We stayed 10 days, because we couldn't find another room nearby the medical facilities in Mission Viejo. The ROOM was barely adequate for a handicapped room. The BATHROOM was nice sized and the door was wide enough. The rest of the room was barely wide enough for a wheelchair. We were constantly moving him to be able to walk around in there. The PILLOWS were lumpy and only double bed size on a QUEEN bed. The TV needs hung on a wall and the big chest needs put in a corner or out of there. It was clean enough, but there were smokers in the hall and the Chinese restaurant kept its door open and smelled up the hall AND our room. There was construction going on and sometimes you could smell either the glue or the varnish. They would not give us extended hours on the last day when asked. The POOL is outdoors and usually in the shade. It has NO heater and is really cold. It has no ramp for handicapped access. There were pennies on the bottom 3 days in a row. The SPA and the exercise room are in the basement which smells musty and is not well lit.The spa switch is either disabled or broken. The BACK DOOR was unlocked all day every day, so anyone could come and go from the parking garage. The parking garage has no designated handicapped stall. It has junk in 3 corners and other storage in 2 stalls, so they can't be used. A nice variety is provided for the free breakfast: Eggs, toast, cereal, bagels, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, milk.

This was my first stay at a Best Western and maybe my last. The location for me was good but this hotel is old with noisey A/C. an elevator that smells like bug spray and a room door with 2 inches of space at the bottom for who knows what to crawl in. Poor quality for the price.

After waiting at the front desk for 10 minutes on Monday evening I called out to get attention and the front desk attendant finally got up from the chair she was sitting in just out of view of the Front Desk area and graced me with her presence. The breakfast buffet was inconsistent in its offerings and no one was paying attention to the plates and bowls. At 7 AM Monday nmorning there weren't any even though breakfast was suppsoed to be from at least 6am - 9 am.

This was our 3rd stay at this motel & the worst. Only once did we get towels for 4 (then not washclothes), the alarm was turned on and went off at midnight 2 nights and didn't work when I needed to set it. The balcony door was left open by housekeeping all day once and the lobby was being retiled the entire week. Internet was slow and sometimes didn't work. Comfortable, affordable but service stinks.
