. A maintanance man came by to fix it but when we returned late at night we discovered he did not repair it. We had to be moved very late at night and it turned out therewere available rooms. That room was supposed to be more expensive because it was an inside room and it was near the pool but it was missing the refrigerator and the wireless Internet did not work in the room at night. A spotlight from the pool area shone into our room (through the curtains) so I'm not sure why it was more expensive (given no refrigerator or Internet and the spotlight).

reservations were mixed up, hotel manager was rude and would not accomodate any additional rooms. check in time on-line was at 3:00pm , but in the hotel desk it states 4:00pm hotel manager is not pleasing at all, probably why he cannot work in Las Vegas. Any hotel in Las Vegas is always willing to please ! ! ! !

There was a pool. Not clean. Not clean and the air didn't work. The area was not a good, couldn't go out by myself. Restaurant was not open at all for the 3 days.

It was an awesome stay here @ this hotel, Pool was outstanding(heated indoor), we enjoyed fitness center, game arcade. We were given brand new rooms, new bathtubs, tub surrounds and granite vanities. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Breakfast was excellent. Overall it was an enjoyable stay with good restaurants around. The hotel was in good location. nearby to the downtown and airport yet away form the plane noise. After renovations this hotel will be outstanding. We loved the color scheme for the exterior paint. Thanks online travel website, to recommend this great hotel to us.

Friendly andhelpful staff. Lounge was closed and has been for a long time. Easy access.

Requested a non-smoking room due to medical complaints. Was given smoking room. Asked for two nights to be moved. Room was not maintained at all. Noise levels beyond endurance. Free internet was sporadic, at times non-existent. Staff did not have enough clean towels to give all in our party a towel. We had to share.. ridiculous. Would not recommend this place AT ALL. Will never stay here again.

Close to Churchill Downs. Carpet and exterior. Close to the race track but overly priced for the quality of our room. Maid didn't make beds or take out trash.

Hotel has gone though a major renovation and I was assigned in a newly remodeled room. Beds were extremely comfortable and Continental Breakfast had lot of varities to choose from. Hotel was clean , staff was friendly & professional . Very convenient location from interstate proximity to various attractions and restaurants.I wouldn't worry about any previous reviews , it is under new management and a lot of improvement. I will definitely stay at this hotel again

It was in a good location. They were remodeling the motel and it was a mess. Maybe after the remodel it would be a good place to stay. It is in a good location very close to the interstate. That made it very helpful to get on and off.

Motel is not clean, walk into the lobby and drywall is exposed, random stains in the bathtub, and they have bed bugs! The money we saved on the room went towards medical bills. Continental breakfast had a wide variety. But definitely NOT worth it.

Swimming pool was nice. Everything else was not great. Rooms are small, not well maintained. Beds are old mattresses that could be seen were stained and beds were not changed on a daily basis. Towels not picked up or replenished. Continental breakfast was alright, not much selection to it. Overall I personally would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only things going for this hotel were the 4 foot pool (nice location) and also this hotel was basically located near a major highway, with any kind of food within walking distance.

I think this hotel should have told people that they're under consuraction the place was a mess! It smelled of meldow . Bed bugs are real so they should clean a little better. Hair in the bed that didn't belong to me.
Date of Stay:

The hotel was ok except we had an outside room which proved to be noisey due to poeple working on their cars outside our room and people going up and down the outside stairs at all hours of the night. Free breakfast was not worth the stay.

"Was in Louisville for the state youth bowling tournament. Room was very clean, pool was great, and property was clean and neat. Motel was right on a busy street so we had some road noise, but not bad enough to wake you up. Lot's of fast food in the area and very close to the interstate."
